Ooh this was fun we loved the challenge. It was our first geocache and it was successful! Thx so much it was difficult and fun!
We couldn't find it looked around, There was used pads lying around which was gross
DNF, didnt get to investigate the area, as somebody has used the area as a toilet for #2s!
DNF. Looked through all possible nooks and crannies, UTL anything that resembled a cache, looked through previous photos and found a ziploc bag that looked similar in photo. Will revisit at a later date
Mr Beetle [sitting in the van] said I looked like a lost sheep looking for this one. I must say the GPS seemed erratic here and for no good reason as there were no tall trees or overcast conditions. The log sheet seemed to consist of lots of different pieces of paper but after a dawn start I couldn't be bothered sifting through them so just signed the first one that had a space. Thanks brookphet.
We had heard of **Dawn Cafe** down this way, and on a lovely clear sunny day, a visit was definitely on the cards. After a great lunch, it was time for the usual ritual, and out comes the C:GEO caching app, and we're away. This was an obvious stop, and a great start to the afternoon's events. TNLN, SL, TFTC
A long planned trip away finally came to fruition as we headed off to Geelong after a gap of some years to catch up with caching friends. There is always a good variety of caches and hides to search for and Geelong itself is a pretty spot with lots of places to explore. Plenty of history and lovely scenery with the bay, riverside, open paddocks and bushland. We particularly enjoyed the many trails and riverside paths where Mrs SKI could give her new ebike a workoutA great time was had with lots of laughs and ribbing as we searched for the various caches and wondered what we might find next. We also had the chance to catch up with some great local cachers on a lovely evening out.Logs signed as SKI Pair, SP or RASP.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache brookphet.**SKI Pair****
Found on a typical Summer day with Roostaman and friends, on a a short trip to Vic. . Lots of travelling and caches as well. Thanks for the cache brookphet, ***MrsRoosta***
What a fantastic day of geocaching around Geelong and the Bellarine Peninsula! The weather was perfect, and the landscapes were stunning. Our group ventured through a mix of urban areas, lush parks, and coastal paths in search of hidden caches. The camaraderie among our caching crew made the day even more enjoyable, with plenty of laughs and shared triumphs as we uncovered each cache. As the sun began to set, we gathered to celebrate our successes and swap stories from the day's adventures.Geocaching around Geelong and the Bellarine Peninsula was truly a memorable experience, and we can't wait to return for more caching adventures in the future! This is one of the caches found today. Thanks brookphet for the cache.

With a few nearby caches still to be found we set off on this sunny day to empty the local map of hides and turn them into smilies. We had the location to ourselves so a swift find was made. Thanks brookphet for the placement.
Found by The Empire + HWe had just enjoyed a delightful lunch in Torquay, a gateway to the beautiful Bellarine Peninsula. The afternoon sun bathed the coastal town in a warm, golden glow, inspiring us to explore more of this picturesque region. After savoring our meal, we set out on our adventure, driving along the scenic roads of the Bellarine Peninsula. We parked the car, grabbed this cache then went for a walk. We soon came across a sign for a walking trail that led to a nearby lookout point. Eager to stretch our legs and take in the breathtaking views, we parked the car and set out on the trail. The path meandered through coastal shrubs, and the gentle rustling of leaves and the distant call of seagulls accompanied our journey. As we ascended, the lookout point came into view, perched high on a cliff overlooking the ocean. The view that greeted us was nothing short of spectacular. The vast expanse of the Southern Ocean stretched out before us, its deep blue waters meeting the horizon in a seamless blend of sea and sky. White-capped waves crashed against the rugged rocks below, sending plumes of spray into the air.We stood in awe of the natural beauty that surrounded us. The salty breeze tousled our hair, and the sound of the ocean was a constant, soothing presence. We watched as surfers carved graceful arcs on the waves, their colourful boards contrasting against the deep blue backdrop. Thanks for the cache brookphet.- M
