Attempted to find this one today but no luck... recent bad weather may have had an effect ...
No joy here for me today, I can see where I think it should be, but there is nothing there, got wet for no happy reason. Lucky it is a sunny day
We are spending the Easter long weekend down on the Bellarine Peninsula. Obviously, grabbing geocaches was one of the items on the itinerary. Got here on Good Friday, and lots of other people are around enjoying the great weather. This cache was on my "Must Do" list, and after buying Fish and Chips for lunch nearby, we ate it watching the water, pier, and family playing cricket in the water. Afterwards, Son2 took the short way to GZ over the rocks while we walked around. By the time I I had taken my shoes off and started wading into the water, he had found it and brought it to everyone on the rocks. 999HK was photographer and Huntress watching. First cache on the trip found. Thanks for the cache, Dromaniax.Hunter
Found with the family after a wedding recovery at the local pub. I didn't have swimmers but I waded in my shorts to make a quick find at GZ. Always love a cache that's a bit harder to get to but isn't the hardest find in the world, it makes it all very rewarding. The water was a cool but lovely temperature. Terrific Melbourne view, a great excuse for a wander along the pier. TFTC!
The Donut clan spent the morning enjoying the beach, hot chippies and quality time together. I knew there was a geocache close by and with it being low tide it was the perfect opportunity to get the smiley.Made the short walk to GZ where I spotted a school of fish and a sneaky little nano. All is good here Thanks for placing this cache!!!
Out and about caching around St Leonards today with my son, was chasing 20 caches today but a few DNFs put a dint in that total we came up with 16 in the end. Some great designs and a travel bug motel to boot. I wont be chasing this on today as it is too cold to get wet, i'll be back in Summer.
*Eleventh Day Of Cachemas 2023 Adventure #8*
It was a stunner of a day for getting out and grabbing a few caches. Now, the sun has just dipped below the horizon, it's turned cold quick.
Colder still for this cache. I was in a position to help out the CO with this one, and replace the little blighter that had gone missing a little while ago. But I wasn't going in without putting on my wettie first.
It's practically a Cachemas Miracle!
Thanks heaps, Dromaniax!

Thank you to wespro for putting the replacement cache in place for me. It is there for anyone willing to brave the cold to find
Was missing but replaced by Wespro and I today on behalf of cache owner. Glad it was not me actually in the water. Brrrrr
Had a decent look for this one but was running out of time so will leave it for another time.
We had come prepared for retrieving this one today and with a break in the rain torrents we pumped ourselves up to head in. As RomingHowie mentioned there has been a change at GZ which is CO is aware of. Glad to get back into the warmth of the geomobile again! TFTC
Today is definitely the day after, the day after the Inaugural Great Cache Crawl. We are pleased to be able to say that we made it from beginning to end and had an awesome time.
Today is a bit of a slower pace. RoamingHowie offered to take one for the group which I am extremely grateful for. There was a bit of concern initially but that was soon sorted. Thanks to RH for doing the deed and to the CO for placing this for us to find.

Today is going to be at a bit slower pace than yesterday. The Inaugural Great Cache Crawl was a great success and made better by pulling it all together on short notice. It was also great to see how many people were able to attend on such short notice. Looking forward to what is to come.
There was a bit of debate as to whether this cache was going to be attempted and as RH volunteered to do the deed, who were we to try and talk him out of it.
We weren't sure that we were going to be able to claim this one but thanks to the CO for allowing us our smiley. Thanks also to RH for his assistance.

Today is recovery day after completing the inaugural Great Victorian Cache Crawl. They came, they crawled, they celebrated, including 16 who traveling all the way from Cowes through to Queenscliff.
What better to start the recovery day than with a cold ocean swim. I drew the short straw again and after ab impromptu change in the carpark, set off to retrieve the little blighter from in the water.
There was a little ocean mischief at GZ which we flagged with the CO.
Thanks Dromaniax for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to find.

So after years... no, months.. no, weeks... well a couple of weeks planning, it's finally the day.
Not sure where this hair-brained idea came from, but stoked RoamingHowie managed to pull it all together.
The inaugural Great Victorian Cache Crawl 2022. Beginning with Saturday's event at 7am in Phillip Island, we'll be travelling via Lang Lang, Cranbourne East, Devilbend Reservoir, Mount Waverley, Altona Meadows and Lara before finishing for dinner in Queenscliff.
Day Three: The Recovery.
Just like any recovery day, today started with a swim. RoamingHowie braved the rather cold conditions on behalf of the team.
Thanks for bringing us here today by placing this cache, Dromaniax

Came prepared not to get wet but didn't realise that I would not have good balance in the water. Went back to the car for a pole and all was good then.
Nice hide even though the water was cold. Thanks Dromaniax

Well everyone rightly thanked Ahomburg for getting wet on behalf of us all, but noone mentioned the COLD! Many thanks to Ahomburg and of course Dromaniax.
Although I was part of the CITO crew, I intend on returning with the Cache Whisperer geohubby to 'find' this one. He has a fandangled full face mask for snorkelling which he loves using. So when we can (& it's a bit warmer), we will go for a swim & I'll point it out to him.
Thanks Dromaniax.
Thanks Dromaniax.

Talk about a bonus cache.
What a great way to celebrate a milestone!
The CITO Crew all assembled as ahomberg braved the cold and deeper than expected water to make the retrieval on our behalf. Bravo, Adriaan!
Thanks, Dromaniax, for the cache and your indulgence.

In St Leonard today to attend 2 events. The weather was kind, the crowds were absent, apart from geocachers and for us the caches were plenty as we haven't collected a lot in this area. ??
The CITO Crew quickly assembled as ahomburg took the plunge.
Thanks to ahomburg for taking one for the team and Dromaniax for the cache.

Driving down to St Leonards today with Stemicmitsar to attend two events one of which was a Cito, with him chasing CITO's for fabled challenges and me just happy to go out caching plans were mad and we were off for another day of caching.

Had a lot of laughs here as ahomburg got wet on our behalf. That looked very cold. Much appreciated along with others from today’s CITO crew. Thanks for the placement Dromaniax.
After the CITO when the tide wasn’t quite so high the crew cheered aHomburg who got quite wet while the rest of us cheered him on while we all stayed high and dry. Thanks to aHomburg for his valiant effort and Dromaniax for the cache
Following the CITO, we wandered over to his spot and cheered ahomburg on while he braved very cold waters to sign the log. The log was signed as CITO CREW.
Thanks for placing the cache Dromaniax, a favourite from me.

A lucky find on a wavy sort of late afternoon.
The Sister helped out big time with the retrieval, Suscoe and Bushfire can finally cross this one off the list.
The Suscoe team love Weedy Sea Dragons.
The holiday season is starting to wind down, the covers band in the beer garden could be heard as we returned to the cars.

Sometimes you are in the right location at the right time and that was today as I had no intention of getting wet or even caching for that matter but that changed as I was in the area and spotted my mate suscoe was down here with the family so I just had to say hi and then discovered what they were planning so I just had to go along and enjoy seing this little fella being placed in front of us so what else could a cacher do than sign the log.
Big thanks to Ross's sister for getting very wet to help us old folk out.
Great set of cache notes so another F.P. coming your way.

Today we were meeting the CO for lunch and a quick loop around the Peninsula grabbing a few caches especially a couple of D/T combinations that we need for our next D/T loop.
After a yummy lunch and the inevitable chit chat that followed we checked the tide charts to be delighted in finding we were at the lowest of tides right now so it was a great time to have a crack at this one. Neville_devil was prepare for this one only getting slightly wet but with the tide being so low his shorts didn't even touch the water.
Thank you Dromaniax for another Peninsula pier cahe

With a very early start the following morning I had planned to have an early night. But that was put aside when this cache was published. One hour less sleep, how bad can be.
Well stupid is as stupid does as I made my way to the parking area to find a group with torches flashing them around GZ.
But it turned out they were fishing.
Well a late night dip it is as I reluctantly entered the water as it slowly got deeper, making my way past sting ray and a school of Whiting, hoping no predators were lurking in the dark waters.
Thankfully I was able to make a quick find with the challenge being not to drop the cache. A blank log was discovered for a [FTF]
It turns out the Reviewers have a sense of humour as the publication came out at high tide.
Log signed and replaced as found.
Thanks for the Traditional Cache Dromaniax.
