Thanks to Pippahiccup for K9 Cache Trackable Visit x 2:TB7HH4V - GC Trackable Patch TBAA3BR - Runawayz Progress Flag Out and about with CuriousGeorgie22In the area this weekend for Baralaba Bash so feels like a great opportunity to chase some geocaches too. Thanks for bringing me here for the chance at a smiley face.I actually attempted this one last night but the inner of the 2 gates and I had a disagreement and I came out with the ouchies. After a few choice words I started walking towards GZ, but then my finger started hurting and blood dripping so that was that. Thankfully the supermarket was still open, supplies purchased and back to room to clean it up. Photo shows war wound.Back today and no gate wars. Spotted cache, returned to car for step ladder and now at least this one is done.

Today's geocaching adventure was truly memorable, and not just because of the hidden treasure I found. I ventured into a dog park with the intention of a fun, casual search, but little did I know I'd have to dodge magpies five times during my quest! As I entered the dog park and started following my GPS coordinates, I had a feeling it was going to be an interesting find. The cache was cleverly hidden and I soon spotted it. Just as I was about to reach for the cache, I heard the unmistakable swoosh of wings and felt the sharp beak of a magpie dive-bombing me for the first time! It seems that these territorial birds were determined to protect their nests, and my presence was clearly not welcomed. After a series of dodges and ducking for cover, I finally retrieved the cache, all while keeping a wary eye on those crafty magpies. With the geocache in hand and my heart still racing from the avian encounters, I quickly signed the logbook and snapped a photo to commemorate the day. I've certainly earned this find, given the aerial acrobatics required to claim it! Despite the unexpected magpie attacks, this was an unforgettable geocaching experience. It's a testament to the unpredictability of the great outdoors and the adventures that await us when we set out to explore. Dodging magpies to claim the prize!

As always, for a cache in a dogpark,
I was accompanied by me imaginary geohound, "Shadow" [:o)]
So it wasn't long before me faithful hound had sniffed out where the geocache was hiding.
Problem was that Shadow could smell the cache,
but neither of us could see it !! Red Face

A bit of stretching and some sticky fingers eventually tracked down the cache Big Grin

As a reward, I threw an imaginary tennis ball for Shadow to chase Smile
Good dog [^]

TFTC ... WOOF !!

Quite surprisingly MrG spotted the cache from outside the K9 area. A quick cache is a good cache... though it did take a bit of time to walk around and get it. Thanks Pippahiccup.

Must have still been asleep when looking for this as I scanned from that side to the other in the usual spots I’ve seen those hidden in. From there it was at the 2nd one of those I looked at. Thanks Pippahiccup for the 3rd *FTF* on my cross state adventure. 3 caches, all different containers. Done well
