This one was still in place but I collected it to free up the spot for something new.

Came down and replaced all zip ties. Doesn't look to broken, more like it was cut by how smooth and clean it was.
Maintenance completed, cache repaired.

The zip tie that it was hanging off broke. We didn’t have one on us to replace it sorry. We’ve had to wedge it into a branch. I hope it stays there.
First find after a long break from geocaching. Here with the mini human searcher!
After focusing for a long time on other caches in and outside of Townsville I am once again returning to the remaining few caches along this powertrail. I scouted this one some months ago when I was doing the other ones, but was staring up the easier to climb tree where of course this wouldn’t be placed. This time I came prepared with my tree fishing rod, spotted it in an instant, and equally quickly lowered it down to me. Nice one. Thanks for placing and maintaining
With the agility of a jellyfish - always choose the pole! took a little while to spot but was able to retrieve, sign and replace between dog walkers, thanks for the cache GeocachingTownsville.
We decided to take a walk along the river, and started here with this one lunch.
We opted for our TOTT, and soon had this one signed.
Very quiet at GZ today.
Thanks Geocaching Townsville

50 finds, hooray! And a great cache for my 50th being my biggest free climb and hardest. Tftc.
Well I LOVED this one. We hate fishing, so climbing it was. As an experienced tree climber, this was a particularly fun tree to climb. Difficult enough to make it a challenge, so the reward was so good!
But then I dropped the log! A fun game of catch ensued.
Photo is a spoiler but I don't think finding the right tree is the hard part!

We haven't been for a while.. Gotcha signed and dated log and returned cache to its spot
As this is a DT that I don’t have filled, it became a target. It looks climbable but it also looked very easy to tree fish too, so that became the method of attack. Fairly straight forward so i didn’t take to long to retrieve, with the walk to and from and the online logging taking longer by far. I could have just logged TFTC but what is the fun in that.
Not sure this is entirely where it is intended to be as even vertically challenged Loki could reach this from the ground with a short stick. Happy to get a smiley here though. Tftc
Great Northern escape 2022 Day 14. Townsville post Mega section Day 2. For my last day in Townsville, I joined TikvaNZ for another section of the Ross River power trail, with a bit of on and off again rain and a closed section we did pretty well. After that I set myself a list of puzzles and other non -trad caches to find for the day, which all took a lot longer than I expected, not to mention the ongoing rain all day. It has been a wonderful time in Townsville, and I have many more caches to get, so hopefully I will get to pass through again later in the year.

Day 14 of a 3 week holiday driving from Canberra to Townsville and back to attend the Mega. This morning Albida33 and I did some more of the Ross River Power Trail by bike/scooter. Apart from having to skip 4 due to being fenced off, all caches we attempted were soon found. TFTC.

Its all about the numbers this morning before flying out. Didn't know what to expect with this hide as we were devoid of extendable TOTT but were ready to deploy a human ladder to reach the right spot. In the end, grabbed the cache without too much effort, thanks GeocachingTownsville for this power trail.
Out caching with Wollaston and SeasonedBird. Fun trail and a diverse styles of hides along here. Thanks
As we are remaining in Townsville following the Mega, due to repair works required on the car, we are out on the bikes taking the opportunity to look around the town and pickup those caches that we pass. Still bloody hot.
Thanks GeocachingTownsville for the caches.

Total Cache Finds 12721,
As part of the CacheQLD committee I am here working, caching, catching up with friends and generally having a fab time. Some awesome puzzles up this way and some tricky and adventurous hides! Awesome experience! Not as hard as we thought it would be so possibly not returned to its place?? Tftc
A fantastic scooter ride around the river resulted in some caches today! Thanks for the caches GeocachingTownsville.

Found with BecknMonts while out using our electric scooters. A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon when we found most of the cachers that we went for.
We are cruising within Townsville to get some caches before the Mega starts.

Day 3
Today hubby teamed up with geono to go out on their bikes & do a few caches. These were mainly pole caches. He loves it out on his bike & the shade from the trees made it a pleasant morning caching.
Been past this one a number of times so today with a TOTT in hand the find was made.
Thankyou GeocachingTownsville for placing this cache.

Coongoola & Geodog are on an adventure travelling to the Townsville event in Qld. Came back a second time with the right TOTT. We found your cache today, 10 April 2022 1:39 pm , while enjoying another day out adding to our tally. TFTC GeocachingTownsville
MrG didn't click there were two ways to get a name in this log till I pointed it out when he got to GZ. Nah...didn't feel bad at all. TFTC GeocachingTownsville.
I downloaded a few caches along the river last year and now I actually have a chance to find a few. I totally missed seeing this one, perhaps I didn't download it onto my GPS. Another time perhaps?
I had a few hours this morning before I had to drive home and had the mountain bike packed so decided to do some of this trail, I didn't have time to finish it so will be back another day.
Overall I liked the array of different caches with some being an easy ride all the way to the cache and others needing some tree climbing/fishing ability.
Most of the caches and logs were in good order.
I chose the pole method with this cache.
Many thanks to the CO's for placing.

For some reason I remember the location but nothing about the cache. I thought it a similar location to a challenge cache we did the other day & upon leaving the GZ after claiming & signing the log I was right! Sorry that’s all I got
After a few climbs, I was happy for Muggle65 to fish for this one. He did it well and we were soon in the log. Enjoyed admiring some beautiful homes in this area. How the other half live. Thank you for a fun cache
I enjoyed placing these in preparation for the Easter 2022 Mega. Claiming the find now.
Thanks GeocachingTownsville for placing my 2800th find, the 2nd of today’s **FTF**’s and first of a new souvenir. I happily log them when i find them unless I need to add a photo in relation to them or have been out of 4G range so had to wait until after 10:30 to grab this one. I attempted climbing but wasn’t chancing my ankle which i somehow tweaked on the flat ground to the cache, so I ended up using the pole. I did the requested maintenance and look on to higher aims.
