On our Australian trip . After started for some days in Darwin we are on the road to Perth now .On the Road after Katherine we have seen Edith Falls, Kunnurra and Bungles Bungle. Finally we cross the Pentecost-river to enter the Gibb RiverRoad . A lot to see like Emma Falls, El Questro, Mitchel Falls, Manning Gorge, Galvans Gorge, Bell Gorge, Tunnel Creek and Windjana Gorge .Now return on the sealed road again . Further over Derby, Broome, Port Hedland, Karratha, a sidekick to Karijini NP, Exmouth, Coral Bay, Carnarvan and now down the coast to Perth .At Geraldton there are plenty of caches and we stayed one night .Nice overnight here and even got some caches . This was worth a favo!TFTC# 17'375
TFTC. Despite no phone/internet reception we found this cache by mistake. The roof is delaminating but doesn't need immediate attention.
Me and mudncraig are on our first little camping trip with Tessa (our furry puppy). Such a beautiful camping spot! The water was nice and warm and we all enjoyed swimming and cooling off after geocaching wonder. A cute cache, tftc!
Heading north on a road trip with richlink enjoying the locations we visit and grabbing some caches along the way.
It's been a long time since we were here last, what a popular spot.
Thanks Noidya

It’s been quite a few years since our last visit to this spot. Headed out with iluvtrekking with caravans on tow as we were heading into Geraldton for a few days. The camping area was already full here but enough space for us to ‘double park’ while we strolled to gz. The recent inundation was clearly evident so it’s is fortunate that the cache is situated aloft. Thanks moidya.
On the hunting trail with SeasonedBird & Outnabout while in town for the wedding of the year. A favourite point from me for the creative hide. It’s a great day for caching.

For anyone making Geo plans, do yourself a favour and visit Australia’s only current Geotour at Ballarat while it lasts: https://www.geocaching.com/play/geotours/ballarat-victoria
And for anyone that can travel to Longreach, Queensland, late September 2023, Google “QOGM” which is the Queensland Outback Geocaching Muster. You’ll have at least 8 or 9 days of pure geocaching fun with around 200 like minded people attending a mix of events and access to over 200 geocaches placed by the QOGM team. It’s not a Mega, it’s better.

Today we went from Walkaway to Ellendale Pool. We passed some geocaches. We found what we were looking for in most of them. A can lay crushed on the street, we suspect that this was the can, because a cache further forward, it was the same situation.
Thank you for setting and maintaining the caches.

Glad I switched into enclosed shoes but some longer and thicker clothes would've been less spiky too!
TFTC!

Managed to make it out here this time as the roads were open and not water logged TFTH
Out and about again, still in Geraldton and headed to Ellendale Pool.
Found a variety of hides and in different areas which made for a nice day. Generally quick finds today
Thanks to all the CO’s for the hides I found.

Heading back home from a camping weekend up in Geraldton. Keen to pick up the final stage for the Great West Oz Road Trip Lab out at the wind farm, plus there's a trio of caches out this way that have been on my DNF list since my last trip out here in 2020. So a diversion from the highway to Ellendale Pool for lunch is the plan! An added bonus was a couple of new caches out here that weren't here last time There was only one van parked up at the pool so I pretty much had the whole place to myself - bliss. Found a shady spot and had some lunch then had a nice walk along to GZ. I would have come for a walk here anyway but so much better to have a new cache to find as well A couple of false starts once at GZ before I spotted it - and then couldn't understand how I hadn't seen it sooner, haha. A great little construction here - well worth a fave point. No problems here today - TFTC
Had a nice little stroll to this one and it didn’t take long to spot the cute cache. Lovely location TFTC moidya
Quick maintenance run before I head off on holidays, everything in good shape and waiting to be found! Merry Christmas
Almost walked through the biggest spiders web with a huge spider eek. Bring a tall friend for this one I’m 160cm tall and I couldn’t reach
Found it. TFTC Moidya. Great walk along this path. Once I got to GZ it was a quick find. Replaced as found.
Outnabout doing a maintenance run and decided to grab two mew caches in the area. This was a lovely walk and a stunning view from GZ. I appreciate the effort in construction. Thanks and we’ll done. Deserves a favourite.

11am on a weekday morning, we were very much surprised to find only a couple of campers but heaps of day trippers up at Ellendale Pool, the weather wasn’t really nice either. We found ourselves a table and hoped it would still be available when we came back from our stroll all the river which luckily it was.
Mac enjoyed frolicking along the short track, I kept him on his lead in case we crossed paths with a snake but it proved to be a good choice when we got to GZ or he would have been straight into the pool of water. While I gazed over the scene taking in the landscape following on from the recent flood Ian spotted a beautiful geocache. No chance of it being washed away. We loved the presentation of the container, it really suits the environment. We signed the log and very carefully placed it back.
A favorite point from us.
Thanks
