A quick find here today. I didnt realise Tatura was as big as what it is, it even has a Subway now. TFTC
We found this cache after attending the 2024 Cache Crawl lunch in Tatura. Someone had left a chewing gum in the cache, so the bag was very sticky. We removed the chewing gum, but the bag will need to be replaced. TFTC
Loved the minty fresh scent, but not sure the swap is really meant to be here. Tftc
A nice quick and easy find while attending the Great Vic Cache Crawl and lunch event in town here.TFTC
Omegaman1971Support Your Local Villain Live - Laugh - Lurk First To Find: 181Sidetracked Cache Finds: 133Back in Shepparton after many years to bring some smiles to the map, catch up with old friends, and celebrate Happy Feet1's birthday. This is one of the caches we found this weekend.Cheers for the cache
Out and about with omegaman, Happy feet and Happy Pants, there are always plenty of laughs while we are turning caches into smiles. This is one of the caches found today. Not sure what the go was here the bag containing the log was sticky as and had a hole in the bottom. We washed our hands at a near by tap and the sanitizer was applied. Cache could do with a bit of maintenance. Thanks lorigus74 for the cache.
Found by Mary and David at 14:55. Found quite exposed and a little damp, but we could still leave our log. Added some natural cover. Our thanks to lorigus74.
Continuing on with my well earned 2 week break and after staying in Rochester, Hay, White Cliffs, Cunnamulla, Toompine, Charleville then Cunnamulla again, Wanaaring then Hillston for the night. So (after my very big detour due to lots of road closures) its now time to continue head back south towards home. The sun is still making an appearance after being cold and windy for the last week and it is good to get the suns rays onto you to bones.Up early to take a few more untravelled back roads and a nice stop in Oolambeyan National Park which was an old station that is worth a visit. So after Mathoura, Barmah, Undera Im finally at Tatura where I am staying for the night. Before checking in I had time to tour the back roads to find a couple of caches first.I have checked in at the motel so now for a walk down the Main Street to find a pub for some tea.Called in here and as it was starting to get dark I was able to locate this one with out to much trouble. Thanks lorigus74 TFTC,
It was pretty cool and only took me about 10 seconds but thanks for the geocache
Absolutely love spending time in parts of the town we usually don't look twice at. Thank you!!
Returning from my weekend at Carters Beach, I came through Tatura to pick up some of the caches I didn't have time to locate the other day. There was nobody around today, so I was able to make a quick find, and sign the log. Thanks for the fun, lorigus74.
Lol, twisted fun! This trail looks great I found a goodie a few years back and now I've made the list to follow. Thanks lorigus74, you will hear more from me!
Woke up in Tatura and thought I would do a bit of caching before the event. Not a busy spot at 8:30am on ANZAC day.Maybe I should check if the baker is open? Thanks, Robmc.
We were in town for the CVGT event at the pub up the road, and as we rocked up with half an hour to spare, we wandered down here for a look.Half way in the journey we met up with Micaparamedic so he joined us for a walk/chat.At GZ it was Mrs ILookedThere who found the nicely themed cached and we signed our lives away in the log book.Cheers
So good! The tour of TAT with CybergranV using the caching model has been full of surprises and this is a rather fabulous tribute to the community!. Im on a multi mission and the circuitous detour from Melbs to home base in the NE via Shep and Tatura has plenty of rewards including the EVENT thats attracted a huge crowd. TFTC and the FUN!
A plan was hatched to go to my first Central Victorian geocaching event so we headed off with Snips and Co for a one day road trip from the south of Melbourne up to Tatura.Still had time before lunch to do this one and I parked a whole street away (50 metres) much to the annoyance of the other in the car getting sooo much exercise! Thanks lorigus74 for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.
After camping last night at Ayson's Reserve, Chook headed off to Tatura for the Central Vic Annual Event. After enjoying a good part of the afternoon at that fabulous event, there was just enough time to explore a little bit of this lovely town via a couple of caches and the newly released Adventure Labs, before heading back home. Can't wait to return with Chunk one day down the track to explore this town further. It is so good to see the caches here to show us around too. A nice quick find at GZ here - TFTC lorigus74
I was just doing the last stage of the new AdLab when I saw this cache was not too far away. I had run into Robmc and didn't need much encouragement to pop over to grab this one.
I was so glad this wasn't in the park like I initially thought. There were kids everywhere. Got my bearings and found the hide easily enough.
A quick find today with Skullracing and Micaparamedic. We had got into Tatura for the CVGT event with 30mins to waste before the event started so we decided to walk down the street to find it. The trees are looking gorgeous with the Autumn colours. The log was signed by all and replaced. TFTC.
Tatura staying in the RV camp area,We completed the caches that were close to the town This was a great way to visit the area,Thanks lorigus74 for hiding this cache.
Found with Bogonghazy whilst staying at Numurkah for a week. Thanks for placing the geocache
Quick find with LittleBoss2 while heading back to Bendigo. Thanks again lorigus74

Today is Christmas Day. Having spent lunch at the brother in laws, we needed a find whilst in transit to Tatura to have dinner with the in laws, we decided Christmas Day would be a good day to finally finish the Breadcrumb Trail. A quick find was had, and a FP added for an awesome trail. Only 2 days left to fill in the cache calendar now. TFTC Lorigus74.
Headed up for a weekend exploration of the Murray, travelling west from Tocumwal to Koondrook with the kayak on the ready. After the usual Saturday parkrun (this time at Shepparton) it was time to head west to meet The Jacko Crew at Girgagarre. An obligatory bakery stop at Tatura enabled a quick find here. I'll follow a breadcrumb trial to any bakery. Or to a cache. Or to both in 1 go!Thanks, lorigus74.
After the week in Bright it was time to head home to Melbourne... via a longer than normal route so I could find caches in the Greater Shepparton and Campaspe LGAs... the things you do when you get bitten by the "challenges bug"... Now in the Greater Shepparton LGA, it was time to get serious as I wanted at least 13 Finds before leaving... I had managed 9 Finds before lunch so it was now time to start heading towards Campaspe LGA... and finding a few extra caches before getting there. I found this cache exposed with a discard "vap" along side it... I suspect it has been "discovered" by a local muggle. Fortunately nothing had been taken so I was able to recover the Trackable that had been left here. Thanks **lorigus74** for the cache.
The house is being painted, we have an excitable puppy, so we decided to go away for 5 days up to Wakiti near Echuca using our Travel Auctions win. Very good value with lovely owners. Virtually no internet though so catching up with logging now.
This morning we were heading off for a day of caching and water tank or silo hunting in the local area and this cache was next. GMelb dropped JMelb off to check out the Op Shops nd take some photos of Street art whilst he ehaded to this cache. Found after a bit of a hunt

The JAMS team (JJ52 allister w, mogni and sir_spectre) were on a road trip heading to the Rutherglen Mega event (staying in Corowa) for 3 days then winding our way home via Albury, Wangaratta, Bendigo and various other places in between. It was a great week with many more caches found than we expected. There were targeted caches, challenge caches, Ad Labs, events and various others to fulfill various statistics for the four of us. We were lucky with the weather, it rained a bit on our way over on Friday, then half a day after we left Wangaratta but on the whole it was great caching weather. We did drive a few slippery muddy roads, but nothing too bad. We also caught up with lots of people either at events or out in the field and enjoyed many great chats. All in all a fun time with lots of Victoria explored and then very tired when I arrived home. [^]
Today started off wet when we left Wangaratta heading in a round about way to Bendigo finding caches in a different LGA and others that we had targeted, but thankfully the rain stopped around lunch time which was good.
We spent a bit of time caching around Shepparton as we wanted to find at least 20 caches in this LGA.
Thanks for the cache Cybergran V.

Stamped as JAMS - JJ52, alllister w, mogni, sir_spectre. All of these teams are from South Australia and after some major planning we managed to find approx 700 caches while being away for a week. Also qualifiied for a variety of challenges, found LGA's and had lots of laughs. Found while attending the Victorian Mega in Rutherglen.
Thanks
Thanks
The JAMS (JJ52, allister w, mogni and sir_spectre) go mega... We came, we cached, we laughed, we hugged and we had a great time. All caches were replaced better than found. It may have taken one day to get there, but it took us 5 days to get home
Thanks for placing this cache for us to find

Tryiing to get to 20 finds in this LGA. quick find.
Found with JAMS (( JJ52, Allister w, Mogni, plus sir_spectre ) Mitchell&hound wasn't with us this trip) crew. All logs stamped as JAMS to save log space. This trip we are off to the Rutherglen Mega and then slowly coming back to S.A. for a total of 8 dys and 7 nights. The targets of this trip are for JJ52 to get 11 more multi to get to 1000 multi's and a few more Victorian LGA's, Allister W was targeting 17 virtuals ( or as many as he could get ) a few more Victorian LGA's Mogni to make the Rutherglen Mega her 20, 000 find and also for her to complete all Victoria LGA's, sir_spectre needs 1 more multi to get to 1000 multi's and get his Victoria LGS's down to 2 LGA's left. We got 20 or more finds in a LGA if we stayed in there over night. We also detoured to stamp any challenge caches that we were " in the general area off " and to complete that challenge before we came back to S.A. This meant that some times dirt road (s) had to be walked down because they were to wet to drive down and/or haven't been repaired since last years flooding. We started off the holiday in the rain and then that cleared up only to start raining and a overnight thunder storm but most of the trip was dry. Over 600 caches found for the trip including over 120 lab stages in that total. Got to complete the GPS Maze at the Rutherglen Mega for a 2nd time. Allister w was the team driver for all of the Victorian part of the trip. I think this was the first trip ever to Victoria that the extension pole didn't get used but the 6.2 meter ladder did get a work out.

Met up with McLookers in Murchison to grab a few caches and then head up to Tatura for the CITO this evening. After the CITO, McLookers and I grabbed a couple of caches before leaving town and heading home. Thanks lorigus74 for placing this cache and adding to the game board.
Whenever I read the description “beware of wriggling sticks” my heart starts pounding out of its chest. Luckily for me, tonight was a lot cooler and the sticks weren’t moving.
Coordinates were right on target.

#383 Visiting doing our silo/water tower/mural/painted cow tour. Greetings from Sydney.
Heading into the Shepparton area to visit the latest member of our family. I thought I'd try to get a few caches in a new LGA and more in the Shepparton LGA. That new LGA being the "Campaspe Shire Council". Collected a few others on route too. Not as many as we wanted, but didn't have a lot of time.
Son1 found this one very quickly while the rest of us was just walking up to start the search.
Thanks for the cache Lorigus 74

Not been caching much of late so as I was on a work trip to Tatura I decided to try a couple in town. Headed out at lunch time and walked to this one. Searched a few spots before coming up with the goods but as I looked around I had been totally busted by a guy parked in a works van nearby. At this point I just acted all cool and headed off holding the cache as I was worried he would come and look if I replaced it. Came past a couple of hours later when the coast was clear and I was able to return it safely. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackable. Thanks for the cache lorigus74.
In Tat to visit a famous bakery here (highly recommended by the way )
I slipped away wuickly to snaffle this one whilst my Muggle mate waited for his lunch.
A quick find and sign at 12:16 on Tuesday 19 July 2022.
The cache and contents are fine and dry.

Couldn’t sleep so I headed out geocaching! Picked up a few along the way. Watched the sun rise. Not to chilly this morning. Off to the bakery for a coffee! TFTC!
In Tat with my granddaughter (not yet a geocacher but who signed the log anyway). We used to geocache together near her home in Sydney and she loved it. It was nice to have her company again. Thank you for the cache here.
Enjoying some time in Tatura and exploring the town via some geocaches. Really enjoyed the wander around the town early in the morning Didn’t take long to find this one TFTC lorigus74
There must be a lot of these breadcrumb caches about as I spotted another familiar cache on my Tatura explorations today.
All good with your cache.
All good with your cache.
We have been away from home for a few days looking at the NE silo artworks. and looking for a few caches along the way. A short search located the container. Now on to the next silo site. Thanks to lorigus74 for the cache.
No one around today so I made a nice quick find here
Signed and replaced where found TFTC lorigus74

Find #2811 for me. Found at 8:17am with my dog Bonnie after arriving in Tatura for the ANZAC Day event. All was still quiet at this time of the morning, so it was good to get here well before the start of the ANZAC Day service held not too far away. It's been a while since I last found a cache in the fabulous #TBT series so it was nice to continue the journey today with a quick find here and another creative and twisted snack to top it all off! All good at GZ! Thanks for the series and the cache lorigus74, and nice to finally meet you at the event!
It's not often I have time to get out caching these days but today we the sun was shining, time was on our side and another ANZAC Day event was organised. The Central Victorian Get Together events started in 2007 and have run on ANZAC Day for almost every year since then. We've attended all except two.
There was some talk at lunch about wasps at a cache and we were told this was the one. I can report that there were no wasps at this cache -but there were some at another cache
Thank you, lorigus74, for this cache.
#4170. Log signed at 1429Hrs.
