Find number 14580 at 2:37:50pm on Tuesday the 12 November 2024Camping in Daylesford for the next week for a mini family camping reunion over the weekend, I've arrived early to have a look around and do some geocaching.Drove to about 10 meters from hide and found quickly, I don't think muggles would be a problem around here **Thanks for placing this cache lorigus74**---*WOW, so much happening at home in Victoria*Dont forget to log your will attend for Victorias first ever Block Party in March 2025, the [**The Sunbury Event**](https://coord.info/GCAP417).Theres also all those lists of amazing geocaches at [Geocaching Victorias List webpage]( https://geocachingvictoria.com.au/information/great-caching-lists), go check them out.
Took us a bit to find this one. Cant believe we walked past it so many times. Great find on our anniversary weekend away. Dry log. TFTC
A morning walk with the oldest geokid and dog had us here on a new section of he Goldfields Track. It was a quick find and a pleasant walk. Thanks for the fun and adventure.
Lovely puddle to drive through. Lucky we had the 4wd. Quick find by little miss and we did giggle at the panini.
Been to this spot a few times mushroom picking bet never realised there was a geochache here. TFTC, found with the yandoit boys
Day 10 of my interstate trip. Today I left Mount Franklin Reserve making my way north as far as Greens Lake Reserve near Stanhope. I managed to find 11 caches today and 2 DNF's.A slight detour off the main drag for this one.TFTC lorigus74
Made the short walk into GZ and after a very quick look I spotted the geocamo and had the cache in hand! TFTC!!
They don't all jump out and say here I am and this one certainly didn't.The ETrek hated this one and couldn't cope with the tree cover. After going round and round in circles for a lengthy time I gave up and was heading back to the van when I noticed the one thing I hadn't walked past a zillion times. And there was the cache.Pleased that we finally got a smiley here.Thanks.
On my way towards Ballarat. Not aiming on getting there in a day. Lot's of caches to get.
After having a great time at the Lucas event in Ballarat this morning we decided to travel home on the road less traveled and try and grab a few caches and ad labs along the way.We are looking forward to one day doing this whole trail but today we had to satisfy ourselves with just doing one as that is all time allows us today. We stopped and wandered off to gz and caching with the phone we had a little bit of trouble with the tree canopy. When the GPS did finally settle the cache was right where it was pointing. We added our name to the log book and then returned everything as it was. Sadly the cache had no gold in it so we didn't find any of that but happily we didn't find any wiggly sticks either so we will call that a win. Thanks again longus74 for the hide.
Tftc lorigus74. The wedding last night over and done with, and rest under the belt. Off to Mt Franklin for some early morning solitude but what a surprise when I got there!Nevertheless the hundred or so campers were still snoozing so at least my tramp up and around the old volcano was quiet. Dropped by to pick up this one.Showing 9 m from gz so quite a bit of time wandering around. log in good condition.
Misty rain had just started to fall as we found the cache and hide both doing well thank you
Quick find on the way past. Log was signed and I was on my way.
Thanks lorigus74...cache all good.
Thanks lorigus74...cache all good.
Nice, quick easy find very interesting Centre mailboxes just a little note please be careful when wrapping up logbook as there is a hole in the bag and place it carefully so it doesn’t get wet
Out and about with Mrs trouble exploring the area. We decided to venture of the highway to make the find. After putting the new caching mobil thru the mud puddle we quickly had the cache in hand. The navigation was slightly out thou my keen eye quickly had the cache in hand despite my phone saying I was 17m off.
Found on a drizzly day. I was relieved I didn't have to drive through the big puddle west of GZ. Cache is in pretty good condition considering the wet weather. Container had some water in it but I got most of it out. SL. TN. L a pencil. Took some photos of nearby fungi. Thanks for the cache lorigus74. I appreciate your hiding this cache for us to find.
Find # 12470
A Sautrday Caching trip. After other plans were cancelled.
Last cache for my day as darkness has decended and torch is at home.
Using the phone torch ( about as good as 2 candles) I managed to locate this one neatly tucked away in its hide.
That it for today.... I'll have to make another trip this way as there is still more on my map to find.

Find No. 4095. Found at 6.00pm.
Today we had footy at Trentham, so we left early to grab a few caches on the way. Geodog Penny came with us for an outing.
First up we went into a reserve to grab the four caches in there. Made a detour at Franklinford to grab the two caches in that area.
Mrs Tyred n Cranky dropped Mr Tyred n Cranky off at the footy ground in Trentham, then her and Geodog Penny went for a look around the township. After that we drove out to Springhill way to grab two out there. Back into Trentham and done the Adventure Lab before returning to the footy ground to collect Mr. Tyred n Cranky. Then on our way home we made a short detour to grab this cache - our final one for the day as it was now getting dark and the rain had settled in.

Heading to Newstead for some cache maintenance this morning, we took the opportunity to seek this cache out to earn our “International Geocaching Day2022” souvenir.
Once at GZ the obvious signs were spotted so we were able to make a quick find. Signed the log or was it a loaf ? A nicely themed cache.
Thanks lorigus74 for the placement.

Thanks for the hide here.
Thanks for the hide here.
Nice little hide, found after the GPSr mucked a bit around under the tree cover.
Nice to be out caching on a public holiday!
On the way out we spotted a large white bucket which looked suspiciously like another geocache, but to our disappointment it was just full of water…..too close any rate. What were our geocaching brains thinking!!!!
TFTC which is another themed container, just in time for a late morning tea.

Find #2591 for me. Found at 9:15am with my dog Bonnie while on our way to Ballarat to visit Mum. Well I didn't find any gold here but good coordinates led me straight to the well-stocked cache! Thanks for another very creative cache in this fun series lorigus74!

A pretzel, biscuits, bread rolls, cake, panini and lastly a Toast! We gathered all the Bread Crumbs on our homeward journey from the Goulburn Valley to the Bellarine. What an amazing series, so well set up and presented, the back roads were familiar to us, it gave the drive a very special flavour.
PS Is there a special treat for being first to complete the series?
Thanks lorigus74 for creating this tasty series.

On my way from Bendigo to Ballarat this afternoon and noticed this one was on our way. I convinced the part time cacher husband to pull over and we made the find. Thanks for placing.
Out and about this morning with Motndarg, we noticed that there was a newly published cache. The rain had stopped so we were on our way. We pulled up near GZ and began our search. Before long we found the well themed cache and we were pleased to find a blank log. {FTF} at 9.15am. Thanks lorigus74, we are really looking forward to finding more in this series. A favourite from me.
Early start today with McLookers hoping for a FTF. A bit foggy but fortunately no rain. Arrived at GZ and soon found the cache which had a blank log - wowee a joint FTF. Thanks lorigus74 for placing, this one has been given a favourite .
