After two snake encounters this morn I am a lil jumpy...bike chain at gz made me jump...haha...thanks for another smiley face
Out exploring the area and enjoying a walk along the river. Totally amazed by the evidence of how high the flood must have been.
After the Tatura event, I took the deadly treadly to The Flats in Shepparton-Mooroopna.I had ridden some of these when they first came out, but had not come back for the newer ones.Today was the day. A lovely mild day for a ride. All the tracks and trails were dry, although the thistles were head high.I initially park the car near Little and Cemetery Roads intersection and unloaded the bike.I ride clockwise around to #47, then went back to the car for lunch. In the afternoon I moved down to the other end of Cemetery Road to try the eastern caches.A lot of walking to get to some of the caches. Thanks for this series, Robmc.
12:46A couple of days in Shepparton, gave the caravan a run put us close to the Central Victorian Annual Get Together on Thursday.Weather today was great, we spent a substantial part of the day looking for the hiddden gems. An amazing amount of work has gone into producing this series, most of which were cleverly hidden and had fresh logs after the floods. The trails took us on an interesting and sometimes challenging bike ride.A BIG thank you to the CO who placed this series of caches.36894
Found with LittleBoss2 on our way to a week in Numurkah. Thanks again The Blind Side for another great cache in this beaut area
Found with Bogonghazy whilst heading to Tocumwal. Quick find. Thanks for placing the geocache
Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. In Shepparton for a few days as we wend our way towards Canberra for the GeoBash. Today we decided to explore how far we could take the GeoCruiser exploring the Moor-Shepp Hidden Gem Trail. Boy the flooding has made a mess of the tracks in here. Those we tackled we were able to drive to within 150mts today.TFTC The Blind Side [^]
Beautiful afternoon.
Loving the bush bashing, driving around through puddles.
Almost to 300! A few to go.

With the floodwaters between Shepparton and Mooroopna beginning to recede I expect most if not all of the Moor-Shepp Hidden Gem Series caches to either be washed away or full of water so I am disabling all until I've had the opportunity to inspect and replace. This may take some months as the area is still not accessible and there are 48 to check.
Have a 50th Birthday in Shepp so decided to make a weekend o it and grab some caches. The wetness of the day didn't stop us from finding this one although our feet are a bit wet. TFTC
This is my 2nd bite at this "Moor-Shepp Hidden Gem" Series during my stay at Shepparton with a Life-Long Bestie for about 6 weeks. 17 hides added to my grab in a planned loop, today
The day was still and cool not icy and windy
I love this tree-forest walk as it is a pleasant way to build up my daily step-count with no Muggles to be a hinderance, if you don't count the birds
I started at M-SHG #27 through to #39 then across to #23 - #26.
Pls note: all caches were in good condition and their log books were dry
Cache #39 was found and logged at 12:00 on Thursday the 28th of July 2022.

Another trip into the Shepp/Moor bushland to fill another day in the calendar. Number 39 is the number today….woof….Ang Christou. The crowd went woof when Ang went long with his raking left foot. I could be back tomorrow for another find if I have time. TFTC The Blind Side
Headed out to do some geocaching after dropping geoboy @pokemon card game in shepparton. This geomum is on here own and I'm not complaining. Cache and log in good order. TFTC off to the next one.
After finding something which I thought was the cache I quickly realised it wasn’t then found I was just a little off track.

Staying overnight with a friend in Shepparton but it seemed a good idea to visit this area beforehand. Drove in via Little Road and then walked as I wasn’t too sure if the road conditions with the recent rains. On foot it was easy to dodge the puddles and savour the scenery. All caches were easily found Another quick find TFTC The Blind Side

Many thanks The Blind Side for providing and maintaining this game piece for our enjoyment.
This was the first of our two caches for all the twos Tuesday. A nice pretty straightforward find. The road in was dry so not too many concerns.
All in good nick here.

We were in the Shepparton area today, spending quality caching time with Liz & Bruce and Hans & Linda. This area has changed a lot since we were last in the area, a lot rougher indeed. SL TFTC
TFTC. We are staying on the are for a few days prior to the mega in Wangaratta. Teaming up with Liz and Bruce and muff1 we spent the day exploring around the area caching as we went.
We stayed flexible with our caching plans. We headed down to the flats to,try our luck we were driving. Parts of the track were ok but some were not passable in the car. We did what we could without damaging anything.

Thanks for arranging and hiding. We are enjoying exploring the area and completing the series.
#4770 A quick trip across to Shepp today to walk a few more of this series with the geohounds. We managed 10 finds and 6kms exercise before pulling the pin due to heat and hunger.
Last one for the day and a very enjoyable loop walk completed. Did not encounter one muggle on our travels. Very peaceful too. TFTC and fun today The Blind Side.

Joint {FTF} with catnap777 and Cybergran V at 2:42pm
After waiting for locus cache and Kernalcache to emerge from an FTF hunt in the forest, we followed them to Dookie and up Mt Major as they had aquired a key for the gate at the bottom. Mum had been wanting to see the top of that hill for a lot longer than her legs would allow her to hike it.
We all trampled a few daisies together before parting company where Cybergran V catnap777 and I headed for home while locus cache and Kernalcache wandered off for a few more finds.
After a spot to eat and a cuppa, I noticed the last three new FTF's were still up for grabs. [:o] How could this be [?]
They no longer are.
I fun drive through this very interesting and challenging area soon fixed that.
TFTC's The Blind Side, I think it is fair to say that mum, cat' and I have all had a most rewarding day. [^]
Thanks also to locus cache for leaving us a few scraps.

Joint {FTF} with dalerious and Cybergran V @1442hrs. Wow, we were not expecting to find these caches unfound this late in the day. The sun was well and truly over the yard arm and as we were detained on another adventure with our geocaching buddies locus cache , Rex and kernal cache , these newbies were not on our " to do list" for today, anyway. We came home from the hill, had lunch and dalerious had a peep at the app to see that ftf was still up for grabs. Back in the car, and off we trott. Thank you again The Blind Side for providing caches to keep us locals content .
Joint *FTF* with catnap777 and dalerious.
We ignored these when they came up this morning as we had already planned to drive to the top of Mt Major with locus cache and Kernal Cache. It was a beautiful morning, we achieved what we intended, came home and had lunch.
Then dalerious opened the app and said three of these were still up for grabs, catnap777 told me to get my bum in the car, and here we are.
A glorious day for a drive in the forest but some of the wheel ruts full of water are very intimidating. However we managed to get to this one.
Let’s see how we go negotiating the road to the next one…..
Thanks The Blind Side for the fun.
