Love these entrance signs, shows pride in the town. Love them even more if theres a chance of finding a cache as well. TFTC crane2
Found log and the lid so we replaced the container with a larger one but the only one we had.TFTC
Robmc and I are staying in town to do mostly OYB, but some others too. After our second day out west, we came back a bit early and did some of the ones in Loxton. Thanks for this one, it was a quick find.
Found by The Empire + HWe started our journey early, leaving Loxton behind as the sun began to rise over the Murray River, casting a soft glow on the water. The quiet town was still waking up, and as we packed up and hit the road, there was a sense of peacefulness in the crisp morning air. Driving through the streets of Loxton one last time, we passed the familiar sightsthe riverbank, the old gum trees, and the charming main street that had become part of our trip's routine. A quick find then we were off! Thanks for the cache crane2.-M
Thank for your cacheI was starting to feel a bit stupid as so many findsJust as turned around to leave I was on the right angle and found it
TFTC. With JLWE 2024 in Lameroo finished we headed to the Riverland for a couple days of caching before heading home.Happy caching and safe travels!
Walking home from an even night, stopped by the sign to look for my first cache. Very fun, will do again

Sedan to BerriStaying at Martin Bend for a few days, a lovely coolbreeze comming off the water. An AL in all the neighbouring towns & caches to find as we pass them by.This was a great way to visit the area.Good hint made for a quick find. Thanks crane2 for hiding this cache.
I have checked the cache is in position. Please note the hint has changed so if you are using an old GPX file you may be looking in the wrong place. I moved it after it went missing for the second time.
After feeling around for this one for a little bit we had no luck. Will come and try again on another visit!
Found in rain. What a adventure! . crane2, thank you so much for placing it for everyone to enjoy and highlighting this area.
After completing our target caches in the On Your Bike series, we returned to Loxton to look for a few caches before heading to Renmark. This was one of the caches in Loxton.
Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find of a well presented cache. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks crane2 for the cache.

*Another big geocaching trip to Australia with woolwood9.*
Our main focus was on the "On Your Bike" Wherigo series but of course we couldn't resist many stops on the way plus other good trails!
**Really appreciate the effort put into this cache.**

Our last day in Loxton today so we headed out to add some more smilies. Some interesting and historic places Geocaching took us today.

Time to head for home but not without some serious geocaching on the way, with Jolly0.
Jolly0 took our stamp and logged this one for us, while we returned to our accommodation to retrieve a more important cache, Peas had dropped her house keys on the way out. Thanks to chasing caches, the owner rang us before we left Loxton. TFTC crane2

Thank you for having us Loxton and giving us some sunny days to cache.
After an adventurous weekend with Peas&CarrotsForever, travelling to two other states in a day for a couple of special events, it’s time to head home.

I headed North today to attend the 3 states events this weekend. I thought I would stop and stretch the legs here along the way and have a coffee from the thermos I packed this morning.
The cache was very easy to find. I signed the logbook & placed it back as found...

Easy find, common hiding place in these signs, don’t accidentally click the hint, it just tells you the answer
Day six of our short South Australian trip with BettyBoo3747 and the geo-doggies.
A nice day, so we unloaded the deadly treadlies and rode around Loxton to some mixed results.
That is a sizable hill out off the river flats to the town.
Towns have been doing quite interesting welcome signs these days.
It is good, it make it look like the town cares about what people think of them.
Thanks, Robmc.

#18953. Day 6 of our Vic/SA trip with Robmc the geodogs and our bicycles. With the day dawning bright and sunny as we had hoped we continued with our plan for this to be a full riding day around town with the doggies in tow. Mind you the wind was bitterly cold most of the day. Some history and some great views along the river. Apart from the smilies and the AdLab we had a couple of DNFs and a couple unattempted.
Town entrances have certainly gone up several notches in the past years. This is certainly a very nice addition and thanks to the hint we made a relatively quick find and sign and continued on to the Sale Yards.

Staying in Renmark for a short holiday, caching around where we travel. Touring around a few towns today and picking up caches along the way. 24 were found today, this cache was one of them.
Find #4483 on 21 Jul 2022.
TFTC crane2!

Another cache found with richlink on our 2022 South Australian Adventure.
We set out this perfect, sunny winter's day to tick off another batch of caches in the "On Your Bike" series and any other cache along our route today. Our thanks to SAGEO_5 for the enormous effort that went into creating and maintaining these caches.

Today we made our way to Loxton for a few nights camping over Easter in the river land, with a late start to the day we didn’t stop by many caches.
We stopped by this one though, great to get a photo with the town sign, a quick find and cache is all good

Decided to take a tour of Loxton before heading back home today .
Kind of ironic that we did this one on our way out of town .
Nice hide . TNLNSL.
Thanks again Crane2.

Due to the weekend weather forecast for high winds, I had to cancel my planned kayaking trip at the Corong.
At short notice I decided to head to Loxton instead.
The wind was blowing for most of the weekend but thankfully the mild temperatures made for a good haul of finds in and around Loxton.
Quick find here thanks to the provided hint.
Thanks for the cache crane2.

TFTC. We had headed back into town after a morning caching. As this was our last day in the area we decided to find a few more around town.
A short day for us today but we did cover a load of miles, we nearly ended up back in Victoria. We rectified a DNF from a few years ago, and added 2 DNF's so two blue faces to replace the one we managed to change into a smily face.
More heat, flies and dust and roads that we have not traveled before showing us more of this great brown land that we live in, but we did enjoy our day overall. It really hits you in the face making you realise how hard life was for our pioneers.
