Took a while to solve the coordinates ( well longer than it shouldof) Gps behaved for a change. Storeyteller made a quick find. Found also with Wshoeii. Tftc and puzzle
On this Saturday, we spend few hours driving around Warragamba to start switching this WGA into a nice geoart full of smiles.
Once all the clue in our hands we went to GZ for a quick find.
TFTC and thanks for this geoart.
Once all the clue in our hands we went to GZ for a quick find.
TFTC and thanks for this geoart.
Spent a few hours clearing out some of the Warragamba caches.
Found 14 in total, all by The Booos or Booo Booo. Mostly puzzle caches (solved a while ago) and multis, with one wherigo and one adventure lab, no traditionals. I feel like I found more with all the locations these caches took me to, including some new areas of Warragamba / Silverdale.
There were a couple of times I was glad I was with a muggle friend who could reach a bit higher than me.
This one took a bit of re-counting, and trial and error to find the right combination of numbers.

In Warragamba today to continue seeking The Booos Warragamba GeoArt series. This was the first of the series we visited last year. It our counts were out for two of the items, Some help from the CO set us straight and today we visited GZ. It wasn’t too hard to find the container but it was very hard to open. We used a couple of TOTTs to loosen it. Perhaps the last finder had screwed it shut too tightly, all good now. SL TFTC Cheers… Gaztek
Went to the event this morning and this was the first one we looked for after the chat time. Having acquired some handy info it was a quick and easy find. Pleased to add another multi to the list. TFTC.
After the local event today we came along with a couple of other cachers to find this well hidden cache. The numbers had been gathered previously and gave a good result today. Cache was in good order and all signed the log. Thanks go to The Booos for putting this cache into play.
This was a fun multi, and we enjoyed collecting the information.
Again, a trip to Specsavers is probably in order for us again as we still had one number in disagreement.
A quick message to the CO soon had that sorted, and we immediately got a green light.
It was a short drive to GZ, to a very peaceful and scenic area where we signed the log, before continuing our adventures to the dam.
Thanks The Booos.

Out for an afternoon of caching with Steeba, Wilbert67 and The Rats. Aiming for a number of solved puzzles and various stops in between across the Wollondilly.

Headed out for a days caching with my fellow Gong gangster buddies.
We targeted many of the caches around the Warragamba area which involved many solved puzzles.
We had great success for the day, thanks to all CO’s for your hides and thanks to my caching buddies for a great day

A nice day out caching with the Gong Gangsters- The Rats, Hoojar, Wilbert67 and myself around the Wollondilly region.
Plenty of puzzles solved before leaving home and a variety of finds.
We did some calls and did them again but checker didn’t agree. We went to our GZ and thankfully soon had CIH.

Nice multi, but the log sheet was extremely wet, all I could do is mark the sheet without damaging it
Got numbers quickly with dog. Easy find at gz. Signed and replaced. Fav point. Tftc

After the Geocaching NSW event I drove on to Warragamba to find a few caches from the WGA series with Brewmaker and Everest High.
An easy find after finishing my ice cream!

Thanks to all the Booo's for making my day... I have been solving a lot of their puzzles and today was the day for a caching raid on them . Thanks also to the wonderful SueDan83's for chauffeuring and giving me such a wonderful day when I needed it... your generosity warms my soul and has helped me immensely. Oh and I also got some of Sue's Cherryripe biscuits and got to use Dan's "squid catching" pole... woohoo!... fantastic day. Sorry for the generic logs but it was a long day... 53 finds, 4 DNF's and surprisingly 2 FTF's. So a HUGE thanks to all the CO's for giving back to this wonderful game.
Find #19 of 21 on a most enjoyable day of caching around Luddenham, Warragamba and Silverdale.
I am so blind sometimes! I needed to count and recount a few times but eventually got the numbers right. I was very excited to see a kangaroo about 100m down the track from me at GZ! A very nicely hidden cache too. TFTC!

I am terribly behind in my logging. It's getting close to five months since I regularly reported on the caches I've found. YIKES! Well, at least I'm currently only 3 months behind.
To be honest, while I still find searching for caches fun, I'm finding logging less so. But I have to log to get me stats and souvenirs, so...
In this time only the Adventure Labs found and my First2Finds have been written up - don't want people racing out when it's already been snaffled.
But I've been busy finally getting ready to move into our new house - now in and I'm still coming to terms with the extra room/rooms!
But I did still try to find time to cache on the days that my 2022 goal of 16 finds per caching day demanded I find something. In fact, for the most part my modus operandi has been to actually aim for 20. So far I've only failed on that a few times, and only by 1 find. Amazingly I'm on track for 19 finds per day, but somehow I expect that will eventually prove too hard as I have to travel a good distance if I want more than a cache a day.
Anyway. thanks to all the CO's who are getting short shrift from my generic logs. I hope to eventually get back to them and flesh them out, but no promises.
I've found some fun Traditionals and solved some interesting, but not impossible puzzles. And Multis and other cache types have been grabbed where possible.
###END OF GENERIC ABJECT GROVELLING SECTION###
Out to Luddenham and Warragamba for some calendar finds today. Plenty of solved puzzles were just waiting to be found!
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Any cache specific comments will be added here. Don't hold your breath, though.

Couldn't get the checker to agree with me after a number of possible combinations. Went to GZ anyway and managed to find it. TFTC
Woe is me... after this cache, I think I need to knock off for the day First off, my counting wasn't up to scratch but at least the CO was kind enough to point me in the right direction so that I could get the OK from Certitude.
My woes continued once I got to GZ ... first up, I think I used one of the possible coords I'd worked out rather than the right one. Then, while I was in the throes of looking in and around the trees/bushes at my GZ, my reading glasses (prescription ones no less) fell out of my pocket without me realising. I mounted a search once I realised but unfortunately, it didn't bring them to light.
I did at least find the cache though ... after reading some past logs I found it much closer to where I had parked in a fairly stock standard location. My woes weren't howerver over ... the cache camo was smashed to pieces presumably by kids. Luckily, though, the innards were still intact and I was able to sign the logbook before rehiding the cache in a new container I had in my car.
Thanks for a nice multi Booos, even though the find is going to cost me a couple of hundred dollars for a new pair of glasses. Oh well, c'est la vie.

Out with oldmorty to find a few more of The Booos caches.
Found after a lovely lunch nearby.

I think this was the longest I spent on a cache today! A bit over 30 minutes in the end, worth the fun though. I'm looking to increase my multicache count but not my mystery cache count so this was a priority, sadly the rest of the WGA will have to wait for another day.
I parked across the road and made my way to the waypoint. One person in the pool - great, try not to look weird standing here. I got all of my numbers, including options for three of them, then sat down on one of the benches to work out the possible combinations. Certitude didn't like any of them so I checked my counts. Nope, all correct there. A look through the logs indicated that more expert geocachers than me have asked the COs for help, so I thought I may as well do likewise. I sent off my numbers for verification.
A rapid reply indicated that my numbers were right and also gave me the final coordinates - which I couldn't get with those numbers! It turned out that the puzzle may need an update but at least I was underway with my mathematical pride probably intact.
At the final coordinates there was little doubt about where to look and I soon had the cache in hand. Looks like one Booo was being a bit of a CAD around Halloween-time! The thomo31 path tag was still there, I would have collected it if I hadn't been very kindly given one by the owner a few weeks ago.

We have travelled from Sydney’s Northern Beaches to Emu Plains for a short four day caching holiday, staying in a park cabin at the Ingenia Nepean River BIG4 Holiday Park at Emu Plains, and are planning to explore around Emu Plains and the areas between Castlereagh and Warragamba. Will be concentrating our efforts on collecting the Penrith geoart caches and the Warragamba geoart caches, most of which we have managed to solve before leaving home, and also hoping to complete a new local Adventure Lab that has appeared since our last visit to the area. May also collect some solved “Band Caches” puzzle caches, and “Suburbs of Penrith LGA” traditional caches, that we happen upon during our travels. This was our 15th find of the day (day 3), and 56th find of the holiday.
This one was next, and we stood at the posted coordinates and made our observations. Checked the calculated coordinates, but they were incorrect. Had a closer look and realised our silly error which, after correction, gave us a green light.
At final GZ the cache was a quick find of yet more nice 3D stuff. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. TFTC The Booos.

After solving some of the easier puzzles in the WGA Geo Art series morty8888 and I ventured west to seek out the hides. After unsuccessfully solving this one earlier in the day morty8888 messaged the CO'S who soon advised us where we were going wrong. With agreement with the checker we headed off to gz to commence the search and after a few minutes had the CIH thanks to the CO's who turned up and pointed us in the right direction.

Oldmorty had generously solved some of the caches in this Geo Art series so we headed west. This was the only one that we stumbled with today. Crunched numbers but couldnt get a green light. Contacted COs who were quick to respond so off we headed to GZ where we were greeted by the COs. Found, signed and enjoyed a quick chat before off to lunch. TFTC and help along the way!
We came, we saw, we counted. Then counted again to get the checker to agree. Quick find at GZ. TFTC
Found with WaywardWoman while caching in Warragamba. The multi was a bit tricky with us having to look closer at a few questions.
Another cute container that fitted a pathtag! Signed log and returned as found. TFTC

#6063- With the crap reception on my phone I got home to realise the last 11 of my logs had not stuck and I had to redo them - grrr….
This multi caused thomo31 and I a bit of grief getting the checker to give us something viable. Your eyesight really gets tested with these ones, but we got there in the end. Loved the container too- a favourite from me.

Out for an assault on the WGA series on a perfect afternoon. Was joined by Mr. Canary for the afternoon. What do you get when you mix purple and yellow - apparently brown.
We struggled with our observations, but received some very kind help from the CO. Made a quick find of a lovely little halloween icon.

A few of us had worked through most of these but this one had to wait for a trip. MummyPenny was up for another country drive and this was our first stop. A couple of numbers fought back; those babies aren't obvious. Off we went and MP spotted the likely hide yielding the cute container. Thanks The Booos.
After a couple of attempts at counting we made our way to GZ for a quick find.

We had a great day walking and touring around this quiet town. A great variety of puzzles and cache types. A very enjoyable day despite the weather coming in earlier than predicted. However, we were prepared and made sure that we dried our hands with a towel and sheltered the logsheets under an umbrella when SL. This was another well made cache container. TFTC
