3rd of 11 found today.Came and saw and made sure I checked out Ranger Alex's entry. Cool when they do that. Have asked FFP, who works in the same directorate, to say thanks if she runs across Alex.****The condition of the cache is - good. ****TFTC NoaLeRoux and the shoop shoop.
The Canberra Grassland Earless Dragon, otherwise known as Bidjiwang, is a small lizard found at higher, cooler altitudes than most earless dragons.None of these were spotted today.Maybe they saw me? I'm not quite sure.Ranger Alex would have spotted me if I was round a few days prior, evident by his signature on the logbook.Props for playing along! Thanks for placing this cache NoaLeRoux!
Another beautiful blue sky day in Canberra and I was stuck working indoors. At some point I bailed to at least have a last hour of sunlight outside and do some caching and walking. Whitlam was an the aganeda, a few new caches here and only a short drive away. This was my 2nd cache but first find. Park in the new bit of the suburb and made the short walk in and found the cache with good coords quickly. I could swear I had found a cache here already, but it might have been an old one in the same place. Thank you NoaLeRoux for putting the cache out, maintaining it and contributing to this great hobby we have. Happy trails, Flintstone's
Another great spot and walking trail area .Well hidden and a nice size as well .Thanks to DRT .
A quick find by the geokid. Had lost its camouflage so we did our best to hide it from muggles.
Found on a nice casual stroll around the Namarag reserve: a new area for us.

Thanks for bringing us to the Namarag Nature Reserve - we had a lovely wander around the area.
Cache 9470 on 20 Dec 2022.
Headed out to Amarang Reserve this morning before work to attend the Community celebration event hosted by Cankid. It was my first time past Butters Bridge so happy to collect a few other caches while in the area!
While doing the AL, I wandered up to this cache for any easy find.
Thanks NoaLeRoux for the cache and the fun!

I picked this cache up on my way back to the car today after attending the nearby event. Cool location and neat hide. Thanks for hiding this cache NoaLeRoux
Found whilst in the area for the CC event. Lovely to wander through the play area and see it up close. Quick find at GZ. TNLNSL. TFTC NoaLeRoux!
Yesterday was sunny and beautiful, but today has been rainy, windy and quite cold. We decided to brave the cold and come for a walk.
Last time we visited this area, it seemed to be a bridge to nowhere. Nice to see there is now a reserve placed here for the people.
We signed the log and continued our walk.
Thanks NoaLeRoux

# 8224 Out today with iPlod65 to check out this new area. Although it's early days, we were quite impressed by the scale of this new area. We will watch with interest in years to come.
A quick find here.

So windy out here today! Nice kid friendly cache. Find number 50 for us. TFTC
My goal was to cache in Namarag reserve, and looking at the map the easiest way looks from Whitlam via pipe flat track. In Whitlam that proved a fruitless task, as I didn’t realise that there was easy parking at Namarag carpark which then lead north to butters bridge (never knew that existed) and onto Namarag reserve. Once I had figured that out the rest was plain sailing, and caches and AL found.
Lovely day, lovely cache.

#2307 A surprisingly quiet afternoon allowed DeadThief and I to collect this cache without being bothered by any non caching folk. Thanks NoaLeRoux for the cache.
Back in Canberra for a stint. Best catch some caches, old and new. TFTC.
A quick grab while Noikmeister distracted the muggles telling them all about caching.

A quick find with such a good hint. I haven't been out here since they started developing this.

A fast find while in the area. The log is wet and gross. Maintenance needed. TFTH
Cache was open and strewn about. Did my best to replace but it's quite wet . Beautiful area
An early morning jaunt out to the newly opened Namarag. The park looks incomplete, very little shelter/seating and zero picnic facilities. The recent rains have washed many paths partially away as well. Maybe in another 12 months it would be good to visit. That said there was plenty of signage with historic and cultural information, and, with the whole site to myself (it’s huge), it was a nice wander around. I was there for about 90 minutes and as I was leaving it started to rain. Then the storm came over and that was that. Butter Bridge is always good to cross though. Cache sighted quickly, hope it lasts. TNLNSL TFTC
A quick find in this beautiful new area. I don’t have a pen so not able to sign the log. TFTC.
What a great new park, once it is established should be really nice place to visit. Molonglo River at Coppins Crossing was just below the crossing level. TFTC.
A great nearby play ground. I will be brin back the family to this one for a fun explore.
Nice little container. I'll be watching the story a little later this afternoon.
Thanks for the cache.

Cache found all safe and tucked away. Cute lizard, and even cuter concept, made me smile. Lovely situation, at the edge of an interactive play area. Great location. TFTC
Very busy when I first arrived but nice and quiet once I'd completed the nearby adventure lab. Thanks for the cute cache.
All quiet at this new development which helped to make for a quick find. TFTC DRT

Despite the rain, I needed to get outside and find a few caches. This looked like an interesting place to come. I'd seen from a distance that some work was being done, but didn't know it was going to be a new reserve. An enjoyable wander this morning. Cache easily found. TFTC.

A few days caching in the ACT and surrounds with Steeba, Wilbert67 and The Rats, another trip away like countless others that we have done before. We got the dates, we did the planning, we worked out a route. But there was one thing that we could not plan for; the weather.
The caches were excellent. The company faultless. The weather; atrocious. Rain, rain, rain. And then more rain. On several occassions we had to change our intended route, abandon plans, and even came home a day early. Alas, the rain had been predicated, but we had hoped it would stay away.
Please forgive the boiler-plate log, I assure you it is no reflection on the caching experience of our few days away. Thank you to all cache owners for their hides.
Cheers

Our first post-lockdown caching run with steeba, Hoojar and Wilbert had been planned for months and whatya know it - we forgot to let the weather gods know our plans. NSW experienced torrential rain and chilling winds across most of the state, but that didn't stop us.
Friday's weather wasn't any better than the previosu day so we concocted a new plan that said trekking around Canberra grabbing LAB caches and a smittering physical hides.
This park should really good when its fully developed.

After struggling on the very wet dirt roads last night and with much more rain coming today we decided to change plans and hit for Canberra, hoping to do caches suitable for rain and also picking some adventure labs. Slow progress today. Great times with the Rats, Hoojar and Steen's.

Neither one of us felt like working today so we decided to take the day off and take the bikes and go out for a ride.
Probably would have been safer today staying home and working. But these things happen.
Lovely place down this way and it will look great once everything has grown and some really good looking sculptures here too.
Thanks for the hide NoaLeRoux

I have been watching this area develop with interest over the past two years as I have walked past on both sides of the river. There has been a huge effort here and I am sure it will be even better once the new trees have had a chance to grow a bit. I managed the four physical caches and the five Lab caches today on a bight sunny morning with a few other people walking around the site.
Thanks for the cache NoaLeRoux

#12435 - 11:54:00 AM; After catching up with an old mate for morning coffee, I was about to head for home when I got a call from Sol de lune about a caching mission around the newer areas in Molonglo. Started the mission rectifying a couple of recent DNFs for Sdl in Denman Prospect, then collected a couple more in the area before heading across the river to the new Namarag Park to start the adventure lab and collect some newer caches in the area, along with a couple of older ones for me. Wrapped up the mission with a few more older caches for me in Holder, Duffy and Rivett. All up eleven caches and an AL for me today. All caches were found in good order and returned as found after the logs were signed. Hope this one goes the distance once the area becomes a bit more well known and more junior muggles infiltrate the park! TFTC NoaLeRoux
What an awesome new nature reserve! Can't wait to see how it develops in the future as nature starts to set in, and it gets a few more visitors!
The new coordinates are great, and very much appreciated! We had no trouble locating the cache which was of high quality and a bit of extra effort gone into it's design!
Thanks for bringing us here!

Easy find today. Signed dsd or Darksidedan or AB or Adventure Boys to save space in the logbook thanks for the cache and the adventure.
Out with LuckyL10n to grab a few caches and help fill the calendar. Have watched from afar as this area was worked on and it was good to get up and personal today with a visit. No problems with finding the cache and yep, good work on the container. Always like it when someone goes in with a little more effort. Log was signed and we headed off to another new-ish one.
Thanks for the reason to visit NoaLeRoux....

An opportunistic catchup with a caching buddy after dropping the youngest GeoTeen at the pool targeting some of these newer caches.
A nice quick find here, thanks NoaLeRoux.

A late afternoon catch-up with a caching colleague to pick up a few new caches in the short period of time we both had available. Really surprised that it didn’t rain the whole time.
Congratulations on your first hide. Love the lizard and the effort put into the lid. I’ve been caching nearly ten years and I’m yet to put a cache out - certainly something to think about. Well done! Quick and easy find at GZ. TFTC NoaLeRoux

An interesting *FTF* with Dty73 and Aquilus1
We did a quick search of GZ before splitting up to look further afield figuring something had gone wrong with the coords. After a few minutes a shout from AQ1 "found it" Wow 70m out... Also interesting to me is that this park only opened to the public from today so how a cache was hidden in the closed park does raise a couple of questions.
Otherwise a nice looking cache which I can see some effort has gone into. Hope it lasts.

Rookies and their mistakes are no match for Aquilus1 who found the cache 70m away from GZ.
The container is very cute and it’s nice to see some effort put into it. I look forward to seeing this new area in daylight hours. Thanks for highlighting this spot. Tftc NoaLeRoux!!!

Love new caches and great when new people hide them, coords are an art but do need to be correct. Still, even in the dark by torchlight we found this quite quickly despite it being a fair way out.
Once we got to GZ and there was nothing really there we split up and searched. Wasn't to long and I found it about 70m away. DRT took closer coords to share.
Congratulations on your first cache amd it does look like someone has had fun making this one. Looking forward to returning to this reserve during daylight hours and more time than our FTF rush... Oh, how great to DRIVE in!!!
Thanks for the cache and look forward to more.
