I do messages in bottles too. Throw them out when there is a big westerly on with a note with my phone No. and E-mail, where it was thrown in and the date. Have about 30 out at the moment over the past 10 years.Got a few back the last one was only a few eeks ago and was thrown in at Woonona and found on a little island off Cairns in the great barrier reef after almost 3 years. I throw a few in at summer time when I am at least 20 kms offshore as the prevailing wind in summer have some east in them and blow them to shore.I particularly like it when the current is running hard out there as they can cover 250 kms in 24 hours, that gets them a long way from home quickly. This was a quick find in a nice spot.TFTCironbark.
Tftc. Great cache! After going to the wrong level first, we about faced and soon had CIH.
Continuing the geo adventure with Loci612 and Toy Hunters to the water's edge for some earth caches, we dropped by this one for a quick look. Signed as SLTs and back to the car onto the next destination! TFTC GE0Joh!
Found with Scaphoid and Loci612 (we signed our initials as SLTs, a sneaky reference to the Heartbreak High reboot). Whilst doing the earthcache, we quickly stopped here for a quick find. Had a fun hum and sing to the song in question whilst walking around on the rocks for this cache and the earthcache, but then started singing another Police song related to rocks (for context, my favourite video on the internet, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GInovXm59Ew). TFTC GE0Joh!
Message in a bottle found, signed accordingly and replaced as found. Nice location, some brave people are swimming in the sea! A bit too cool for me this am! TFTC
Having a short break on the south coast Just trying out our new teardrop camper., Some caching while we're here. Beautiful little spot Thanks for maintaining the cache.
Caching from WA west coast to ACT for 2 megas. TFTC. Took a bit to find this one. Obviously not at gz, so right or left. I tried both and then also poked around straight ahead. Nothing.Checked photos and then found a match. String is now fishing line but I was able to locate it.
The beginning of a morning walk on a rather warm and sunny day. I headed around from the village to this GZ and was soon confronted by a daunting wall of vegetation fronted by a small boggy mush. A look here and a look there was not helping as was the hint. But with a bit of persistence, cache was eventually located.
Reperio 18:53The family and I headed to the South Coast for a couple of days away, which gave us the chance to check out some of the local caches in the area. After enjoying some fish and chips down by the water, I grabbed the youngest and went for a walk to GZ. Fortunately the coast was clear and we were able to quickly retrieve and sign the cache. Enjoyed this location. Gratias GE0JohAs a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV
A quick find on New Year's Day. Some stealth was required due to fishermen on the rocks! TFTC!
Out with muffindough for a late afternoon walk. Very slushy and mushy as we hunted today. Took us a long search. In the end we trusted to coords and then finally spotted the string! Phew. Great to have this cache added to our collection.
Needing a quick streak day find, and with permission from the CO, did a maintenance run to replace this cache. Found the remaining attachment at the obvious GZ (little wet and slippery in places), signed the fresh log and followed the message inside the bottle. Hopefully this one will last a little longer to keep the game in play.
You can't stay much closer to a Geocache than this. The house behind the Geocache is an Airbnb (and a really nice one if you're looking for a place to stay around here). I was looking at doing a spot of Geocaching while staying in the area and was surprised to see I was s close to one! So an easy find that was almost literally in the back yard TFTC
Founded in between rain showers A nice little walk along the rocks To find the message in a bottle
Nice easy find on a cloudy sun rays type of morning.
What a year Sandyofthesea and I have had. We kitted out the Prado and took off from Perth, Western Australia at the start of April 2022 to travel more of Australia using geocaching as a guide to see the sights. We started with the Nullabour, Eyre and York Peninsulas, the Riverlands, visited family in Victoria and then back in SA it got cold. Flinders and the Oodnadatta Track was amazing and we finally warmed up in Dalhousie Springs. The Alice beckoned and then a change of plan and we ended up tackling the Tanami Track to the Kimberley and Bungles Bungles. Territory Day in Darwin was unhinged - please try and do it! The Gulf, the coast and the car breaker ‘Old Tele Track’ to the top of Cape York. This is a must but it’s not easy! Eventually made it to Brisbane to get some fixes to the car….. let’s see where we end up.

Found. TFTC. Stayed around here whilst on holiday from jersey Channel Islands. Such a great view. Loved it
After the recent DNF, I was back in the area. I heard an SOS had been sent out and it had been rescued/fixed, so headed there with EH and MC. Thanks for replacing. TFTC
Thanks for maintaining this cache. Was a fun one to grab after an extensive multi.
Found broken glass but no cache. Not sure what others have found. I was with the FTF and so knew where to look.
Needs checking please. I was with a previous finder but there was nothing to be seen hanging around. Some broken glass, but I'm sure that wasn't the remains of the cache.
I was nearby wandering around amongst the rocks all around the waters edge and decided I'd keep on walking over this way to find this cache. My GPS had me at a pace I really didn't want to dive my hands into but I then read Team Canary's log with the 10.5m northward noted. This helped a lot. I looked that direction and could see the cache already.
I'd noticed a couple of logs mentioned needing a tool to get the log book out. I brought the right tool but it was too slippery to retrieve the log. So I added a new piece of paper with my name on it.
A few things I treasures about this little Walhalla was the crusty salt pools, the orange lichens, and getting right up close with the Pelicans at the first cleaning station, where I noticed for the first time ever that a Pelican's beak is not all pink, but has yellow, blue and purple bits on it.
Thanks for the treasure hunt.

After a great day trip to Wagga on Saturday, Sunday was a diving day at Shellharbour. It was a great dive and I saw some interesting creatures over two morning dives. After a lunch I spent the afternoon caching around the area and on the way back home. There were a few DNFs to slow things down but is was a fun afternoon on a warm sunny day.
I started at the wrong level and had to back around for another try. The log was a nightmare, but marked in the end. At least it is a well themed container.
Thanks for the cache GE0Joh

Tftc great spot for a hide, did not sign cache, couldn't get it out. Sent photo to owner, Paul and Lou
Under torchlight I expanded my search about ten metres to the northeast and made the find. Then after fashioning a tool to get the log out, my pen wouldn’t work and I had to sign with mud and a stick!?!
TFTC.

Compass had us back and forth a couple of times but quickly had it in hand thanks to hubby's sharpe eyes today. TFTC
Second day of a family road trip in NSW and northern Victoria. First night out of Sydney was Shellharbour, and having unpacked the car we decided to stretch the lags and head down the hill to the water. I knew just the spot to walk to.
Took quite a while to get there, no thanks to the ice cream shop and the playground with the flying fox. Eventually we were exploring the rocky outcrop which is always fun, and I had a quick detour to the bushy bank.
Didn’t take long to spot something here. A little bit of effort was required to get the log sheet out of the container, but really liked this themed cache container. Sheet was signed and returned to its container. All is good here with the cache.
Thanks very much for placing this cache GEOJoh. Cheers

OCW GGCoconut and HJBanana. On this beautiful spring day, we have decided to journey south and enjoy hunting down some caches in the fresh air and sunshine around Shellharbour. Well this is a great song and also a great little cache. Pulling up at the nearby carpark, we walked over to the top of the dunes and admired the pod of pelicans gathered on the rocks below before heading down the little track. We enjoyed hopping along the rocks and checking out the rockpools before making our way over to GZ. Loved the cache - super cute! Thanks for bringing us here!
A nice little hide and just love the container. Such a beautiful part of the coast. How good would it be to find a real message in a bottle on the beach. Tftc
Spending a weekend away to chill out with contactpete and UnicornPrincess418.
Went for a walk along the coast and found this cache. Found it but then rookie error in not bringing a pen
Came back after dinner and signed it

The walk out and the surroundings should be enough to bring people here! Then a unique worth while 1.5/1.5? A very nice way to end a short stay down south
Worthy of a favourite point. A classic cache, as the names suggests. TFTC. A beautiful location.

Introduced a friend to hunting Geo this was he's first nice and easy the hint gives away
Great idea for a geocache.
Looks like the coastline here took a bit of a battering from the high seas and tides recently. The log inside was a bit damp and swollen making it difficult to extract and replace but should be okay when it dries out.
Many thanks to TheBryantBoys for placing this cache and the adventure.

A straightforward find here today and a nicely designed container. Thanks!
Got called into work late this afternoon, since I was in the area I swung past here to make a quick find.

Ex TC Seth had pushed the tide almost to GZ, thankfully not when I was there today. I hope it doesn’t get muggled, somewhat in plain view. Thanks.
Not quite the very last cache for 2021 but close. A lovely spot with the wind rolling in. TFTC!
A big day in the Illawarra resulting in 20+ finds! Nearly all finds were unique, interesting and in good condition. Thanks to all Cache Owners for their contribution to our enjoyable recreational activity!
A very quick find here after spotting the hide from metres away. TFTC

Great little cache with excellent theming. I've found caches near here before, but this is unique, that's for sure. Favourite point awarded. I won't tell you the lyrics my Dad used to song, it'll ruin the song forever.
