Tftc. Got the Three marbles out quite quickly. So any easy open of lock. Thanks for such an interesting cache design.
arewethere? I found your cache The Beast on 12/2/2024, 2:25pm. This is my find 6394 and find # 10 today. Found the cache easily, now to figure out how to open it. After retrieving a couple of marbles it wasnt long before I had the cache opened. Very cleverly done. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
'Previous cache being muggled.' One has to wonder who would be wandering around in this location. Found the cache OK, now to open it. I was beginning to think I may have lost my marbles after being shaken so much, but I persevered, and remember aq childhood puzzle so tried something a bit more scientific. Unfortunately the endoscope was not much good, and the ground penetrating radar was useless on this one. The x-ray machine was back in the trailer in the carpark and it's not in colour anyway so I had to resort to good old lady luck. Managed to get 2 marbles out, so tried a couple of permutations/combinations on the lock and it opened fairly quickly. All good here, so I added to the log and packed it all up. TFTC, arewethere.
Out for more exercise which hopefully is having some therapeutic effects on my existing condition. I was not however expecting to lose my marbles while out caching. Fortunately, just after New Year i had reason to have to gain entry to a locked power/switch box in a unit I was staying in as the fuse had blown for one of the circuits. Who locks a switch box in a unit, I suspect this is not actually legal and is certainly unsafe. Thanks to Doctor Google I gained access. This was a challenge with 10,000 possible combinations. The learning for that experience was put to good use this morning. Once the first one was revealed the rest came easy. No marbles were destroyed or required to sign this log. -
After spending the weekend at Alexander headlands We returned after lunch, got through our admin of life and unpacked. My wife thinks me crazy but I suggested I might pop out for a bit of caching. Can you ever stop she replies. I think she then thought about it and acknowledged my ADHD tendencies and off I went.I parked the car and ventured off, soon finding ground zero and sighting the end prize. It wasnt long before I had the log in hand and mark was made. I returned the cache safely to its resting place and off to the next prize.Very glad to have this cache under my belt.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found.Cheers
In the recent few months, I have gotten into the habit of a long Sunday morning bushwalk. I had a late start this morning, thanks to some early morning football, and therefore opted for a shorter loop walk on Mt Cootha collecting all the recently placed caches. I started from Gordon Road and walked an anticlockwise loop on parts of the Quarry trail, Kulgun circuit , the overgrown Pandemic track, climbing up to Sir Samuel Griffith Drive before returning by the Bardon trail and Maculata track. After a short but steep climb, this was my first cache. i wasn't really certain what to except here, but soon made light work of the field puzzle, though I had some difficulty removing the small puzzle cap to gain access to the puzzle clues. Everything was in good order here and it is onwards (and UP! ) Many thanks arewethere? Pete#7,479
On a hike in the area with LadySim today. I have never hiked much on this side of the Summit Road and glad to have finally changed that. We came across som really nice trails, both major and minot, and even managed a little off track stuff. We are currently planning a hike in a few months up Australias 10 highest peaks at Kosciusko, and using this area extensively for elevation training - it did not disappoint!Another "arewethere" special, and an enjoyable challenge. I was not sure what way I was going to try and solve this one. I was wary of breaking anything, and the exhaust cover did not want to budge. I thought I might have read a hint in the cache description, and tried brute force logic. What do you know I got it after a few guesses! Yay. I then looked at the mechanism for how to solve the cache properly, and scattered one marble at my feet. Oh damn! took a while but it was retrieved and returned. All is well with the cache!Lots of favourite points given today!
A beautiful spring day to go for a walk up a hill. I haven't been to this part of the forest before so it was quite an interesting walk.
I quickly found the container here and sat down to figure out what to do. I tried to listen carefully as I moved it around, but I just could not figure it out. Then I just tried all sorts of random things and eventually a marble just popped out. Great! But hard to replicate it when I still didn't know what I had done to make it come out. After some time my random movements produced for me another marble. Interesting... And then finally the last one. Ahhh, now I understand. Very clever!
I was then finally able to open the cache and see what I had been dealing with. No wonder I had so much trouble! I'm fairly sure that piece should be attached. I reassembled it and tried it out. Yes, that seems much more likely. Hoping I'd done the right thing, I returned the cache and headed on up the hill to look for a shoe.
Later, when I returned to the car, I realised I still had the marble cap from this cache in my pocket, where I had put it earlier for safe keeping. "Curse this damned cache!" I thought as I headed back up the hill to return it.

We always tell the kids to keep it quiet when geocaching. Very hard to do with this one. We had a good laugh! TFTC
Very cool cache and actually have to figure something out as well for a single cache which is different for me
I came here last year but it had been muggled. So back today on our early morning training walk for our upcoming NZ tramp/hike. Once we got past the spiderwebs, the cache was quickly found. The marbles fell out when we opened the base so it was easier than expected to unlock. Tftc
I was out Geocaching with Que sera on the 05/01/2023. I haven’t been caching in quite a long time and I had such a great time finding caches today. This was the last cache find of the day and it had us stumped for a little while. After quite some time Que Sera and I had an ah ha moment and finally we had the cache in hand and could add our names to the log. This was such a clever and well constructed cache and o really enjoyed the whole experience of finding it and then figuring out how to open it. More than happy to give this cache a favourite point
Bear0503 and i had a rare chance to go geocaching together and we love puzzles so decided to find the 4 caches in a circuit around here that had a field puzzle attribute. We parked at the suggested place for piece pipe and all up my phone said we did 12,000 steps to do the circuit in 3 hours. There were lots of ups and downs and i think we did the last 1.5 km's the hard way going up and up and up a goat type track but it was so beautiful crossing creek beds before making it back to the car. This was our last cache for today and the most fun. We must have been a bit delirious from the heat and the long walk and both at first used the wrong colors and thought there were more marbles than the three. Bear0503 figured out that our judgement was off and had the cache open. Think its back off to spec savers for me, as for Bear0503 i think she just went along with what i thought as she often does when we are doing puzzles. i keep telling her not to trust me. We had such fun today and once again i will give this a FP when i have one to give. Thanks once again for all the fun.
After being on the other side of the reserve I relocated the car to try just one more cache before heading home. Upon finding the cache I gave it a couple of shakes just to see if anything would fall out. I then resorted to using a technique needed at another puzzle cache & hey presto three marbles in one shake. I did have issues identifying the colours of the marbles but now realise it must have been my sunglasses. Note to self - in future remove the sunglasses! Log signed & upon closing the cache, the catch was on the wrong side ?? lid unscrewed, rotated 180° and screwed into place again. All is well TFTC
Oh dear! Forgot to add the favourite but now it’s added. Great work in creating the puzzle.

Container rebuilt, however slight mods to the original blueprints have resulted in a D10 field puzzle. A proposed solution requires another trip to Hammerbarn.
Sorry to hear that this cache has already been damaged/muggled less than 12 months since it was put out. Here's hoping that the next version lasts the test of time!
A check of the hide location has revealed that the cache is missing. A broken piece of the puzzle box was found not far from the hide.
This will have to be rebuilt. Stay tuned.

We did it the old fashioned way - guessing and trial and error. It wasn't until after getting in that I worked out what we were actually supposed to do with it. Very ingenious. A favourite from us.
Pretty sure I missed something here. Even with the container open I have no idea what the clues were, Well, I found one inside once I had it open.
Anyhoo, all that is irrelevant. Nice quick find. No trouble adding my name to the log. Thanks for another great hide.

Today, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I took a morning walk in northern Mount Coot-tha Forest accessed via Bardon. It was a short 3.5 km walk along the Quarry Trail and Kulgun Circuit, and we saw a nicely coloured goanna and enjoyed a few views of Brisbane CBD.
Given the recent January field puzzle challenge and my shortage of these attributes within January, I took a look around me, and noted this geocache yet to be found! So this helped to draw [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I to this area today (or at least this month).
We hadn't been in this area, and [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) gave baby Warren a good workout (or nap) in the baby carrier, as we strolled up the hill to GZ.
I hadn't really seen this type of puzzle box before, and thought an obvious colour would be used as per the provided translation. It wasn't too long before the numbers were revealed, and I chuckled at then connecting the geocache's name to the clue. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. An excellent put together puzzle box, that is very worthy of a Favourite Point - well done! Thanks arewethere? for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

Time to take on the ‘nearest to home’ beast!
Enjoyed the walk up: haven’t been here for ages. A few others were around but it was nice and quiet.
I must admit the cache only troubled me for a very short time. I suppose my professional skills in this area were useful…
A very nice cache design means another FP from me, as soon as I earn another.
Great stuff!

Left the car then the rain started. Quick read of the description, hmm a trad that's actually a puzzle. Yep might need some time to work it out, dont fancy getting soaked, maybe another day

Out with IolantheK to grabe a few caches.
After doing another cache of the COs we had great expectations for this one.
Great cache, very intriguing field puzzle.
TFTC arewethere? a fav point from me

T-Tech and I headed out this afternoon to take a couple of walks around Mt Coot-tha to collect this CO's 2 new caches.
Walk #2, and it's a familiar area. T-Tech stopped for an oldie along the way, then we made our way to GZ. He likes cracking the code on these, and his grin was rather smug when he got it as it took only about a minute! Love the way it has all been put together. TFTC, arewethere?

It far too hot and muggy to be walking up a hill this afternoon but it was worth it for another devilishly clever hide from this CO. Thanks for the cache
Bonniedoglet’s first “first find”!
Searching and searching I saw a tail in amongst some rocks and wondered if it was one of the “clues”. Tapped it with a stick to make sure it wasn’t alive…no movement. Looked “rubbery” so I gingerly touched it with my hand… no movement. Ah ha! I thought, this MUST be the clue. Grabbed the end between finger and thumb to pull it out of the hole…and it sprung into life and disappeared into the hole!!! Top tip - lizard tails can look like rubber…and the clue you are looking for is not in lizard form .
TFTC!
