Thanks thehunnybunnys for hiding this cache. Now that my calendar and streak are completed, I can just cache for the fun of it. It was time for a return trip to Tassie to explore the southern part of the state. I paired up with OzHockeyChick for a 5 day caching blitz with some sightseeing in between. It was sadly the final day and we were mopping up the end of the TTSS and SSF series while making our way from Orford to Hobart via a whole heap of other caches.

We timed our return visit well with this cache just having been replaced. Thanks for the hide. Stunning views along here.

Thanks thehunnybunnys for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.

New cache but sadly the old Krusty the Clown one was long gone. (We will watch for another cache idea for this site but leave a new cache here for now)

26-Aug-23
Krusty the Clown now back on line.

25-Aug-23
We’ve had two DNF’s for poor old Krusty so I’ll disable him for now.

We’re doing a cache run on the weekend so we’ll come by and see what’s happened here. Hoping we haven’t lost him.

23-Aug-23
We looked in the obvious spot and then widened our search, but no luck for us today.

23-Aug-23
The Roadies and I are trying to conquer the Something Smells Fishy series today and this cache was on our way. We stopped and looked in the obvious spot, but alas no luck. There had been some roadwork done (not that this was impacting on the possible GZ) but there was lots of cans and bottles around the location, one being exactly at the obvious spot for the cache. Shame we didn't find it as heaven knows when we will be back this way again.

Hi thehunnybunnys, it was a glorious day touring the backroads collecting SSF caches and having some laughs along the way with 63Roos and All7.
This would be a magnificent view unfortunately today a blanket of fog covered most of the valley. This rather large camo cache is snug in its hide. Thanks for adding to our fun today!

On a road trip from Hobart to Stanley with my mum over 2 weeks. We visited a number of towns and we were mainly targeting Virtuals and Earthcaches due to the amazing locations they take one to. We did pick up the random traditional, multi, puzzle, wherigo and even a couple letterbox caches whilst travelling.

We were staying in Mangalore and I had noticed these new fishy tree caches nearby. This one came up on the map whilst doing the tree fishing caches so it would have been rude to not make the find.

Cache retrieved, signed and replaced as found. Thanks for the placement of this cache thehunnybunnys Big Grin

02-Mar-22
Lol... this one (post find) reminded me of the Mullet i grew and how it became to look awful as it grew longer and... weirder [B)] Big Grin.
It was quickly removed after that to the cheers of my friends and family ha ha. Find this cache, look closely and you'll see what i mean Big GrinBig Grin

The cache was found and the log was signed at 12:27 on Wednesday 2 March 2022.
Krust's bluff has great views Wink

TFTC thehunnybunnys Smile nice container too Wink

(Not one car was seen between the A10 and C185 roads, which was welcomed seeing this road, {Bluff Road, the C183} was only one-car wide in most of it's length).
Drive cautiously and always assume there is another car coming around the blind corners a plenty on this narrow road [^] and you'll be fine [^]

Accurate coordinates led to a quick find of a well hidden and constructed cache. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks thehunnybunnys for the cache.

Found it on a great day out with AlbyDangles testing out our previously un-used cache-fishing pole. Quite a cool start but it's warming up.
Thanks for the cache, nice one! And bonus views.
A nice quick find without getting dizzy peering up into trees. Noticed that the Hancock Clan had signed today, so they were in from of us somewhere.
Up the road a bit, we stopped and put the kettle on, took of the jacket and took a break, contacted the Hancocks for a chat and find out where they were.
Thanks thehunnybunnys for the adventure.
Cheers, EPs.

We awoke to find 30 new caches had been published overnight, so headed out with all the gear and technology required to retrieve the "pole" caches. On the way we passed by this new cache. We stopped and located quickly as GZ was ground level. A nice container and a great view. TFTC

Great view from a bit further up the hill at Parsons Rd.
Thanks for the cache.

Incredible day to be out in the country. We came to the Gretna Pup to check it out for camping and a pubmeal, as after many days of camping a cooked meal was what I needed. But no luck, it was a pub without food - this night. So we decided to do this cache before getting pizza in New Norfolk. TFTC

Thanks for the cache thehunnybunnys.
What a great day to be out and about geocaching. It's been a little while for me, but with a new addition to the household, it was time to do some geocaching training. With her big brother to show her what to do, the new 16 week old GeoGSP took it all in her stride. Beautiful drive on a gorgeous spring afternoon - we haven't had too many.
A nice quick find at GZ.

I dont remember ever coming this way before and I was pleased to find a very nice view from here, with no plans today it was nice to stumble upon a good spot

I was out for a drive with stainless steel rat, really because we couldn't think of anything else to do. We came in from the Gretna end to find this one. A nice sized container, which we were able to find with no trouble. Great views from up on the corner where we parked. Everything is so green after all the rain.
Thanks thehunnybunnys

Yay FTF
Late this afternoon I drove back to Hobart from Launceston having been working up there for the last couple of days. As I was nearing Hobart I realised one of the two new caches that came out yesterday way out the other side of New Norfolk was still unfound. Well given. I had just driven 200 Km I pondered could another 80 km return be such a big deal!! I picked up TaurusSix who thought it was a good idea too and off we went for a pleasant evening drive . Apart from a couple of short and sharp downpours of rain along the way it was a nice easy drive with not too much traffic . And this time of year with the light nights it makes it ideal for geocaching.

Once at this gz it was a nice easy find in a very good but obvious location. We were pleasantly surprised at the size of this cache, then we realised we had not paid attention to the sizing chart. After replacing the cache a Ute passed by and was clearly interested in what we were doing, we just smiled and waved politely.

Another extra bonus about these two new caches of thehunnybunnies Is that we had not been on either of the two backroads before so more “roads less travelled” which we always enjoy. TFTC
