A milestone birthday for MrTG last month & the family booked a short labour weekend family getaway in Hokitika. It just happened to coincide with a monumental Spring weather event over the weekend. With Arthurs Pass shut with snow, we had to head north out of Christchurch and through the Lewis Pass to loop back around and down to Hokitika......in torrential rain. Fun driving, not much stopping!Heading back to Christchurch today (through Arthurs pass which is open again - yay). Weekend over & heading for home (CHch)...MrsTG thought this was a nice spot for a family walk, much to the disgust of Mr15 & 17......Quickly cornered and signed. Thanks. This marks the finsh and the midpoint, as having reached here, we have to walk back to the start to the car! LOL.
#4,023: Bikeful Smiley!Out for a nice ride along the WCWT. Only two of us are cachers, so only signed for us. Cracker of a weather day, with only light winds, and no sign of any precip. Since we were more on a biking mission than a caching one, we only found a couple. Great day all around.Quick find at this one.SL/TFTC!!
Finally, found a weather window to ride and enjoy the beauty of the Wilderness Trail with a couple of friends. We had an amazing experience. TFTC
A glorious day in today. I enjoyed the sun while geocaching JDScout found it before I read the hint out.
This one was soon located it had a tad of water inside...dried out as best possible ..signed and replaced as found thanks Holymu
This was the finish for us, sort of as we did deviate!! Thanks for the series holymu
I got my bike out to do a few caches around Kumara today. I wasn't being a Larrikin today.
Time to turn around and head back.
Cheers for the cache, holymu.

The last cache on this section for me, pity there isn't a shortcut back to the carpark from here; TFTC
Thanks for your amazing cache. I really appreciate the time you took to set up and maintain your caches.
Found with Fisha1288
Cheers, Cympull.

This one was the finish for us. It was a quick find. TFTC and the series. We will give this one a favourite.
Nice easy one to finish the trail. Now to go back and find the one at the tailings.
We have been saving caches in Kumara for when we might need a cache for a certain day/souvenir but as we have some saved ones 'closer to home' today we decided to go and clean them up and finally grab the Adlab aswell, with potential to squeeze in a few new placements.
This was where we parked to start this section of this trail and also where we finished as we found it as we got back to the car. A nice quick find and now were off to see if we can place some of our own. Thanks for all the caches today

It was the finish for me. I thoroughly enjoyed the walk and appreciate the time you put into hiding and maintaining these caches. Thanks !
Spending the winter woofing, tramping and exploring the west coast caching along the way ..of course..
Back in greymouth for a while working at the Noah's ark backpackers...so a good base to tick off a few more..
Set myself a mission to hit 8000 finds by the end of the year...that's an average of 6 a day ..
Heading over the hill to Canterbury lfor a search and rescue training weekend so a good chance to get a few along the way
Turn around point for me..cache all good..

Found while biking back to our camp site in Kumara after going to the summit and back - TFTC
Well it was sort of the middle for me. I started at the other end, then did some in the middle and then drove round here to this end to complete the rest. Super quick find here. TFTC # 18,169
Found with StreetWalkerNZ while en route from Christchurch to Hokitika.
We had walked a section of the Larrikan track last time we were in the area, starting at the Kumara end. A bit of drizzle as we drove from Jacksons cleared up as we neared Kumara, so we decided we'd tackle these new caches, starting at the Larrikan Rd end.
SW found this while I was all set to stride off down the track, not realising that it was so close the the start! TFTC.

#20819. We were pleased to find we could drive to this cache. Quick find then off to look for the other three we had yet to find. TFTC.
Got too carried away with my walking I walked 10 metres past this one and had to back track !
A great wee walk. I love the peace and quiet although the track was surprisingly busy!
Thanks

Enjoying this wonderful trail while biking the WCWT, thanks holymu for this straight forward find and for your series.
Tonight's run went past this cache and I collected it on the way back. Two weeks ago I found the other caches along the trail getting three FTF. Unfortunately when I downloaded my list before I left work I missed this cache so missed the FTF on this one. I couldn't come back until today and see I will have to settle for third! Oh well it gave me an excuse to come for another run here. TFTC
A nice quick find thanks, and yes, another {FTF} today, WAHOO. I wonder why VO didn't finish the sweep!
Ms_KR and I are off on a wee jaunt to the West Coast, to climb another mountain.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

{FTF} 1645 with Karma Reprint on our way to Hokitika. Bit wet in Chch so we thought we'd go to the sunny side. Certainly looking bright just here. KR off to bike the rest. Thanks holymu.
