After breakfast I did a short walk for the first cache of the day. Thanks for hiding.TFTC magicchicken
Quick find while waiting for my Korean takeaway Left my pen at the motel unfortunately From USA and driving around Aussie
we found this last night while waiting on our dinner order. there was a van of tourists parked just next to GZ and staring at us. was fun!
Wind gusts have probably blown the little cache down Katoomba Street . . . Will replace it once this infernal wind finally stops.
Reperio 10:24We were headed home to Orange today from spending a few days in Sydney, and stopped by Katoomba to pick up some running supplies. While walking casually up the road, I glanced at the geocaching map, and realised we were only 100m away from this one. Once at GZ, the cs he was quickly retrieved. We found and logged this one quickly. Tftc and greetings from a German geocaching family
Greetings from Wales. We are staying in the Blue Mountains for a couple of days on our Australia big trip so went with a mate's recommendation to hike the Grand Canyon trail and what an absolute cracker it is. Stunning scenery and fabulous views to finish after climbing the 1000+ steps from the bottom of the Canyon.Another quick cache whilst the Boss visited the shops in Katoomba. Grabbed, signed and returned as found. Thanks for the smiley.
Waited until dark and the hordes to disappear before attempting this one. Took a little finding, but once I stood back and thought about it there was really only one obvious spot. Signed log and put back in place. TFTC
Quick little find once K-Town had died off a bit for the afternoon, forgot to bring a pen along so will come back to properly log soon. TFTC!
Suscoe was in Katoomba today enjoying a terrific trip to see the Three Sisters and the wonderful Blue Mountains. We were here with our very good friends Phetlern. We enjoyed a walk down the main street and enjoyed finding this cache. Thanks to pjmpjm for this hide.
14:41A day in the mountains with Suscoe. What an imposing display of cliffs, valleys and of course mountains. The legends of the traditional custodians are to be treasured. Not to forget the town of course.A BIG thank you to the CO who placed this cache.37119
While not a fan of AGB (hint) due to outdated attitudes, a nice find somewhere there
tftc! streets are pretty quiet at 10pm which is lucky bc i missed it the first time i checked and spent way too long looking at all the wrong places. im sure i looked very sus
Stopped by here today on my way to the doctor's office. Yep, it had been muggled. Replaced in a new place.
I searched as high as I could go and theres nothing there. Idk ??? I must be blind too.
Find #: 3,540Companions: NoneMuggles: A fewWeather: Lovely autumn afternoonCache condition: GoodAfter finding Cap 2 I continued on to this cache. It wasnt where I was expecting it to be be, but I found it after a short search. I was bemused to see my geo-brothers signing at the top (particularly given only2 names were visible), and more surprised when I couldnt find his log online. Anyway, TNLNSL TFTC
Gut gefunden. Hier muss man schon etwas genauer schauen. Gut versteckt. Abends kann man hier in Ruhe suchen. Danke fr den Cache Well found. You have to look a little more closely here. Well hidden. You can search here in peace in the evening. Thanks for the cache
Great to find a pjmpjm cache after such a long break. An easy find and in good shape. Hope the local drunk who was lurking nearby doesn't remember what he saw.SL TFTC
*In the area with woolwood9.* ????We soon managed to get the container found here! ????SL *tm/ww NZ*Thanks for the reason to stop and I appreciate the effort in setting up these caches!*
Over in Canberra to attend the Easter Mega with tmann421Tons of caches done while here and this was one of them.Enjoyed the touring around and all the containers foundLog signed tm/ww NZThanks for the placement and the effort put into maintaining these hides for us to find.??????
Arizona honeymooners great hint. We aren't too tall though.but our hiking stick helped then a tall stranger could reach it. Thank you.
Day 23 of our roadtrip in Australia. Unfortunately the Black Northeaster is drenching NSW with rain, so we saw nothing of the Blue Mountains and today basically only drove from there to the Hunter Valley with one stop in The Entrance. Short walk in Katoomba in the rain - we'll have to come back here, unfortunately no Blue Mountains for us, just thick fog. Thanks and kind regards from Switzerland, Hinni&Simo
Belated logging of this cache, geo-brother found it recently and saw I hadn't logged it yet! Found while visiting Katoomba to spectate 6 foot track marathon. TFTC.
Geocaching on foot after riding my bike up here all the way from inner Sydney.Very beautiful here in the Blue Mountains, loving it!A bit higher than expected but eventually found it, tftc!
Lots of muggles out but managed to get it thanks to my tall geo friend aaronw0813!
Cache creep. Someone has misplaced this one. Will drive over and reposition it soon.
Streak Day #3839 - Out with Dave8153 for our cache of the day. Quickish find today, however this one is not one for short people. Terrain rating of 1 is meant for someone in a wheelchair to be able to obtain the cache, someone wheelchair bound definitely will not be able to obtain this cache, suggest a reveiw of the terrain rating is in need or maybe the cache was placed back in the incorrect position. TFTC
14 January 2024This is find number: 9083Streak Day: 2950Found Today with Snoopy1976, a quick and easy find. Not sure if it is a terrain 1 though. ThanksThanks to pjmpjm for placing and maintaining this cache. TFTC
Had to get geohubby to feel where I couldnt. Thanks for the cache . A very cold wet night
Thanks to this cache, we visited some very nice spots in the Blue Mountains and I enjoyed another perfect day on my holidays in Australia.

Took a bit of looking and trying to avoid passers by. But soon had the cache in hand. Logged as TBS1W
Rate au premier passage, cette cache a finalement t trouve mon second passage sur site. Merci !
not necessarily.i've come across more than once a magnetised cache on a non magnetised object.single example.a tree in a park in melbourne, someone had glued a small magnet inside a hollow, then the magnetised cache to it.tree's aren't naturally magnetic.
So glad to hear that the latest cache is still in place. When you know that a magnet is involved, then you only need to identify the limited places in such a location which are made out of 'real metal' . . . where a magnet can stick. Plastic and aluminium locations can be ruled out, leaving only one option in such common facilities!
Hhmm i don't know.I was here yesterday twice. Once during the day and again late in the evening. Touching poking prodding glaring. Nada. And it was found yesterday apparently too.
Huzzah!Third time lucky. After my second fail at night fondling everything within reach, I sent a message to the past finder asking for a hint. With a super fast reply, I had some key info not to neglect. So after a famous schooner or two nearby ish (its a small town) i moseyed myself back to the scene of my recent debacle. Kept searching where I'd already touched more than once, but this time with a persistence I clearly didn't have before, because this time round the cache was poked very quickly.Yahoo!Cute container! So foggy and rainy today. Can hardly see twenty feet in front of me, which certainly helped with the muggle situation. Thanks for hiding a cache in downtown katoomba!First I went to Kuranda. Then I visited Kurumba. Now katoomba. I wonder what the next K town is.
Quick spot and CIH, although with a few mugglers nearby so I took a leisurely time to do my log. With TBs Canadian Flag and Swiss Duck in tow.
No luck after a deep searchOn a 10 day trip to Australia, siting Sydney, Cairns, and Melbourne and getting some caches during the trip. Visiting from Chicago. TFTC!
Apologies for late logging - just returned to the UK and catching up with the draft logs we made on our wonderful trip to Australia. In Katoomba today to ring the Bells at the nearby St Hilda's church (as part of our bell ringing trip to Australia), and this was nearby. So it was a no brainer to walk down to GZ, however, it did take some locating before I put my fingers on it and steadily extricated it from its hiding hole! Now off to ring those bells!TFTC
Na het vinden van "Katoomba Cappuccino 2" kwam ook deze cache in het vizier. Dankzij de duidelijke hint was ook deze cache snel gevonden. Loggen deed ik om 19u05. TFTC.
One last check on our departure day . Did not find . Disappointing, have been back & forth several times a day during our stay here .
Greetings from Singapore! We were so excited for this caching trip. But for this bell , DNF. Sad ! We came with 3 pairs of eyes , looked High & low . No luck. We will be here for the next 2 days. Hopefully CO could replace it & we will come by again b4 we proceed to Sydney. Thanks CO , pls alert us
Due to time restraints went to where I thought it was due to hint but too many muggles out todayWill retuen
