Projected our final and headed here Sunday afternoon. This was our final cache type for the 7 in a day challenge. We were worried we might not find it but we got there in the end. Tftc
Came over to do this one and initially had not luck till I read the cache page more fully. Once correct the cache was easily found and signed. Thank you for the placement.
Out with Agazo today, where do you park when there is no parking, you get creative and hope no one notices you shouldn't be there, then a walk to the cache, then a little bit more walking, read the page first, tftc
I didn't find anything at GZ until I read the cache page and realized that there was one more step to be performed. TFTC.
Wow, first letterbox cache for me. It was getting dark and I didn't have my cache for the day, so made a special effort to find one. This one seemed worth a try, so armed with a head torch I set off. After measuring the distance from the waypoint, in the general direction was looking around under trees and suddenly found it. Nice to see a dual cache. Signed the geocachers log, all in good condition.Thank you for the adventure.
I'm down with 0B80B8 and Yvettetb to collect a well planned and very specific list of caches to get as many add-ons as we could for our Project GC badges. I'll have to wait a while to get some as I don't have a lot of regular or large sized caches. It's a bit disappointing that there isn't 11 types to collect in Auckland. Anyway, we had a fun and very sucessful day.We came down last night because our main route through the Brenderwyns is closed for maintenance. Mum has an apartment in Parnell so that was a very handy starting point for todays outing. I always try to increase my letterbox finds so I'm running short of options in Auckland. Our driver spotted a gap in the barricade and we managed to squeeze through and drive to within 8m of gz. The CO would have had to been onto it to spot us from his window as it was a very quick find. Thanks for the letterbox hide
Down from Whangarei with Lis's crew & yvettetb on a Leap Day mission to get all available cache types and sizes in one day. As it turned out, we managed to achieve our goal and bookend it with FTF's to start and finish the day, with a few more along the way as a real bonus.Parking was going to be at a premium in the vicinity here, but luckily, I spotted a convenient gap and was able to drive to within 8m of GZ A nice quick find and we were soon on our way again. TFT(L)C
In Auckland this morning for Leap Day to get the various Project GC badge add-ons. We popped down to Auckland last night due to the Brynderwyns being closed so we could make the most of our Annual Leave day.Due to the fantastic weather lately our cache mobile was able to get us within 8m of the cache so not a lot of walking was required for us today. (We had already achieved our 10,000 steps for the day). Quick find at GZ. TFGC. Found with Lis's Crew and 0B80B8.

Danke fr diesen Geocache. Danke fr die Ausarbeitung. Danke frs Zeigen.Lieber Gru aus Duisburg / DeutschlandAndyDieser Logeintrag wird mit Hilfe von Google bersetzt.__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________We set off on a long journey with 37 geocachers from Germany, Denmark, Luxembourg and Switzerland. Three weeks to Australia and New Zealand, starting with a stopover in Doha, Qatar. I have never been so long and so far away from home. An exciting time. When geocaching, the focus was on many different cache types, but also special ratings, challenges and especially a few very old caches from the years 2000 and 2001. But also, of course, especially the geocaches that were easily accessible on foot from the hotel.Of course, the focus wasn't just on geocaching; the sights of the individual stations we visited also deserved attention. We entered our team name Downunder 2024 in the logbooks, saving logbook space and efficiently. It was a very special trip in a large team, which was also a lot of fun.Today we had the whole day to geocach in Auckland.Due to the large number of caches, there is usually only one standard log, for which I would like to apologize to the different owners. Thanks for this geocache. Thanks for the elaboration. Thank you for showing me.Kind regards from Duisburg / GermanyAndyThis log entry is translated with the help of Google.

Together with 36 other geocachers, the KiSt team undertook a very long trip to Australia ???? and New Zealand ???? for three weeks. On both the outward and return journeys, there was a stopover in Doha, the capital of Qatar ????.We experienced a great deal on this trip and gained many very different impressions of the two countries, their nature and their culture. Of course, the main focus was on visiting as many caches of as many different types as possible and also all accessible old cans. However, we also made sure to visit many special places of interest and to gain as comprehensive an impression as possible of nature and its flora and fauna. To save the logbooks, we usually signed in with our team name **Downunder24**. For "special" cans, however, we have not missed the opportunity to leave our nickname as well. This beautiful cache is now also one of our finds.Due to the large number of caches visited, it is unfortunately not possible for us to write an individual log for each can, which is why we would like to apologize to the owners for this collective log.We also met other cachers at some of the events and were able to share our experiences. Many thanks to the event owners!Of course we would like to thank all the owners for showing us the great locations, the sometimes tricky puzzles, exciting multis and wherigos, as well as the interesting virtuals and earth caches - TFTC!!!---In der Besetzung KiSt unternahmen wir zusammen mit 36 weiteren Geocachern fr drei Wochen eine sehr weite Reise nach Australien ???? und Neuseeland ????.

We have traveled with 36 likeminded geocachers to Australia and New Zealand resulting in lots of opportunities for sightseeing and geocaching. The logbooks were mostly signed under the teamname "Team DownUnder24" and answers were sent to owners for the group, as appropriate. This has been a great trip with a multifold of new impressions and experiences.During our stay in Auckland we had also the opportunity to visit some caches. This cache was today among our finds. Thanks for leading us here and showing and thanks for the cache.
Found this cache on a 21-day trip to Australia and New Zealand with a night of stopover in Qatar. In Qatar we have an evening and almost a full day of geocaching before we take the long flight to Downunder. In Australia we will visit the cities of Sydney, Melbourne, and Cairns. Our stays in New Zealand will be in Auckland, Rotorua, Wellington, Blenheim, Christchurch, Dunedin and Queenstown. We are a group of 38 Geocachers from Germany and Denmark - At geocaches that we visit as a group, we sign the logbooks with our team-name "Team DownUnder24" to safe the owners a lot of space in the logbooks. The following Geocachers are members of Team DownUnder24:gc, AmoebeST, AndyausDu, B@cker-1, Biggidag, Brummelbren, CacheTaucher, cooljo, Fotopinguin, Freizeit-TinaGazelle5111, GEO Karen, GoanToni, Hfi1, hupsi-1, karrai *, Leilah03, lenny love,Lupus54, Maxipimpf, muschel3, OllileinOpaundenkel, penalty96, Rheins,Simowl, sozioma,Sr. Elli, Team Zyanor, viko76, Webmasterrollerin, Whlhase, XenSuoTFTC, Team Zyanor
First day in Neuseeland ??. This is my first visit to this extraordinary country and the fulfillment of a long-cherished dream. In the past, it always failed due to the lack of a travel companion. Now I had the chance to join a large group of mainly German geocachers and I was delighted to take it. After a stopover in Qatar and 8 days in Australia, we landed in Auckland late in the evening. Today was packed with lots of places to see and caches we really wanted to do.Some of the team had rented a car for the day to go to some special caches. It was difficult to park here. So one of us stayed in the car while the others took the bearings and walked to the finale. Here we searched a little longer until we discovered the container in the undergrowth. Now our names are also in this logbook. Thank you for laying & taking care .Erster Tag in Neuseeland ??.
There was a lot to see and log on my trip through Australia and New Zealand, and this cache was one of them. We were a group of 38 and logged with "Team Downunder24" to save space in the logbook. Thanks says XenSuo

With Gap (of Fap and Gap)… It’s the last day of the Iconic Cacher leg of the Wheel of Challenges. We are chasing three different cache types today, and a trip to Auckland should do the trick…
We definitely needed a Letterbox Hybrid and this seemed like the most convenient for us. Gap looked at this hide and projected the final coords before our visit… It didn’t take too long to find the cache. We also picked up some items of rubbish to upcycle into possible hides. Thanks tramyard. TFTLBC.

We needed a Letterbox for this month's souvenir challenges, so after attending an event in the city this morning, TheLandGirl and I headed off to Favona to look for this letterbox, as it was my closest unfound one. Arrived at the reserve while it was raining and wandered around to the starting waypoint. Did the projection on my GPs then headed off to GZ to look for the cache, which was found after a brief search. TFTC!

This one had been added to the list of caches on this weekends list to tick off the Letterbox Hybrid cache type in the Wheel of Challenges for this month, we had solved the puzzle aspect of this one prior to leaving home and it was just a case of getting there now.
Parked up at the entrance to the Supercheap warehouse and waited for the security guard to drive off, he checked to see if we were ok before he left haha.
As soon as he was gone Mr Geckoh boosted off for the find, great idea for a Letterbox Hybrid container, as soon as i spotted it I knew it was what is now known as a Tramyard Special.

The weather was nice and I needed to get out of the house for a bit of a walk. Decided to target Mangere mountain and specific cache types for the Wheel of Challenges nearby.
Glad to arrive here nice and early seeing as it was an industrial area. Parked close and made the wet walk to the projected coords. Didn't take too before I spotted something a little out of place, which concealed the cache.

Down Manukau way for work this morning. With my morning duties completed it was time to head back towards the city for work there. But I took my lunch break in between to collect a couple of hides and an ad lab waypoint along the way. I parked up on Savill Drive and made the short walk around to the published coordinates. It was only then that I realised that I needed to project a further waypoint for the final. With a shower starting to fall it was tricky to navigate my wet phone screen, but I got the task done. Off to the final where the final was quickly detected after a brief search. Right, with the weather packing it in I think I will quit while I am ahead and be on my way. Cheers for the letterbox cache placement!
School holidays and time for a road trip to Auckland to visit family. Todays mission was to find 11 different types of caches. We organised an event and a CITO in Cornwall Park to help with the numbers. Between the two events we headed south to collect this letterbox cache. No problems with the find and just signed the geocaching log. Thanks tramyard for this smiley
I had arranged to meet Mr and Mrs KC to pick up some challenge caches today and any others we happened to pass. They had done this one so I left home a little earlier to make sure I had enough time. I had done the projection at home so after some creative parking (it is a Sunday) I wandered off to find the cache. Nice and safe where it is and no problems with the find. No one around at the time I visited. TFTC
I popped out this morning to find a few caches and also to fill in a couple of "dot" days - one for a multi and another for a mystery. Nice one! I was attracted to this cache both byt its type and its name. I worked for Pacific Steel from 1994 to 1997 so noticing this certainly triggered a few memories. I worked out how to access the reserve and wandered along to the cache location. It wasn't in the first spot I checked but it didn't take too long to spot it. TFTC, Biggles.
A solo caching day today while the other is busy working. I had worked out the final location for this one from home, but forgot to update the cache page with the new coordinates. So when I reach GZ I thought I was at the Final location and started to search. Nothing. Reading the logs it did not sound as though I was in the right place. A phone home soon sorted out the problem, and once I was in the right location I made a quick find. TFTC
M24: M13 and I starting off with a letterbox cache. Upon arriving at GZ, we followed instructions on exactly where to go.
Had to download a compass app for the degree feature, but it was all good when we approached the cache. M13 went in and signed it, now we off to explore more.
Nice and easy find, TFTC.

just the right amount of tricky for me, in both requirements. All quite out here on a Sunday.
Trying to collect a few remaining caches I wanted to collect before leaving.
This was one of those, so as I was passing nearby today, I stopped off and came to make the find.
A bit of poking around, but eventually we found it!
Love the container, a very unique “Tramo” (tramyard + camo) setup.
Thanks for another cache!

Straight from the airport to grab this one to finish off a challenge. Not what I was expecting but that’s a good thing. Didn’t take long to find. My first find on my first Mega trip.
Thanks for the cache, tramyard

I have had only 4 finds of letterbox caches for quite a while, and being the stats nerd I am, had been eyeing up this one to get the Letterboxer badge on Project-GC, which is awarded for 5 finds. I calculated the projection while walking over from the previous cache and noticed a likely hiding place when I arrived at GZ. An unusual container here but instantly recognisable as a fine example of tramouflage! Signed the cache log and replaced. All good here as well, and nice to not need to worry about muggles TFTLBHC tramyard!
I will admit that I was able to figure out the final location from home, though on site it was fairly obvious where it would be. Almost went past it but noticed something amiss and sure enough, there was the cache. Thanks!
Up in Auck with ABCDF4 for the day to tidy a few caches up,
this one a little different, TFTC.

There was a break in the rain so Mrs Jag and I headed out to grab a couple of caches while we could. Parking was tricky to find but after managing to find one we headed to gz and I made my calculations on the way. I tried going in from one side but Mrs Jag went in from the other side and made the find.
MrsJAG met up with Merlot58 to find a few caches before the rain set in. This was our first cache for the morning, and we had done some homework prior to heading out as to where the cache would be. We drove around looking for some parking close to gz, but couldn't find any so parked some distance away on the main road and walked the last few hundred metres to gz. Once at gz, the likely hiding spot was spied and soon after the tramofalgued cache was in hand. TFTC
I do like this cache type and I'm closing in on 100 finds of this type, so this was on my wish list for todays trip out. I'd done my projection homework before leaving home today so knew roughly where the cache would be sighted and sited. I found a good temporary Supercheap place to park and headed to GZ. After a quick search I spotted the strange hybrid Tramouflaged container(s) and the correct log was selected straight away. 3 from 3 from you today tramyard, I'll leave the others for a future visit.
Exciting day today, mrs c is off down to Manawatu to help with childcare whilst our daughter goes in to have her second child, our 15th grandchild. That means another ? is for ?????? traditional cache to place, and I'm already due to place the 14th in the series, R is for Rory. Anyway, trips across the border and down country usually mean an early start and mrs c was out the door at 0430, with me happy to be out the door a little later at 0515 and an eye on the Mangere bridge/Favona area. Not a huge number of finds but a few anyway, and a tide dependent Earthcache thrown in the mix, thanks all COs for their efforts. Back home for 0730, breakfast and get online for work. Winner!

Not a huge number of finds but a few anyway, and a tide dependent Earthcache thrown in the mix, thanks all COs for their efforts. Back home for 0730, breakfast and get online for work. Winner!
I was mixing my second cocktail from The Bramble’s lockdown cocktail kits (best cocktails in Auckland!) when this was published so thought it best not to attempt the FTF. The next morning when the alarm that I’d forgotten to turn off woke me up before I needed to be up, I checked for logs and when there were none, popped straight out. At the posted coords I plotted a rough route to GZ but not being great with bearing calculations, I have myself a larger search area than I should have done. But after a few minutes, and trying both sides of the grassy parts, I delved in and spied what the hint could be referring to and sure enough, there it was! Signed the nicely blank log and checked the TB inside to see if I’d solved that (I had!) and replaced as found. Not sure if I’ve FTF’d a hybrid before, so this was a nice novelty. Thanks for the steely cache!

A bit tired, they are making me walk to the cache. My silent protest as one foot slowly makes its way, and i am being propelled forward. Momentum does that lol
Chasing rustynz and gorby to gz, soon those magical words ring out, I've found it.
Thanks for the hide and todays fun

After an excellent day kayaking with the C.O and rusty and Rebel, I asked if Rebel and rusty would like to come here on our way home, it was starting to get late and we were all tired as! But Rebel made an excellent effort despite being weary. But me and rusty still keen as.
Took us a little while before finding a good spot to park up. I was navigating but the phone kept taking us strange places. We parked up on the grass off the road and wandered across. I had the final co-ords loaded earlier today. Done the projection. I saw McA's log come thru earlier, and knew we wouldn't be ftf anyway seeing as we were kayaking today.
Took us a few minutes of searching, but it was Sharon who spotted the neat camoed hide. I like the way you did this one Ark. Something a little different. Sharon signed us in.

Well what do you know, sometimes I do get the stars to align and the projection to work perfectly. Found the cache and a much desired TB. Left a TB

We had just finished a kayak adventure with the CO, and the plan was to collect this cache as we headed for home. So here we are, a little tired, the sun not setting, but low in the sky. A quick walk to GZ, and gorby informs me this is an offset multi!
OK, how many metres? hm, ok off we go, and the search is on! a bit tricky the entry, but with the 3 of us searching it did not take too long, and I called out that I had found it.
Loved the creativity here, a little unusual! fun find, thanks tramyard for the hide
