In Tassie for the next few months. So many great places to visit and so many different caches to find.Heading up to Cradle Mountain but needed to stop for this one on the way. This was a reasonable quick find, once at GZ.Thanks Nickrik for placing the cache and doing the maintenance needed, so we can find this cache.

Located with Ricardinho I was hoping to spot some Wally Wombats at this location, but no such luck this morning... Quick find on the cache once at GZ. Day 10 of our Tassie/Sydney trip & today we are in Cradle Mountain. We started the day early as we wanted to take full advantage of this stunning location. First up was the circuit around Dove Lake, then Ronnies Flat to Waldheim, & finally the boardwalk back to the interpretation Centre. Sooooooo impressed with the quality of the boardwalks & tracks here and the scenery was spectacular. Another awesome day in Tassie.TFTC

A quick find here on our way to Cradle Mountain this morning. We were hoping to come across some wombats this morning, but that was not the case. We did see a few the day before though, so that will need to suffice for the moment. No issues here, TFTC Nickrik.Day 10 of our Tassie trip. Today is all about Cradle Mountain. We got here early to get one of the first buses to the Dove Lake circuit, and completed that. We then did the walk starting at Ronnies Flat to Waldheim, which I thought was great. We then walked the boardwalk back to the interpretation centre before taking another short walk to a cache, which ended up being a DNF anyway. All up we did 18km or so and the weather was great, although we were prepared for much worse.Really impressed with the quality of the boardwalks and loved the scenery. We had a great day out.

Found it thank you

After slowing right down to let a wombat and her young fella cross the road safely, I pulled over and seen there was a cache nearby. It was getting dark and the temperature had dropped but it was nice to wander across to find this one while enjoying the scenery.

Heading to our hotel near Sheffield after a glorious day at Cradle Mountain. What better way to wind up the day than scoring some caches along the route home? No troubles here. Signed the log. Thanks

Heading back to Launceston after a wonderful week exploring the west coast and surrounding areas.
This looked like a really interesting spot after reading the history in the cache description.
We parked nearby and easily found the cache when we walked over to it.

Weekend away at Cradle gave us one out of three great weather days .... the other two could only be described at "atmospheric". Planned to visit some caches on the way home today. First one was leech ridden, this one we drove to within 3 metres, found a beautiful container with very dry contents. TFTC Nickrik.

I was in the area after another cache so went the required extra distance to look for this one. I was aware that this was the Daisy Dell Oval having seen the sing on numerous times before. Regarding the cache a quick find was made. Thank you Nikrik.

On my second day in Tasmania, I wanted to see some Tasmanian devils. After not seeing any on the Tarkine drive I decided to go to the sanctuary at Cradle Mt, so on the way there I found a few caches.

For our daily cache today we headed south of home towards Cradle Mountain. The first thing that we noticed on arrival was the number and variety of wildflowers in the open areas, with colours including white, orange, red, yellow and mauve. We have visited the area numerous times but have never seen such a display. Accurate coordinates and an obvious hide location led to a quick find of a good sixed cache. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Nickrik for this cache and for bringing us to the magnificent display of wildflowers.

A beautiful day to be out and about.
Many thanks Nickrik for placing this cache and giving us a reason to visit this location.
