Nicely constructed cache and worth a fav point from me . Today we decided to take a journey out to Mosgeil and walk along the Silver stream walk way and then do the Labs and trads and some other multis in the area . We had a successful day on the hole and the highlight being invited into the C O's house for a cup of tea etc many thanks for that we took nothing and left nothing here at any of these caches in this area . thank you for these caches and the maintenance of them .
Nice find with woolwood9 today. ????Heading out after attending the MEGA in Dunedin.SL *tm/ww NZ*We had lots of light rain but enjoyed the drive around!*Thanks W.E.K.A. for the fun cache* ??
tmann421 and I are heading south after attending the MEGA, dodging as many showers as possibleWe enjoyed all the caches found and thank the cache owners for their efforts in maintaining these for us to findLog signed tm/ww NZTFTC
Arrived today from the Northern Island to attend Geo Toroa (Mega), as a group consisting of myself, HeMaLuDy, UncleSamNZ, keylev, NZ Travellers, and of course it would be rude to not locate caches as we left the airport heading into our accommodation in Dunedin.Signed in as SEAC to save logbook space and on our way to the next hide.Fav.point for the camo on this one.TFTC.
We are in Dunedin this weekend for the Mega with Stik-a-Crane, UncleSam, KeyLev, and NZTravellers. We have signed all logs as team SEAC to save space, especially as we know this weekend will be busy for all caches. We have landed, picked up the cars and the plane geoart and any other trads, multis, or puzzles we have solved are the targets for the day. We have had an amazing time and had very few DNF's for a very successful day with lots of laughs and memories made.Another cache where the CO joined us on her bike. Another very clever hide.
Here for a fun weekend with friends from Auckland to attend the 2024 Mega. All logs signed SEAC as a group. Very sorry for the generic plain logs. Thanks to all cache owners for placing the caches.
After completing the aeroplane series it was time to branch out and find some others 'on the way' into Dunedin. By now a theme was emerging the CO came with us to this one! Thankfully it wasn't embarrassing for us as Mrs HeMaLuDy was tuned in and soon had the log in hand...woohoo....Thanks for the cache - a fav point for the clever camo. Signed as Team SEAC (South East Auckland Crew)
Team SEAC consisting of HeMaLuDy, Stik-a-crane, UncleSam, Keylev and ourselves headed to Dunedin for the 2024 MEGA!All logs were signed as SEAC to save paper (except where specific signing requirements were requested)Thanks to all the CO's who had maintained the caches as we found a majority with fresh paper and containers!Quick find.. Fav point added for the great camo.TFTC
Maintenance check before the MEGA next weekend and all is well.New log sheet in place
My GPSr took me to what I thought was a likely spot and reading the activity logs took me right to the cache.TFTC.
Super cool hiding spot on this one . Youve done well the kids loved it . Kids and I searched for ages and then my wife turned up and figured it out in about 2min. Haha I wont live that one down .
On a roadie getting some caches for a challenge. I need 100 caches with different COs. Nice work. FP given
It was hard for us with two bored dogs but made so much sense when we did get it!
Hmm... "clever", but... makes me really uncomfortable. Will assume that CO found the item already damaged... It would have been better to send a fix-it to the DCC to get the item repaired, instead of taking advantage of the hole. We've seen too many hides by new cachers who take apart or drill holes into public property, so best to avoid hides that might lead cachers into those idea.
Brilliant micro hide. Found over what we call the troll bridge, on the way to the blue slide playground
It sounds as if this cache has gone, again! We'll check when we return home next week.
Thanks so much for continuing to replace this one. We finally grabbed it today, exactly how we knew it was hidden. Hopefully it's a bit more safe here. Such a great idea for a hide, gutted that people kept interfering with it. Thanks again for replacing twice! Finally I have a smiley face!

Thanks for replacing this! Unfortunately a DNF for us today though. Went straight back to where we went last time, lifted out.. but no cache. Having a good look, and using a torch.. pretty sure the little cache is down there.. but it was impossible to lift up. Tried to use sticks but I'd suppose I'd need tweezers to get this?! I'm not sure if it's supposed to be this difficult to get to. Or perhaps I'm in the completely wrong spot?
A fun find with dakotacats while out walking around the new and newer subdivisions. TFTC
A fun find with 4Clubs while out walking around the new subdivisions. Thanks for the cache.
Very clever hide. I could have missed it even when I had it in hand! Would give this a fav vote if I was a premium member. TFTC.
Stopped here after walking through the Chain Hills Tunnel on the open day. The suburb reminded us of some places we have seen on the Gold Coast, with nicely laid out roading and green spaces. MrMagoo72 found this while I was deciding whether it had gone missing. Very clever hide - loved it. A fav vote from me. TFTC.
Found with Sunflowers26 on a day out in the Mosgiel area, grabbing caches I had on my list for a while. We had very little problem here - as a geocaching veteran I identified it very quickly, especially given the listing. I think Sunflowers was plenty amazed at it. Cheers!
Some peeps are just rude. This cache was a good find on our walk around today. TFTC
Heading back to the residence over a couple of hills and several kilometers to go as the crow flies after visiting some missing cache GZ's. Disappointing some new ones are gone already from the new crop of newbies running around with their phones. Parked on the arterial street to Highland Park and crossed the bridge. I like how 'this side' of Mollywood is really starting to turn out. The Outlaw lived in Irvine st behind the shops in what used to be a redeveloped part of Mosgiel. Don't call Mosgiel a suburb of Dunedin, it's a town! or you get nasty looks all weekend. Now I just hum - ding dong that witch is dead. Sauntered up to the lightening place and picked the first of the three remaining things and found the nano. Logscroll has developed some dampness from the hide filling up with 'water?' and made for difficult extraction. Used the strongest tweezers to grip the logscroll and plucked it from cache. A damp tatty end tore free before unrolling half the logstrip to SL somewhere in 16th? place. Spending awhile to roll strip tight, it's still too thick for the nano but fits. As this took some time, we chatted to a dog walker going past at one of their regular P Mail places. Cache returned to spot still attached to item. Not sure how a tornado vial would work here or a hollow item, either way the log will get wet even if the O ring is still in use. We have been listening to the trains shunting at Janefield whilst helicopters and light planes flew overhead all day, can you hear the sea from here at night. *High fav 11favs 2nd Favorite Fan! Heart challenge **20pt 14th** trad **160pt***. TFTC

This one is nicely done and I can't imagine it been found by a Muggle unless bored toddlers fill their time while parents stop for a long natter. Nice new logsheet. Because of the rain I took it back to the car for the final extraction. Thanks.
A bit rusty (me not the cache). Geokiddos distracted at the nearby park so I could step away for a bit. A clever hide. The log book was full so squeezed some initials in. TFTC #400+ (need to catch up with my logging).
Very cute and exactly what I expected. Just over the back from where we're staying. Now to work out if there's an easy way back. Log is full. Thanks.
A quiet neighborhood and GZ slightly out of the way so we didn't feel too conspicuous.Love the hide!
Cache 1144 ️ OMG the Magnolias down this little path smell heavenly today in the warmth ️ cache was a quick find, clever little hide in excellent condition, this was another hidden date I needed to tick off the list so wahoo T4TC ️

I had some time to fill in before my flight back home this morning. I filled this up by going for a walk along the Silver Stream and exploring a few areas of Mosgiel I haven't visited before. All good here.
