Logs
Yes even after reading other logs about the possum and seeing pictures, nothing quite prepares you for it. JABs
Found it, the possum was there too! I opened the lid, but couldn't quite get the log out.
Awwww the possum was there.
Was super quite getting and signing the log. TFTC

A quick find by Highland Girl21. Being the youngest, she was volunteered to do the climbing
Continuing my daily geocaching venture with another cache with an above average DT rating. The possum box is fairly easy to locate being an obvious red structure in the tree but the hide is a little less inconspicuous but is the same height as the possum box but more riverside of the tree. Easy enough to get to too. A beautiful spot along the river and the possum was home today too. I wonder how often it gets woken up. It least it isn’t jittery enough to bail quick smart and can soon get back to relaxing in his tool box home.
Out with the Flexi crew aiming for 10 on this side of the river this morning.
The possum was home and this was a fun climb.
Thanks for placing.

Thanks for placing.
I attempted to search here and checked a number of potential hides, but finally I had had enough of the smell (dead kangaroo or wallaby) and the flies and moved on. DNF!
PS. Now I read that climbing was necessary. That means I wouldn't have found it anyway.

No possums where harmed in signing this cache, just the fork ripped our of the climbers shorts...didn't like them anyway
Found with orth71 on a walk along the river.
Need a new pair of pants after the high wire act.

Nice Hide found with Piggy357, GeoKidNQ and Gem_54. But when we got there possum was dead squashed on the ground RIP.
Coongoola & Geodog are on an adventure after attending the Townsville Mega event in Qld. We found your cache today 24 April 2022 9:16 am , while enjoying another day out adding to our tally. TFTC CacheQLD
This was a challenge to retrieve the log from the container! And slippery when wet . Tftc
Great Northern escape 2022 Day 14. Townsville post Mega section Day 2. For my last day in Townsville, I joined TikvaNZ for another section of the Ross River power trail, with a bit of on and off again rain and a closed section we did pretty well. After that I set myself a list of puzzles and other non -trad caches to find for the day, which all took a lot longer than I expected, not to mention the ongoing rain all day. It has been a wonderful time in Townsville, and I have many more caches to get, so hopefully I will get to pass through again later in the year.
Thanks for the cache CacheQLD

Day 14 of a 3 week holiday driving from Canberra to Townsville and back to attend the Mega. This morning Albida33 and I did some more of the Ross River Power Trail by bike/scooter. Apart from having to skip 4 due to being fenced off, all caches we attempted were soon found. TFTC.

Found with BecknMonts while out using our electric scooters. A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon when we found most of the cachers that we went for.

Found while out cycling around Townsville after attending the Mega. Thanks
We tried to find this on a previous ride but it was so dark we could barely see the possum let alone a cache. Today we were riding the PPRT once again. The possum didn't stir the whole time we were there.. and that includes MrG dropping the log and lid and me clambering about getting them back to him. TFTC CacheQLD.
Next on the list after running into two other groups going in reverse direction. Resident possum nearby was home but chilled and just buried its head into the toolbox. Glad this was a bit easier than expected due to an injured leg on the climbing half. TFTC
Thanks to Auswanderers for hints. We were looking at wrong place and luckily they who told us to look at Attributes. What a clever hide and retrieved without disturbing sleeping possum. TFTC.

Townsville Mega Event 2022. Friday. Our group of 3 ladies whom we’ve named SSQ for this trip to Townsville to visit the mega went straight to GC. I think it took me way longer to spot the red possum box than it should have, but after we spotted it, it wasn’t long before we had the cache container in our hands and the log was signed. Nice safe tree climb for this one.
This was the 3rd of 21 caches found on this outing.
Thanks ***CacheQLD*** for showing us this place

Mrs Snakepitter, out for an afternoon ride with Bill (DiMorgan), grabbing a few along the cycleway.

Found at 1:14 PM GAFF1 in the company of DiMorgan.
We spotted the box, I asked Bill what size the cache was rated and he said "Regular" so I said that it must be the cache then. I go up and to my surprise there was a possum in there - just like the photo! I then coerced it to move on so that I could retrieve the cache, but to my dismay - there was nothing there and all I did was annoy the possum
I looked around and spotted the actual cache just a couple of metres away - sorry possum!
Thanks CacheQLD.

In the shade of the late afternoon shade and wjth only perscription sunnies it took a while to spot what the tasks were here. After some circle work, climbed, signed and srambled down. Hello possum! Thanks for another cache CacheQLD.
Doesn’t seem to get out much. At first I didn’t want to disturb it, but couldn’t help myself. Found the cache, signed and let the possum restThanks CacheQLD
What a cute local! At first I figured this would be the cache, but once I climbed up the tree, it looked at me with sleepy eyes. Sorryyyyyy!! However, from its position a good angle was there to spot the cache and [FTF]
