Ogilvie Park is now withdrawn. The extensive earthworks really puts the cache in a work area and therefore should not be intruded upon. I'll probably replace it when the works are completed.
Hello, I was unable to access GZ today, it's been fenced off - for some time already I reckon - and may be for some while. Could the CO please check and update accordingly.CO could message me for more info, and/or a pic.Thanks.
this one hasnt had a log for over half a year. personally i havent looked for this cache however posted coordinates is now a construction site. not sure if this new development is an issue for the cache. thanks
This cache took a little while to find but I have seen this type of cache before. All is good here. I love it that there is ample nearby parking.

Accompany with ALL7, so much better with the weather today than yesterday being raining.
Very interesting this puzzle but difficult read too tiny as amazing cache and a sound spot signed the log with a stamp.

Very cool logbook. Never seen anything like it. Got premium last weekend and found this. First cache where we had to figure out the coords. Was happy when we got them. Really enjoyed this one. TFTC
A day trip to Launceston to complete a few little tasks and of course geocaches in the area as well. A reasonable good trip, but 4 DNFs ina row at the end of the day was disappointing.
Thank you for the cache
Had this cache solved for a long time, but finally arrived to grab it

OzHockeyChick shouted me a return flight to Launceston for my birthday. So grateful for this awesome gift and so very pleased to have her with me to celebrate.
We got diverted to Hobart which definitely wasn't part of our tight schedule. Once we arrived in our original destination, we picked up the car and were on our way.
OHC had this one worked out really quickly then I happened across the cache.
Thanks for placing this cache for us to find.

A 'Thelma & Louise' style weekend away with Geoturtle37, to celebrate her recent milestone birthday. We are flying in to Launceston on Friday afternoon, returning to Melbourne on Sunday evening. Our carefully planned itinerary includes selected LGAs, placement dates, DTs and high faves. If we manage to find them all, we can expect 186 smilies in total.
Thankfully I’m ok with math, so this was a quick solve. The “size” had us looking in other locations at first, then GT put her hand on it.
Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, heidiseeki

When looking at this problem it took a few attempts before my brain slipped out of neutral and eventually I had had this puzzle solved and a set of coordinates. For some time I thought the cache was in a different location which was very exposed to muggles. I reviewed the situation again and made a serious attempt at a find and after an extensive search I was able to sign the log. Thank you heidiseeki for the double challenge, the puzzle and the find..
My muggle friend and I solved this one the other night. I’m glad she was helping me as I had forgotten something so simple to do with these letters and numbers. We got there in the end.
Tonight on the way home I got to find this cache.

When i opened this puzzle to see how to solve it, i was looking for something else in it but couldn't find it... 5 minutes later then a headslap moment, crunched my wee blue-birdy brain into gear (I was once told, during my early days driving lessons 'battling' a manual vehicle: "If you can't find 'em... grind 'em") Post "Grind" i had a solution and the Checker agreed
After dropping off a mate to pick up his Motor-Home from Low Head, i was free to grab Caches (Mainly targeting Old Caches and those with high FP's) between here and Launceston where i "had" planned to stay tonight but the place is near on booked out so in hindsight, i found as many as i could then made a dash for home in HBA, later in the afternoon.
Parked the GeoMobile nearby and wandered over to the GZ area. I looked in a few spots then spotted something and i was signing the log at 13:39 on Tuesday 21 March 2023. Nice cache... i have seen these before and they are sneaky as! Gotta have your 'Eye's In'
Re-hid making sure no Muggles were about or looking.

[ I think that Big Red Hammer across the road needs to be applied to my brain at times when solving Puzzles ha ha]

We are spending a few weeks caching around Tasmania, initially with a bunch of other kiwis. This is our first day caching in and around Launceston. We are concentrating on solved puzzles plus doing a few of the local Adventure Labs, including a tour around the Historic Homes of Launceston.
We parked up nearby and made our way to where the GPS was pointing. A family had been having a picnic nearby but were putting the last items in their vehicle as we approached. Lucky we timed that well, and we soon had the cache in hand. TFTC

Up from Hobart for some orienteering and we happened to come with the grandchildren to a very good playground nearby.
Had solved this puzzle when it first came out! Interesting container that appeared back to front but that’s the only way it can stay!!

Back home we decided to tackle a few caches that have been published since our last time in Launceston and surrounds.
Having solved this puzzle previously we made a quick find at GZ. Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

We visited Riverbend Park for the geokids to have a run around after the drive from Tullah. 12Fieldtrip & I solved the puzzle while they burned off some energy & we made the collect on the way out. Cool hide, TFTC.
I brought the paper and pen (the brawn?), Roarts brought the brains. Mystery solved. Then off for a quick search and a find. TFTC
Having solved this one a while ago I was waiting for the right moment to find it.
Today I was heading to the nearby store rather late so took the opportunity to find it while there were very little people were around.
TFTC and for the puzzle.

Before we came on our holiday to Launnie I solved this puzzle but thought it was too far away. Last night we found a bridge across the river that was going to get it close so it was back on the agenda. Unfortunately last night we were at a restaurant 200 metres away but there were too many wines and we were just hoping we could stagger back to the hotel without tacking an extra 400 metres onto the struggle.
This afternoon we were walking around the boardwalk and took the opportunity to cross it and grab the hide. We tried shaking the bridge but that recycled plastic is rock solid and will last forever.
Once we worked out we weren’t going to get a beer at the rowing club we pushed over the hill to make the find. tftc

I was sitting at work at lunchtime looking for some local caches to grab before I headed home. This one caught my eye and I sat there with the lunch wrapper writing down and working out a solution. It was wrong. You can tell it is wrong when your cords have you in the middle of the Tamar!
A slight tweak with the letters and another solution presented itself. This is more viable.
So after work I drove towards GZ and after grabbing another nearby cache, I stopped at this one and had it in under a minute.
TNLN, thanks for the cache!

I can remember as a kid, playing school football at Ogilvie and if it had been raining then expect muddy smelly ground. GZ was something we saw nearly every weekend
This cache took us a moment to locate, we were all over it. Mr G initially spied something that looked possible, but could not find anything. So left it alone. Then Mrs G said found it, exactly Mr G have looked and given up on. Great find thank you from the old trip down memory lne

Solved the puzzle last night and was a quick find with a clever cache. Unfortunately I forgot a pen but there was a convenient store nearby so signed log.
TFTC!
TFTC!
A very easy puzzle which was solved by Mrs Beetle who usually leaves the puzzle solving to Mr Beetle.
The cache itself took way longer to find than it should have. This cache type used to be really popular but we haven't come across any for a long time now.
A few of the first names on the log sheet have faded or washed away and are unreadable now but that's where I signed so I hope my cache name doesn't disappear too!
A very busy place so used the 'phone an imaginary friend' to give us a reason for hanging around here. It's amazing what great conversations you can have with them!
Thanks heidiseeki.

Thought i’d get out today and attempt some local puzzle & newer caches that were sitting on my map. This was one after we stopped and walked to a nearby cache i realised i had the solved coords to this one and we thought yeah why not?!
Not what i was expecting but very much appreciated. Today 5 out of 6 caches were fun unique cache hides which we loved! TFTC

Had this puzzle solved when first published so nice to tick it off our list while in Launceston. TFTP
In L'ton for a couple of nights for someone's significant birthday, but she wishes to remain anonymous ! 30+ degrees here today, so figured a little evening caching after 4 hot ones this afternoon would be a good idea. Had this one ready to go for such a trip to 'the big smoke" so here we are. Excellent hide, easily and surrepticiously retrieved, logged and replaced in quick time. Now off for birthday dinner close by. TFTC heidiseeki
TFTC. Pen is a must for this one. Thanks for the cache. Cache and contents are in good order. Very sneaky.
Thanks for the puzzle cache heidiseeki.
Spending a couple of days in the north of the state with RLD4963 and the two GeoGSP's. Our main reason for this trip was to visit the lavendar farm at 'peak lavendar' - it was an added bonus that we could take the doggoes. Before heading back to our accommodation, we decided to grab a few caches. It wasn't too busy nearby, which was lucky as this took quite a few minutes longer than it should have - then there it was! Cache is in good order.

Today I came in town to see some family I hadn’t seen for quite some time, with the area around GZ quieter at this time of day it made for a nice and easy find. Cache is all good

When we were in Hobart last night, we saw this cache published and it didn't take long to solve and confirm the coordinates. This morning we saw that the cache was still to be found. So when we got to Perth on the way home we checked again and it was still not logged. So we came into Launceston. Accurate coordinates led to a quick find of a familiar style of hide. Apart from rain having caused the ink in the log heading to run the cache was in good condition. As there were no other entries on the log, we will claim {FTF} at 10:45am. Thanks heidiseeki for the puzzle and cache.
Hearty congrats 2y'stassies on your FTF. Very pleased to know that has not been muggled out of existance ..... yet.
