What a cracking time and day for an event! I thought I was going to have trouble finding a parking spot with so many people out and about enjoying the sunshine, water and daylight savings.

Before too long The Rats had fired up the BBQ and whilst the snags were cooking some general geocaching discussion took place, including with the KemblaKrew!

Thanks for providing dinner and although not thousands of attendees, everyone there I'm sure had a great time. TFTE!

Sorry I arrived after everyone had gone. Maybe next time I’ll catch you all.

Clair had a physio appointment that ran overtime, which meant she Wicket and I were a bit later than planned. By the time we arrived everything was in full swing, with a perfect summer evening on the lake being enjoyed by cachers and Muggles alike.

I enjoyed more than my fair share of Banga sangas, you really cannot go wrong there. Fantastic to see the usual crowd, along with meeting KemblaKrew. I really love the enthusiasm of the new cachers to our game of late.

As everyone drifted away Clair and I walked Wicket out to the lake entrance and back again, it is nice to finally have some summery weather.

See you all at another event sometime soon.

Cheers

On a very hectic day with a lot of obligations, still managed to be there on time and helped The Rats with setting up the food stall. Due to following SES commitments I could only stay for half an hour 40 minutes, but still good to meet everybody and say hi to new guys on the block!

Nice outing to catch up with fellow cachers after being in lockdown for so long.

A big day in the Illawarra resulting in 20+ finds! Nearly all finds were unique, interesting and in good condition. Thanks to all Cache Owners for their contribution to our enjoyable recreational activity!

Arrived late but enjoyed catching up with the locals. Thanks for the sausage sandwiches. Merry Xmas everyone! TFTE

First event for us! Youngest Krew claimed to have identified cachers from other end of Windang bridge and turned out to be correct. Christmas attire led us to the find where the sweet smell of sausage was thick in the air. Amused us all to put faces to names and important caching info and advice was gained from the very experienced attendees. Thanks for hospitality, was great to meet everyone!

It was really great catching up with old friends again and it was fantastic to meet up with the KemblaKrew team.
Wished I could have stayed a little longer but like Wilbert we also had to rush off earlier than we wanted due to other commitments.
Many thanks to the ICC for organising and holding the event and hope to see you all again soon.

The pressures of Christmas time seem to add up without notice, so it was great that we could squeeze in one more gathering before the man in the big red suit arrives on Saturday.

Under beautiful summer skies a smallish gathering shared in the laughter, a sausage sizzle and the banter of new and old caches. It was great to put faces to names and meet some of our newest caching community, and to the regular crowd its always nice to catch up.

Until next time, Merry Christmas

With Christmas just around the corner I decided to tag-along with The rats as they headed for this event. The lure of a sausage sizzle and playing with some little dogs is one I couldnt pass up.
Thanks to those who hosted the event and Merry Christmas to everyone.

Crazy time of year for sure but can always find time to “Meet” with the usual suspects and “Greet” the enthusiastic newcomers of our community. Throw in a couple of cute puppies and the best 90 minutes of my Christmas schedule was complete (and on a quirky date 21/12/21). Thanks to the Rat Chefs for the snags and everyone for the chats and company. Best wishes to all for the coming yuletide season and hope to see you at our next two events celebrating the New Year.
