Wow!! Yes. Thanks to the previous loggers I persisted, viewing the place from every possible angle and feeling in every nook and cranny! We were almost ready to give up when I took one more look and at last spied something that matched my final idea. Cache was finally landed and the log signed! Very satisfying. Great fun, thanks DCell

Teamed up with ullyssia today to look for caches in an area that we rarely get to. We had a great day with a variety of interesting hiding spots and containers. Managed to clear quite a few green dots but there are so many more around...Nice walk around this island, but should have used the mosquito spray! They were relentless. Thank you for the cache DCell.

We found it on our second try. Were so happy to have found it and it was such a great challenge. TFTC

Great hiding spot. Took a while but found it

Had a Quick Look but our searching eyes werent quite warmed up yet.

This morning I went geocaching with my son (owkeys) and grandson (LukeRed5) on Kuljak Island. We ended up finding 5 out of 9 geocaches. This was the first and a DNF.

TFTC. Could feel it before I could see it.Very good hide. A favourite point from me.

Up this way for Christmas drinks last night and a day at the races today so as the heat of the day was setting in we made our way to gz I was glad to see we had some shade to hide in. We searched for a few minutes a Leega spotted something and sure enough it was the cache. We added our names to your log and returned your cache back to where we found it. TFTC DCell

While staying nearby with axell33 for Xmas dos we wanted to get a few local caches. So braving the heat that had already set in, we head to gz with, no one around we were able to give a thorough search. The tiniest sighting of a hint and lots of finger walking gave us the clever, tricky hide here! A favourite for me for a great conceal of a cache! We made our mark and returned this one to its hide. Thanks for this one DCell.

I am slowly learning about this DCell character. After a slow and intense looking, I spotted a very small detail. Bingo. TFTC

Today the plan was to hit Black Swan Island. A bit of a slow start with brunch at Bunnings first.
I haven't done a decent walk since in Perth a fortnight ago so was looking forward to it with the sun out warming up the day, well trying to anyway.
Went to do this one first but muggle family were a few steps in front of us so came back to make it our last.
I said an idea and our new caching friend did the deed and came up with the cache.
Time to head to visit the 'old boy' in hospital

Yes its there and lucky me and a quick bingo moment. Some would say audacious and definitely in plain sight. So far from home - LIKE 3,500 KMS and at lower altitudes exploring out west and this time on trusty treadles AKA the MTB. Beaut to be near the Swan. TFTC and the FUN! A fave for very very cool well constructed camo.

Taking a walk around Kuljak Island, this cache was our last stop before heading homeward... There were a few muggles about when we searched for this one, but it only took a few minutes to track down (although not the first time we searched there ).

We lost our new found friend as he departed quickly when he spotted another animal of the barking variety

Unfortunately, we had no luck finding this cache today. In all honesty, we think it is MIA.
We'll put a watch on it and hopefully return to find it another day.

Thanks for the series. I only got a chance to find 3 on the island today including the old cache before little people were complaining of tired legs. I’m sure I checked this spot a few times before I realised what was needed to extract the log. Managed to lose my pen at the first cache so had to make do here
