Accio 13:38:59Out with T4mmmy and Suki the geo-wonder pup. Bit of some random wonderings around today. Quickly spotted and retrieved - took a couple goes to replace but we got there. Thanks chamad for entertaining me at this location. *{Overall find #12890}*
There was a time when large take-away coffees were $5.00. Im sure they were once even cheaper so I just want to get in before the old fogies start every sentence with back in my day. Anyway, back when the price of coffee was first recorded digitally, it was a nice flat $5. Even though it was in a time when cash existed, you didnt get any change to throw in the car ash tray. Then one day you wake up and suddenly coffee is $5.50. I think we all understand inflation, micro-economics and dark wizardry, so my point is that things and prices creep up over time like a cheap pair of panties from the $2 shop (which strangely is still $2). The other thing that has been creeping up is the height of tree-fishing caches. We werent sure we were going to be able to reach this hide but at full stretch we could. Sure there was some lantana tickling my balloon knot, but Im not one to complain when Mother Nature is sniffing around my freckle. A little bit of tactful dodging and the hide was returned. tftc
We went out towards Samford to assist the Cosmic Quest to reach the 15.000.000 .....We found this camouflaged cache and signed the log. Tftc Chamad
Out with BIKESU and muggle brother Siggi for more smiles Tftc. chamad A fav point from me
Came out here to start the nearby Adventure lab and luckily when I got back to the car, I checked if there were any caches nearby only to realise I had just walked past one! A cache that can contribute to an August challenge too! This cache also gives me 100 points to get the second Cosmic Quest souvenir! TFTC Chamad Favourite point because I could get two finds at one place!
Ive struggled with my TOTT in the past with tree fishing over about 7 or 8 metres, so Ive finally obtained a TOTT perfect for the job. This was its first hit out and it made light work of this one. Super pleased, ready to tackle more tree fishing . TFTC
Had a few spare hours before heading off to my overnight accommodation, and luckily, I packed my special ToT to get the job done here.Parked on the opposite side and ended up going over a water crossing, and once near GZ, I could see another parking area that was much closer to the cache. Must of needed the exercise, I'm guessing!Looked at the wrong side of the tree to begin with, but with perseverance, I made my way around and soon spotted something glaring at me!Thank you, chamad, for placing one of my favourite types of cache hides
We saw it and we found it. While nearby doing a waypoint for an AdLab we hooked this cache.TFTC
In town and had the right TOTT so put it to use. No problems with the well theme hide but the catch was hard as a local vine had grown through it and required some effort to release. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC A fav pt
Our original plan of doing the Poohsticks EC was thwarted due to a flooding creek, so an alternative was hatched and a last adventure day with MeAndDe was saved. I only had a small handful of target caches on the Northside and they were very spread out, but that just created lots of catch up time while driving. This was one that helped me fulfill a challenge. De had already found it so she let me do the honours here. That pesky vine kept getting in my way unit I eventually got it down. Made some on-site repairs to my fishing pole which will see it last me a little longer too. Very cute container! I thought for a second I had somehow snagged my own pair on the end of my rod and transported them up there
A spot of tree fishing this arvo was on the cards. Very nice container. Found a friend nearby. TFTC. Fav point from the kids.

Another day geocaching with the Geo Five group of RoddyC hatzofff Imbunda and grannysmith1947 this time in another area of the Northside.
Made our way to Gz where we craned our necks looking for it until hatzofff located it. With their trusty Tree fishing pole RoddyC took some time to retrieve the cache due to spindly branches getting the way. Finally got it and brought it down for signing duties.
Now to get it back and I was given the task to return it to its lofty heights.

Today we continue on the North side to an area that needs some smiles. With one member on grand mother duties we were out with the Geo Five, RoddyC, hatzofff, Imbunda, Patrol14, grannysmith1947.

Another weekend group caching, GEO5.
I soon spotted the cache, and had the pole up to it. A bit awkward, as there are spindly branches and vines to contend with.
After signing the log, patrol14 did the, replacement duties.
Log signed and cache replaced as found at 3:26 PM on April 29, 2023. TFTC, chamad

Today I was caching with geo-friends and we had to change to Geo5 as 1 team member had to do grand parenting duties, RoddyC, Hatzofff, Patrol14, GrannySmith1947 and me. When I arrived at GZ the cache was soon spotted then bought to the ground and log signed and cache replaced as found. TFTC
After the CITO this morning JACS and I met for lunch with TeamARF to plan a trip . JACS mentioned this one was close to one we hoped to find after lunch. She had previously collected so gave us the lunch time PAFs!!! Easily spotted and I did the retrieval but upon returning it to its perch my hook got entangled in a vine and this remains up there too!! Good spot for a tree fish and for puppies to have a swim!
Had in mind another cache to collect this arvo then spotted this cache, literally I see you.
So on the way for takeaway Naan it was a slight detour here. Not too far away from parking the car it was there, I see you.
With the mini extending stick deployed, Gcoven had the cache in hand for the ceremonial signing. Thanks for arranging another stop at this spot chamad.

Cool cache.
Luckily I had the right tool for the task on hand and albeit a stretch I soon had it in hand and signed.
Cheers

Out doing an AL. Wandered by this one to get some info for the AL. Cars was not too far away. Seemed almost rude not too.
Loved the disguise! Quick easy find after the event today. TFTC! Adding a favourite.
Out for a delightful afternoon of caching with Chamad… with a couple of new caches about we’re working our way around the map in a very random way…
After dealing with the flatbread down the road I needed something to boast my confidence again… plus it was a chance to show tuppens my pole… and how to use it….
An easy catch and release… tftc…

DNF, but only for lack of the proper equipment. It was more of a casual outing this arvo, so had hoped there might be an appropriate stick or something nearby. Will be back some time, as I haven't yet logged this kind of tree hide!
As I searched for tott I realised that it was in the boat, what a place for it.
Improvised a way of getting to the cache, the back up equipment worked well for me.
Thank you

Easy find, just to go back to my car for the fishing rod. Needed to get my step count up anyway. TFTH TFTC
Having a free morning and no proper plan I decided to go this way for the rare DT cache.
Interesting to walk over the abandoned bridge and looking at the recent flood levels
Thanks for the fun and helping for my next loop!

My first time at using my Christmas present, my arms were shaking but got it tftc
School holidays are getting for resting up after a busy term AND for getting out when the muggles are at work. Made a caching date with mum with no real plans other than ride around in the car and get some. Decide to clean up this stretch of the road again. Always fun to do some fishing in the correct way of course. Mum did the honours here, although we did lose the bottom screw bit as it was being replaced and the pole collapsed on itself - nothing a bit of duct tape can’t fix.
Good to see the cache is aware of sun safety

Out & about this afternoon checking a few caches & finding a few caches & I wasn’t going to mention a potential FTF which remains a potential going forward .
Bris was on hand with his trusty fishing pole so we employed him to extract this one from the tree. And so he did behind the safety of foliage so the nearby Muggle didn’t witness the event thanks Carl.

Muggle65, Brislions and l spent way too long failing to find some Naan, so we decided to end on a happy note and find this one. Brislions did the honours as his TOTT was in the vehicle. Very cute cache. Thank you so much
I like it when you can spot these ones quickly as it saves a lot of neck craning. This was great having it on such a quiet section of road. TFTC
Came prepared with handy TOTT and managed to spot the cache on approach so it was a nice easy find today. No problems with retrieval or replacement thankfully. All good here. TFTC chamad
I was meeting up with the CO nearby to assist with the placement of some new caches, so decided to grab this one on the way.
This one was nice and easily retrieved and replaced which was lucky as the rain started just as I was walking back to the car.
Thanks chamad for the cache.

Continuing my fishing expedition, I was surprised to find myself back here once again. I parked as close as possible but struggled to spot the cache at Gz for a while. It got a chuckle when I did. Nice work on the container!
My pole managed the navigation between branches reasonably well. All is good inside the cache so TFTC!

Out finding a few caches with Mr CuriousQuest. The cache was quickly spotted and retrieved with the help of TotT. Log signed, cache returned to its spot and we were on our way again. TFTC
Out and about with Selva Girls to pick up some caches today. The cache was quickly located and the log signed. TFTC
Ahh memories! I remember driving through here many times before the new bridge… it was always the way to avoid after heavy rain. One day we had an acquaintance whose son tried to get through when it was flooded and his car washed away - he managed to climb out the window and escape… they retrieved the car a few days later!
Today we had a lovely time after the rain with my trusty pole. My buddy did the honours quickly and easily. Cute little cache! Thanks for the post-rain fun

Needed to get the kids out of the house for a bit, so we came out for a tree fish. We got sidetracked in Warner when we stopped to have a chat with the friendly bearded postie, but eventually we made our way here and parked close by.
I remember the old crossing, wasn't much good during a flood but it had some great old school charm to it.
Cache was quickly spotted, then we had some dramas getting it caught in every branch on the way down, seems there's quite a few. Love the big loop, makes everything easier, nicely done.
Find #12019 @ 10:19

*FifTF* Fifth to Find at 11:11 hr.
Today, with family plans in the late afternoon, I thought I would make my way north-west to Draper followed by Warner, targeting a few of the tree-fishing caches. With the summer heat, I didn't want to venture too far from the vehicle's air-conditioning, and having fun with the TOTT made it an enjoyable outing. I also learned the history of Eatons Crossing; and an experience of that letterbox hybrid cache that I won't forget in a hurry!
Like others before me, I do remember visiting *One Lane Bridge* whilst completing the relevant Adventure Lab earlier in the year, so it was nice to see a new cache at this location too. I managed to park right next to GZ, and thus it was only a short walk to the tree in question, all the while with the sounds of a whipbird. After a short search upwards, the cache was found rather quickly, and the TOTT was deployed appropriately. A nicely themed cache, and the cache container and logbook were in good shape. At least there is the confidence to know that if it survived last week's storms in that position, then it quite the reliable hiding spot and there is little chance that it will be going anywhere. Thanks chamad for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

I parked on the other side of the bridge and walked across. Lots of water flowing today. I didn’t need my glasses to make this find. Thanks for the cache
After picking up IolantheK on the way home from work we headed north for a bit of "fishing"
It sounded like it would be quite a stretch but the nice council had done some mowing [^]
IolantheK did the extraction and I re-placement [^]
No problems here despite the big storm the previous night[^]

I saw the notification last night but the CO had already disabled it before I got to the app! Something about a bit of rain ... anyway, knowing the area, I wisely left it for this afternoon
T-Tech picked me up on his way home from work and we made our way to GZ. The cache was quickly spotted and the fishing pole deployed. I was certainly at full stretch making the grab! I let the tall guy put it back TFTC, chamad.

Yippee a FTF oh what a drive storm everywhere. Was safe to be out here. Had a bit of break in the weather. Just a small one.
Got to GZ and thought have I been here before. Yes I have for a Adventure Lab. The CO Adventure Lab that was a fun Adventure Lab and story.
I had a little break in the weather to get the cache down and return. Lucky for me it had a empty log yippee. Thank you CO for keeping my streak alive.
I was lucky to get home and safe and sound.
