Find 5205 on July 6, 2024 Found on a "stuff it, let's go geocaching" type of day.Found on our way home from Halls Gap via the geo trail. All is well with the cache. TFTC Duntulum
Find number 7. Hooray!!! we made it to the end And now to turn around and ride aalllll the way back!!!Thanks Duntulum for placing all these caches. It made for an interesting ride along this great track...and excuses to get off our seats and rest our weary behinds
Found at 4:00 PM GAFF1.Parked right beside the cache, but missed it on the first scan of the area. Had to look at a few other spots and then turning around and approaching GZ from the right angle - there it was! Are there caches along the rail trail or is this it to get you started?Thanks to Duntulum
Had planned to ride this rail trail but a visit to the Halls Gap zoo this morning ate in to our caching day.Did unload the bikes here and get this one and the next but ended up driving to the rest of the series.A quick find here. Thanks Duntulum.
Find No. 4410. Found at 5.32pmA caching trip to Stawell, Lake Lonsdale and Halls Gap. Went in the car and tookGeodog Penny with us who enjoyed her day out.Heading home we made a short detour to stop and grab this one. TFTC Duntulum

Find # 11203
With the weather looking (and being) a lot better than it was meant to be. And the fact it was better than a couple of days ago. I headed out, Ararat, Stawell and Horsham for some "out of the way" caches.
Thankfully all the roads were opened (well the ones I had planned to drive down) and only water on the sides, nothing flowing over them.
A big day, big driving loop, lots of walking and a few more smilies to keep the numbers ticking over..
I cheated... no I did not walk from end to end, I drove
but still took in a few sights along the way. Here i parked up to walk into the Board walk cach...... this one was a quick find.

Mrs Riddell mucked this up and realised half way up the rail trail that she could have parked closer as a park and grab.
Braved the elements again… wind and rain in all the clobber for an easy drive by but lived more wildflowers. Many more here, daisies, lillies Hibertia, grevillea alpina, etc.
And, unfortunately it’s really really raining now.

Working in Horsham today so naturally I stopped for a cache or two with maybe a slight detour here or there! Ha ha. Thanks for the cache! I’ll be back for the walk another day!

Earlier in the day we were wishing for some new caches to be published for us to find. We must have been on Santa's nice list as if by magic right after we had finished our dinner, very good timing, up popped one cache. Then the debate will we go for it or not. This is the debate we have each time that a cache is published in the latter part of the day. Our reasoning to head out to this one was that it would be cooler and perhaps there would be less people around. Any reason is a good one and we fiddle with our thoughts until we come up with a reason that works.
The co-ords are spot on for this one making it an easy find.
We dropped a TB for the next person. SL TFTC
