On my way to the blue mountains for a midweek caching trip. Only a few caches on the way. Then in the Mountains was all over the place between Lawson and Lithgow. Well last minute change after all those puzzles solved last night, I also had to detour via Portland.TFTC Wilbert67
Reperio 4:45PMI was headed to Katoomba today for the upcoming Ultra Trail Australia event, and with a little time bit of time in the day to find some caches, thats exactly what I did. Too a little detour into Portland, and found some interesting caches. Heading out of town, I stopped by here, and was fortunate to make a quick find in a logical spot.Gratias BrocafkidsAs a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV
I managed quite a few laps of GZ before discovering where this nutty cache was hiding TFTC
I'm on my way to Portland, a place I am very familiar with but haven't visited for 5 years after the last family member living there passed on. A pretty straightforward find here, just a matter of being systematic in one's search of the structure at GZ. Thanks for placing this cache.
On our way to Portland for a days geocaching, oldmorty and I picked up a few along the way.Nice quick park and grab. Thanks to Brocafkids for hiding this cache.

Interesting to find out about the person behind the great artwork in Portland. Thanks for all your caches in this area. We really enjoyed our day caching in Portland and the surrounding area.
#6540-Good to get back with thomo31 and get this one. After feeling our way, we finally found it. Needs maintenance though as it is missing a cap. Thanks

I was here today visiting family and we decided to do a spoop of the new Portland caches. I had already picked one up at Blaxland on the way through the mountains but it was a fine, sunny afternoon and Irondale and I decided to make hay while the sun shines.
The coordinates for this one had us in the right place. From then on it was a systematic search. TFTC Brocafkids. Been seeing your logs all over the place in my caching travels.

Coordinates changed from:
S 33° 21.721 E 149° 59.002
Coordinates changed to:
S 33° 21.718 E 149° 59.008
Distance from original: 35.6 feet or 10.8 meters.
After 2 DNF's I thought I better check on this one. The cache is still in position, Co-ordinates have be revised as they were out by 9m. Hopefully this rectifies any issues
