Logs
I needed an entry for the calendar and the streak tally, so Luca and I headed for this one. Thanks Budgie for replacing it so quickly, at least we knew where we were heading. In what must have been an auspicious sign, just as we alighted from our conveyance, a plane was taking off to the east, almost right overhead. To say that the 3 yr old was impressed was an understatement. He thought that the use of a TOTT was hilarious, he is used to looking under things for caches. The log was quickly signed, and the cache returned to its resting place.A pleasant afternoon distraction.
Having been here with a previous finder, I returned to retrieve and log it myself. I was disappointed to see a bare GZ. Photos sent to CO
I stopped by this cache for a look on the final afternoon of my trip to Tasmania from Adelaide to visit family and friends and find a few caches.
I had already returned the pole and ladder I had borrowed for the trip and couldn't see anything suitable to improvise with, so it will have to wait for another day.
Thanks Budgietas - next time!

Today we decided to tackle the caches in the area that have been published since our last visit and this was one of them.
Having solved this puzzle previously with help we made the find, Yep up there! Unfortunately the container was very heavy as it was full of water, we dried it out and replaced the log book and ziplock bag.
Thanks Budgietas for placing this cache for our enjoyment.

I’ve been sitting on these solved coords for months now and I’ve finally had some time to duck out to the airport and catch that flight.
Logbook is soaked but I managed to pry it open and sign it. The return journey was very rough with the plane bouncing all over and it hit turbulence twice before it was able to land properly.

When we first looked at this puzzle, there were many aspects to explore. After a short time, one aspect looked very interesting and we soon had confirmed coordinates.
Today we needed a puzzle for our puzzle calendar and we decided to come south as there are very few unfound puzzles in the north of the state. We had a number of options but limited traffic on the roads and fine weather tempted us further south than originally intended. So we ended up looking for this cache.
We appreciated the track to GZ. Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find and with the appropriate TOTT, the appropriately themed cache was retrieved despite the gusty breeze. Unfortunately the logbook was saturated. It was in a sealed plastic bag - can only conclude that the very wet log had been put into the bag and sealed following a previous find. The logbook was tearing as we attempted to open it. So we found a blank spot where we got it partly opened and just managed to roughly "sign" the log. A photo of our mark on the log is included with this log.
Thanks Budgietas for a well constructed puzzle and the cache. It earns a favourite from us. However maintenance is required.

Thanks for the puzzle cache Budgietas.
There were some many possibilities to solve the puzzle - I was all over the place trying to find a solution. My network came good with a hint and I soon had a tick from the geochecker. Today RLD4963, the two GeoGSP's and I made our way to GZ with a couple of tools to see if we could spot and retrieve the cache.
Well we spotted it no problem, and to retrieve it, we needed to stand in just the right place. It was still tricky to get it down. Eventually we got there. As noted before the cache did have water in it - looks like there's a crack in the silicon and so water is getting in from above. We very carefully added our names to the log and then put the cache back in place (much easier than the retrieval!).
A favourite from me for an excellently themed puzzle cache in an appropriate location.

Out and about with the Rafa family caching.TFTC TNLN log damp and pages stuck together. Did the best we could to sign log. Pole was at the limit but standing up hill just gave up that little bit extra height, was almost the hardest retrieval ever but got there in the end a beautiful sunny summers day nice to watch the cricket or go visit the yachts.
Solved the puzzle, found the cache… just not tall enough, even with what we thought would be the right equipment. Can't say we didn't find it .... we just couldn't sign the log! Will have to return with .... something else!
tassietan and I are out for a caching day after a long stint on the mainland for me.
We had solved this a while ago and headed off with our TOTT.
Unfortunately both at around 165cm with a 7m pole we didn't have the height required to retrieve the cache

It was a late start today after a mess dinner last night and we were going to head north this afternoon in search of a new puzzle that we'd solved over brunch, but once we noticed FTF had gone we thought we'd head here with the puppy instead. Once at GZ the apt container was spotted and the fun began. Unfortunately the cache was full of water, making the retrieval extra challenging but we got there in the end. We emptied the water and thankfully managed to sign the first page of the logbook as it was too soggy to change pages. The cache was then returned easily but it will need a bit of maintenance. TFTC!

Hello Budgietas thank you for the cache
I was lucky that EeePees had solved the puzzle so I drove to a likely spot to park.
After a short walk and a little search the cache was soon spotted.
I needed to go back to the car before able to sign the log.
At least I found an easier way to walk to the cache.
Another great evening caching with EeePees.

Got to GZ without the required tool, as no mention in the description or attributes for such requirement.
So I'm writing this while my associate makes the long trek back to the geomobile.
Just glad we didn't walk in from the other side.!
A bit of nighttime caching is always fun, a plan was hatched, and so it transpired that AlbyDangles picked me up from work and we headed out, not quite dusk.
It's well dark now, and so this one needed the torch to eventually reveal itself.
It was pretty wet, including the logbook, sadly.
As for the puzzle, well lets just say that I needed a nudge (from a travel agent) but the checker did not agree with me. Ok, so turns out if I enlarge the info on the phone screen, letters become clearer - well, not looking like some others! Yay, the checker finally gave the all clear to take off.
Thanks Budgietas for the cache and the adventure.
A great night out, as always.

I was with the CO when this cache was hidden so knew where it was but still wanted to solve the puzzle before finding and logging it.
My pole has been rolling around in the back of my car for weeks. After very busy days at work, it was nice to get out and do something for me!
Nice thought in regards to Wilco, and not far form one of his classics.
Thanks Budgietas

We were out this way with the grandkids and after tree fishing, riding scooters along the back of the airport we went searching for aircraft. The photo shows we caught the big one. Thanks for the fun. TFTP

When the notification came out last night we thought that we could easily fly high with this one.
Quickly spotted some useful information which needed a little massaging but numbers were up in the air and the checker certainly didn't want us to check in. Looked at a number of alternatives and gathered some more data but still up in the clouds.
This morning we were very busy with geo-daughter and her family and lady membsec continued on to visit geo-son. After lunch Male membsec looked at all the info again without success and then pondered a more generic approach using his basic geographic training. Figures looked good and google maps was happy but still not allowed to move beyond the check in point.
After a quick message to the CO to see if his airline was still flying, noticed a slight change in flight plans and with the change up came the approval for check in and take off.
Just good timing as Lady membsec returned, TOTT loaded and off on a much trodden road to one of our favourite areas. Short walk had us ready to help the cache with its landing instructions and a slightly bumpy approach led to the opening of the "door" and a clean log book emerged. The really hard part was getting the trip air borne after signing in but that was managed and happily the FTF was claimed. Have a great trip to the far corners of the world Budgie.
Great to remember Wilco in such a positive way.
TFTC (sorry we are out of favourites until we get a few more caches!!!).
