Had no ideas here. Checked a few magnetic spots but they werent at GZ, none of them revealed a cache. TFTH
Tasmania Trip Day 7. I only stayed in Queenstown overnight, but I got a great feel for the place and would love to spend more time here. My target today was Hobart, but although the total distance did not seem too high, the nature of some of the roads and the lack of towns made for a longer sparser trip than I had expected. There were plenty of great nature spots along the way and when I did at last reach a bigger spot, New Norfolk, I had an enjoyable time exploring the town. I had expected more in Hamilton, but alas did not even get lunch there. After getting into Hobart I checked into my motel in Battery point and headed out on foot. I visited the coastal section of the pint end finished in Salamanca place for dinner and a few virtual caches before heading back up the hill to my accommodation. This was one of many of the drive by caches I found on this trip. At least it was a drive by once I navigated the new road works in the area to get onto this river side road. Thanks for the cache thehunnybunnys45957.26 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & 2013 Compass Rose Tezcatlipoca A#273**Albida**
Whilst awaiting a hint for the new cache across the river I headed over to grab this one. TFTC
27 December 2023 23:01Decided to get some inspiration after my second visit (in the dark) to another nearby cache.Have read extensively about the nearby building. I hope once the road opens back up it will be able to be preserved.Tftc thehunnybunnys

On my way home from work in Launceston, I stopped here to look for this cache. Initially I searched the entire thing looking for the cache and even resorted to looking in other places. I had all but given up when I checked the last find date which was 3 days ago so I looked again expanding my search and eventually found it.
A bit of cache creep on this one.
Thanks for the cache!

Yay, Found it.
parkrun, disc golf, BBQ lunch, and now a few geocaches - I'm happy with that.
A nice easy find, now waiting for a car to move on so I can replace it!
Thanks thehunnybunnys, for the cache and the adventure.
Cheers, EPs.

Recent road works have altered the area where this cache is located. We have relocated it nearby and will update the location tonight.
Wonderful cache and easy find. It was visible though I walked past it the first time and me cords were a bit slow. Covered cache again so not so visible, although camouflage colour. Tftc,
Thank you for the cache pencil has been broken. So bring your own.
Thank you. Nice info on the history.

This was on my list of to do today and a quick find was made. part of the fun of geocaching is the information gained from the cache description or information signs around GZ. Thank you for the information about the Black Snake Inn.
Moved from Brighton to Hobart showground today out this afternoon for a few caches, TFTC.
After getting coffee this was our first stop of the day and as I was looking in the wrong spot goose was on the money and soon had the cache in hand.
An interesting location, thanks for bringing me here.
A day out caching with Goose today as Budgietas was just out of ISO and wanted to see the real world, so Goose and I grabbed a few I had missed and a few Goose had missed when I was out with Budgie.
Thanks for the cache.

Our first cache of the day, after stopping for coffee first as we always do. We made incorrect assumptions as we approached but a small widening of the search soon revealed the cache.
Thanks thehunnybunnys
After a couple of weekends doing other things (ISO due to being a close contact after being away the long weekend previous), it was good to get out again. Budgie had just been released and had exciting adventures planned for himself (you know, the Supermarket and that kind of thing) so stainless steel rat and I decided in what we call a 'clean up run' where we go and find the new suburban hides that have been published, or one of us had found without the other.
It was a day out caching.
Thanks thehunnybunnys

Hi the hunnybunnys, I can remember the Black Snake Inn from when I was a boy and we did, on occasion, buy an icypole here on the way to Launceston, must have been late 1960's I reckon. Thanks for the history lesson I enjoy learning about buildings. Mrs PC does more so and she also enjoyed reading about the Inn. Now the porkchop in me came out here, you know when you following the GPS and all of a sudden you think you know where the hide is that was me today lol, plenty of options for a cache to sit. Finally found it hiding away from view, that is a nicely camouflaged hide using nature to disguise it. Thanks again for your hides thoroughly enjoyed my wander around the three of them today.
Reasonably accurate coordinates and an obvious hide location led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks TheHunnyBunnys for the cache
After grabbing a swag of Mystery caches (7) i wanted this Traditional Cache coz it was in my path I parked in a wee small spot but off the road at GZ.
I walked over to make the find after inspecting a couple of spots first. Took the booty back to the GeoMobile to SL in comfort outta the stinging sun, now the clouds have cleared

[Loved that nice old mansion... Black Snake Inn. With that deck repaired it would be a nice place to sit out on with a brew in hand just enjoying the view ]

Found with ABear71. Our first cache for 2022. Bonus FTF. Thanks for the cache.
Out for a drive after some babysitting earlier on in the day. Great view, we only drove past here last Thursday. Saw that the ftf had gone but couldn’t resist on getting our first cache for the year. We also wanted to see if we could made a sad face nearby into a happy face.
