Thanks for your amazing cache Phronimos. I really appreciate the time you took to set up and maintain your caches. All good here. Found with Fisha1288. Cheers, Cympull.

Last cache of the day, enrolee home... whew! that road came up quick, even though I had been counting down meters & gave the cache-mobile driver plenty of warning! had to reverse a bit, before attempting the squeeze. Saw the farmhouse down the road & wondering where a stock truck would go for access,... luckily the house is far enough away to not take much notice, and it was a quick easy grab. TFTC!
This was a good one, enjoyed looking at the structure and driving throughTFTC
I don't think I'd fit if I tried to walk through. Good thing I was inside my car. TFTC.

Tak uvidm, bude-li siln detivo, budu spt.In the morning I left Hastings in sunny and warm weather and in the evening I arrived in the cold and rain of the Tongariro National Park. The road was nice and scenic, so I stopped at various monuments and railway bridges and hunted for caches. I had several DNFs today and some caches were wet and logbooks were full. Still, thanks to all owners for their caches and greetings from the Czech Republic.
Found in the dark on our way home from the Gentle Annie Rd, was a bit scarey coming through, just hoped we had room to turn around OK. Glad we can tick this one off at last! TFTC.
Found on our way back from Taihape tonight - we were definitely skinny enough to make it through with no worries. Nice quick find at GZ with Punga & Paua and Jagersmum. TFTC!!!
Nice little trip away with woolwood9 - this was the first day.*Fairly late start for us but getting along nicely!* Another good cache which was soon found.Always thought this place should have a geocache!SL tm/ww NZ *Thank you for giving us a reason to stop at this location.*
Found on our a trip away with tmann421, heading north for a few days.Have always liked this tiny underpassNice quick find, all in order hereSigned log tm/ww NZTFTC
We had a quick family visit in Palmerston North and was heading back home to Turangi. I have been meaning to stop here for awhile, so today, in between rain showers I dashed out retrieved, signed and replaced the cache, before the rain came back down. Last cache find for the year.
Quick easy find in the rain this morning. Loving the tight squeeze. Thanks for the cache
10.20am. Have never noticed this in the many times I have driven past. Plenty of room to get through to the parking and a quick find.
Thank you. David and Noeline.
Thank you. David and Noeline.
Watched a ute with horse trailer make its way carefully through the tunnel. Easy find. Thanks for placing the cache
Year obviously bilit back in the day when cars were smaller. Not sure if I was oversized but I parked up and walked through to make the find. TFTC
Stayed the night in my van at Whakapapa Village, just done some cache maintenance on Mnt Ruapehu, later I will place a few caches today. It's warm as but raining on Ruapehu when I left there, oh dear... fine as here and it looks like it will stay that way now.
I saw a foto on the cache page of the bus almost in the tunnel, I have my van in there, but with plenty of room! No problem with the cache here.

I had often passed by here wondering what was on the other side. Found parking and made a quick find here. So the log book has been signed and the cache is nicely back in its place all ready for the next geo-hunter. Thanks heaps for taking the time to set up this cache. I really appreciate your efforts in doing so. TFTC
A cool little tunnel. Looked in the wrong place initially. But didn’t take long once found correct spot. Great location. Kimbathelion dropped off a TB. Tftc
Heading back to the Bay still grabbing caches. Looked at the wrong end but eventually got it. Was a bit squeezy. Dropped a TB. Tftc
It was with great pleasure that this cache was easily located today as my last visit here the post/ etc had been driven into and the cache had disappeared so it was a did not find but today it was easily located, signed and replaced and we continued on our way north a little further . I took nothing and left nothing and all was well with the cache - being doubled containered the log was lovely and dry . Thank you for this cache .
Today we are making our way south from Gordonton to Feilding for a belated Christmas catchup with one of our daughters and her family, and of course we are finding a few selected caches along the way. There is no parking on the southbound side of the road so we went on a bit and found somewhere to safely U-turn. Parked at the end of the road and soon had the cache in hand. Certainly is a bit of a squeeze here. Thanks.
#13,313. Park and grab on Deacons Road in Taihape. GZ was all quiet at the time of our visit. Quick find. The cache was in good condition, all nice and dry inside. But unfortunately, Enjoy The Journey was not in the cache. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.
Guess that if we were in a 4.3m high motorhome, we would have to be airlifted in to see the deacon. Wondered why there does not appear to be any Google Street View of GZ. The Google surveillance vehicle, with its cameras and all the associated equipment paraphernalia, would most probably exceed 3 metres in height. However, if it is still less than 3.6m tall, it could still have gotten through by leaning 90 degrees and driving on the sidewalls.
Thanks for the placement, and for bringing us to this site, and …

Found on the way to Rotorua for a Family Christmas. I left at lunchtime today, and manged to arrive lunchtime two days later. Rather quicker than expected! Yep Geocaching is the slowest route between two points!
I hired a car for this trip. It was from a rather cheap car hire place (and in fact that its pretty close to the company name). The reason why they are cheap is that the vehicles are awful. They don't even have an aux port to install a USB charger - but they put one in for me. The cars are also tiny. Getting through this tunnel was trivial. As was finding the cache.

This was the third cache I found today during my drive up to the Bay of Plenty from Wellington. I have noticed this tight tunnel/bridge numerous times in the past but have never driven through it. I'd always wondered if my vehicle was narrow enough to fit through the gap, and today was the day I'd find out if it could. I turned off state highway 1 while heading northbound and approached the gap. I had absolutely zero difficulty driving my vehicle through this gap (maybe all my years of driving around Wellington's windy narrow hilly roads prepared me for this).
However, what did prove difficult for me was finding this cache. After parking at GZ, I hopped out of my car to begin searching. My (phone) GPS was constantly pointing me to one area in particular, which I spent a decent amount of time searching. I spent about 5 minutes unsucessfully searching in this particular spot. I decided to expand my search area but was still unable to locate the cache. I read some previous logs and most people didnt seem to have much difficulty finding it. 'What am I doing wrong here?' I thought to myself.
I quickly returned to the car to fire up my GPS GPS which, after locating satelites, also pointed me back to the location I was originally searching. After another few minutes thoroughly searching the original spot, and being on the brink of giving up, I found it. Staring straight back at me.
How? How did I miss this in all my minutes of searching? How did I have so much difficulty finding this? If this cache could speak, it would be mocking me for not checking a couple more inches to the side.
Having finally found it, I signed the logbook and rehid it before continuing on my journey north.

On my way to Tongariro in the rain, the whole day, I found some caches.
Thanks.
Easy.
Thanks.
Easy.
Had a look around. First timer so was a bit lost. It’s only down the road from my house so will travel back again.
One of a few caches found on our drive from the Kāpiti Coast to Morrinsville today. Not too much of a squeeze for a small car. The cache was a quick find. #5594. TFTC.
Not a squeeze for the rav. Driven past this site numerous times. No trains going over the crossing while I was there. TFTC
I'm on a road trip to the far north, attempting to complete the PWGT Tahi Geotour.
This is day one, heading from home to the bustling metropolis of Huntly.
Will expand on my logs, post photos, qualifying caches for challenges, etc. When I get home. TFTC
That IS a tight squeeze!

Heading south today. This was a bit of fun. Narrow enough for my SUV let alone a campervan. I wonder how the farmer gets his tractor and farm equipment in and out. There’s gotta be another way in surely. Made a quick find and I was on my way. TFTC
I've driven past here many times over my 70+ years and never stopped until today I assume any stock loaded out from the farms up this road must go via small trucks that fit the gap under the bridge TFTC
Had to do this one! Certainly easier to approach travelling north. No problems squeezing through in our small car with two bikes on the back. Thanks for the fun Phronimos, a favourite added.
#11,644. I am heading south to Wellington today. Was going to pick this one up 3 weeks ago but it was snowing steadily just as I reached this altitude. Today I stopped on the way home. I have driven up this road plenty of times and amazingly I have never noticed this feature before. Good sign I guess as I must have had my eyes focused on the road ahead. Parked and wandered over to GZ. Nice quick find here. Thanks Phronimos for the cache.
Have come through from Napier on a roadie- had to do this small detour on the way. Many thanks
Come away for the weekend caching with Squirrel Nutcase and FapnGap. Making our way South stopping in Taihape for the night. Quick squeeze and we soon had this cache in hand. Tftc
With (Mr) Davidson Clan and Gap (of Fap and Gap)… On a boy’s weekend roadtrip south.
A tricky side road to navigate off the main road. Gap had to drive on then turn back… It took a couple of ‘looks’ to bring out the cache. It was all good here in the dark. Thanks Phronimos and TFTC.

easier to access this cache travelling north than south.

bit of as search in the dark to find

We had never noticed this road or entrance to the road before, it definitely felt like a squeeze but in reality, there was plenty of room for our van. Managed to park so that the headlights of the van shone right at GZ and the cache was in hand soon after. Thanks for bringing us to the cool little spot. TFTC

Phew I wouldn't want my little Puddle Jumper to be any smaller .
It's funny how you can drive past spots like this many times thinking to yourself it would be fun to explore but you never bother. I spotted this bridge just in time today and fortunately there were no other vehicles around to spot my inelegant zip through the tunnel. It's surprisingly boring on the other side but maybe the road is worth exploring on another trip.

A quick find on our way north. Have often seen this so it was nice to have an excuse too stop.
Found by Blenheim Bear on a wee day out checking bridges in Taihape, nice weather and a very unusual structure, glad I did not bring the van.. Thanks for the cache all good today. Blenheim Bear
Found so hubby said they used to get the log trucks through this underpass, the bolsters were able to be folded down to make it. Thanks for the placement.
Squeezed in for a park and grab on my way to Turangi for two nights. Thanks Phronimos for the cache.

I fear this has gone if it was attached to a wooden box the box is now smashed to pieces see photos . yes i would want to drive any thing bigger than a normal car through this narrow tunnel .
6 February 2022 16:24. Its still pouring down, but I thought skinny thoughts and tried to dance between the raindrops for this one (yeah right). No problem woth the find, and a TB dropped off. TFTC!
Made it to the marvelous Mega from Chch so now we are on our way home. This squeeze made me think of my parents' semi detached house in Watford UK. The driveway between the 1930s houses is too narrow for todays' cars so people pave their front gardens to park on, extend the houses at the back where the garage was plus build rooms into the now 3rd floor roof space. Expansion! We got in and out safely so Tftc.
A nice quick find thanks. First find on the way from Ohakune, and in an interesting spot. The car is running well!
Time for another trip to the North Island for Ms_KR and me. Well We got the car back, but there were too many check engine lights on for comfort, so the autoelectrician was called and he sorted the issue. Yus back on the road again.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

On a week long trip up and down the middle part of the North Island. Same weekend as the Mega event in Auckland (but that's not where I ended up). Targeting a few specific caches, and a few others. This is one of them.
No problem fitting the Yetimobile through the gap for a quick find. All good here, TFTC

It feels like it's taken forever for the day of the Auckland MEGA to finally get here, and it's been a hell of a journey for everyone involved with trying to organise it. But today is my big drive up to Auckland for tomorrows event such as it can be under the shadow of COVID restrictions. As with all big drives, it's also an opportunity to try and grab some caches on the way. In particular I was looking to find some of the PWGT1 caches as well as one or two targeted caches of interest to me.
I didn't see this particular cache get published as it's outside of my notifications range, but spotted it as I was compiling a list of caches to stop at on my drive north. I do like a quirky cache, and the location falls into that category for me.
I am in a rental car today. Not quite a tank, but it feels like it to me as I've spent the last month driving around in a VW Golf. Even this 'family size' vehicle felt like it had to breath in to get through the gap lol! Once through though, it did not take me long to locate the cache, and sign the log etc. Only the third finder, but I'm sure that will change soon
Thanks for setting this one up. Gets a FP from me for the quirkiness.

No problems for the mighty Nissan Tiida today, squeezed it through (sideways!?!) and turned on a sixpence. Located the cache nice and quick and signed in the Silver Medal position. 2TF, yay. Thanks for the cache Phronimos, my first of a few of yours in the coming future I suspect.
We're off down to Manawatu region for a few days, staying with our daughter in Taihape with a few trips to Marton, Feilding and Bulls for some house viewing and work interview purposes during our stay. This is in advance of me moving down here for work in the coming months. Had a few caches on a few mini pocket queries, and rapidly approaching a 14000 find landmark. Thanks to all COs for their caches.

We had just finished finding A Swinging Good Time and I consulted the map again. What’s this? A Geocache I forgot to add to the list when I created it last week? Oh, it was published a couple of days ago - that makes sense!
Off we went to hopefully nab a FTF. Impeccable timing on our part being so close to it. Thankfully turning in was okay as the road was quiet and since we weren’t driving a motor home we squeezed in the gap.
What a peculiar little structure this is. Once at GZ the cache was soon in hand. A quick photo of the boys inside the box and we are on our way.
