Logs
Found it but beware with kids as its right next to 2 baited traps. The black box is not the cache!
Up in Whangarei for a few days and today we picked up a lot of caches through walking around the river walkways and up Parihaki summit. Beware the rodent traps here - very close to the cache. Great views, TFTC
Found with Dali87 within our famous trip around New Zealand. Thanks for nice cache ....................................................................... TB Koumesovo geopivo DDEV7M
Checked this one tonight whilst on my exercise jaunt. Cache is actually all fine, with a bit of swag and nice dry log.Just a note for future cachers, a black rat bait station and a wooden stoat trap have been placed very near to this cache since it was published, but there is no need to touch these at all. The cache is an appropriately themed container, which will become obvious once you find it.
Definitely Time for refreshments .. the stairs from the Ross track are a killer for those that aren't used to doing daily step classes - very glad to have a reason to stop and to see a nice big cache too! TFTC
Our first geocaching adventure with our wee man in a backpack (10months) and our 4 year old and all the family present. We parked at the top headed down the Ross track down to the mine then up into Mackesy bush. Ohhhhh so many stairs, especially that track up to mackesy. But 4 year old managed all the walking so we are proud of her. Only 1 DNF today but it's a night cache so not going to log as DNF, and we managed to find one we have DNF twice yay..... thanks for all the hides. Divided up tracks to gain more finds and sent raptor to car. Raptors 3rd find with baby
I couldn't spot anything that related to the hint, but had no trouble finding it anyway.
I left a homemade rattll coin here, and spent the rest of my walk craving KFC - yum!
Thanks for putting this here

On a mission to get all the cache on this track this morning. Ticked that off so now I'll back track to Kohe street, cause I'm not sure how easy it is to walk Memorial Drive. And hey the steps are all down hill now.. Good to see active trapping in the area too.
Out for a walk this morning to collect a few caches for Geocaching day. This was a tough walk up from the Ross track, but the views were great. Nice quick find with the hint, TFTC
Out and about with the kids. Parked up on the road to get these couple of caches. Walked down to GZ after getting the one at the top. Once at GZ hint was clear. Found the nice sized cache. Signed and replaced. TFTC
1753. 3:15 pm. I originally thought it was another HIPS. Thankfully it wasn't. TFT(refreshing)C.

Well I was already planning an ftf mission this morning to get yesterdays two hides. More excitement this morning when two more appeared. I'd geared my son to come with me. Then I'd drop him at school (hopefully on time) and head to work, again, hopefully on time.
We left home at 7am and as expected had a free run with the traffic at this hour. We drove up the mountain with the GPS on looking for parking spots. We ended up doing a u-turn at the top and coming back down. We parked at the Black Manuka cache and walked to this one from there.
I can see why this trail gives you a good workout. We had to find this one after already logging the ftf accidentaly. A nice big one here. I would have dropped a travel bug but I wasn't sure if I'd picked them up properly after my trip. {FTF} #201 here at 7.39am. In the end my son was early to school and I was an hour to early to work too. My son in Otago rang just as I parked so we had a long chat which was nice. Thanks for this mornings fun (4ftfs) and a huff and a puff heading back up
