Wanted to get a quick find in for the end of the long weekend. Pulled in after visiting my uncle in hospital. A short walk from the nearest entry and I was able to locate the cache in no time. Unfortunately it was a bit waterlogged from recent rain. Although the log book was zip-locked, it was still damp and difficult to write on. Might need a look into. TFTC
Catching up on some old logs today as I try to get closer to being fully up to date as I can. I find that having a backlog is a pain, with the more logs sitting there the less and less motivated I am to doing them all and getting myself fully up to date, but with myself setting a deadline mentally to be fully completed I knew I had to pull my finger out and get it all done. This one from memory was a quick little find all in all with my notes saying it was a nice little reserve. Anyways thanks for the cache and the little adventure.
I had a little time to go caching today, so headed to FTG. A pleasant walk along the trail. Not a muggle to be seen, although I could hear them a little way off. Judging by the sounds of children playing and the PA announcements, there was an interschool netball tournament in progress at the nearby courts. The cache is nicely tucked away in its hiding spot. All in good dry condition. TFTC lozanna
Today's task was to find caches in the Knox LGA for a challenge cache...so on this chilly day I hit the road picking up solved puzzle caches and random Trads because the planned plan did not go to plan. This was one of the caches collected today. At GZ l was momentarily led astray before re accessing things and finding this cache.
I'm always trying to find caches on 25th of the month to fulfill a challenge. A quick stop on my way home. Great little swathe of bushland. Thanks
Needed to fill a calendar spot, this was the cache to do it with today. My gps directed me around some lovely streets to a parking spot by an entrance to the path. Thought I had to brave snakey long grass to get to cache but realised a neat dirt secondary path went in the right direction. Relatively quick find. TFTC
Well, I parked at the netball courts and found a river, so drove to the other side and made the find. I have never seen a duck swimming in a netball court before. Be careful to all those finders at the moment because the creek is flowing fast. Thanks for the cache.
I had come over this way primarily to find the last cache I needed to qualify for the **Z-Z-Z - Challenge** cache... and while I was in the area, I went hunting out more caches so I could close in on the 100 Finds required for ** 100 Finds in the Knox LGA Challenge **. This cache was a nice, easily found cache in a quite reserve. Thanks **lozanna** for putting it here.
This is one of the reasons I love Geocaching. I travel along the opposing bike bath all the time but didn't know this far more interesting trail was here. Will use the route in the future.Cache is in good condition.
A quick detour on the way to work because I was early for a change, a nice little path and an easy find after a false start which made it harder than it should've been. Thanks for the detour
We had to find this fast as we were parked in a no standing zone.
Lovely house owner gave us the heads up.
Netball was in full swing on Sunday morning. Very limited parking.
Thankfully it was a very fast find.
It was a fast find too!

Between the blasts of the umpires whistle KenneallyKrew and I made a dash for the cache. TFTC
Geoturtle37 and I would have found this much faster had we gone to the correct elevation first time. Nice quick easy find when we did so. Thanks for placing the cache for us to find.
Papi and I should have taken notice of where our GPS's were taking us but we thought we knew better . . . . . wrong. Thanks for the cache.
In FTG to run a few errands. Thought I would brighten up my afternoon by finding a few caches in the area. A quick easy find . Thanks Iozanna.
Myself and Cooper from fisherfamfive headed for this one after about two hours getting some caches in the area. He had already found this one but didn't need to give me much of a hint except "wrong side of the path" before the cache was found. Picked up the TB. Tftc lozanna
Found it! The trail less travelled was rather busy tonight with dog walkers wandering along in both directions. At GZ my phone took me to one spot but no luck. I then turned around and spotted a more promising hiding place. Once in the right position, I found it. And that is when some dog walkers arrived and wondered what I was doing. Saying I was bird watching, a currawong to be precise, has I took some photos of the overhead tree branches. After some bird banter, they walk off and I was free to sign the log book, take note of the TB and replace the cache. TFTC SL And yes there were currawongs flying amongst the tree tops.
Out today to clear out some caches without smileys in our local area. After parking nearby and walking over to GZ, the cache was shortly in hand. Tftc lozanna
Bingo bango - happy find whilst inMarvellous Melbs again and in familiar territory. TFTC and the fun.
I went out caching today with canine sleuth, Pilot, and Ronice88. While Pilot and I were still waiting for our phone to settle down, and sniffing a few bushes, Ronice made a quick find. This is a nice area for dog walking, away from the traffic.
Thanks lozanna
Thanks lozanna
We arranged to meet quiet1_au here but we were running a little late, so q1 had already been to GZ twice and returned with us a 3rd time, so the track was well travelled today haha. Cache was a nice easy find. q1 took the TB then gave it to us as he doesn't mind just discovering them, where as I prefer to actually take them on a journey lol

A short afternoon caching run with G&J of GJMMelb. I arrived first so went to GZ and found the cache, retrieved the geocoin but doh! nothing to write with... Back to the car to get a pen (and checking it worked thankfully - the first was stuffed...) and back to GZ again to log my visit. G&J arrived after I had left so back again to GZ for a third time. TFTC
Walking around the Ferny Creek we discovered this nice cache. Thank you from travellers from Berlin
Found at 09:00
In the area with some time so a few caches were in order. Found quickly in this nice quiet spot.

After finding but not logging yesterday, I was back today with a pen (and a travel bug I've hung onto for way too long).

A nice easy find, but an unplanned one while one a bike ride without a pen. I'll log it and claim a find another time.

It was all quiet near GZ and we found the cache quickly. Thanks to Iozanna for the cache.
Feeling a little flat today so thought some fresh air would do me some good so ventured out to find a couple of quick caches.
This one was first on my list. Relatively quick park and grab which was easy to locate thanks to it being hidden in a logical spot.
Thanks for the hide!

First geocaching trip with the family out of iso! Nice stroll down from the cafe we had lunch at. Impressive set of netball courts - will remember this location for training the geokid on her bike! Quick find. TFTC
I once lived in this area for over 20 years, have ridden along the nearby trail many, many times. However, I’ve never ever walked this track before… until today.
Thanks for bringing me here today by placing this cache, lozanna

Out and about with the grandkids giving mum time to work. Great sunny day and with lots of nibbles we checked out another green space here. Nice easy find here. thanks for the cache lozanna
A nice quick find at 10:46 at night while doing a treasure finding run in the area.
On my list for a while, tonight I combined the run with the cache - and excuse for a break. Cache in good condition.
Thanks to lozanna for the placement, fun and adventure.

Back in Victoria for the weekend and with the little one fast asleep in the car, the partner drove me towards this cache for a look. After parking relatively nearby I nipped out of the car and once I was looking in the right spot, the cache was found tucked away. TFTC Iozanna
We found this cache today on our Ferntree Gully Morning Frolic. The main path here, we have walked and ridden on many times. In fact, one of the waypoints from our very first cache placement from 2004 is only 90m from this spot. This path, we have not been on before. Thanks from D & HA B-A.
Found 7:37 am
A quick find on a sunny no wind morning. Glad to see another local cache placed and the other cache nearby archived at long last. Some impressive sporting facilities nearby with and extension in build too at the moment.

Out for a bike ride today and did a big circle from home around and back.
Last week while doing the never-ending story series we were going to stop by and do these as well but ran out of time. That was a good thing because it was much easier today with the bike. All the parks and locations were deserted and the caches were found in good places out of the way muggles.
Thanks lozanna for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Out of isolation and out to find some new caches in the area, how exciting! Had a nice bike ride, collecting some caches on a nice warm night. Nice easy find here, tftc!
Found by Rebel Acts
Another Sunday out caching with Omegaman1971 while the girls were at dog training, was good to see some more new caches pop up in the area, we just had to turn them into smiles. The weather was perfect for caching today.
This is one of the caches found today.

Out with Rebel Acts for a few hours of caching on a Sunday morning.
Great to have some new caches on my local map, and the weather was absolutely perfect for cache hunting
Cheers lozanna for the new smiles on the map.

Out with BoabTree, we were caching in the Wantirna / Knoxfield area.
This may be the trail less travelled, but we travelled it today. Thanks Iozanna.

After a 'one for the dogs' first to find, found without my dog, I felt guilty and thought I should take my dog for a walk to the nearest unfound cache which was this on a road less traveled. tftc
This is definitely the trail less travelled, but we travelled it today. The cache was found quickly and easily in the expected location.
New cache in the area!! My current area is empty of available caches and it was great to see a couple pop up .. I grabbed then on the way to do the shopping at mountain gate .. the blind creek trail can be very busy at times but today was very hot so I expect this kept the muggles away... thanks lozanna for placing the cache.
{FTF} #9!!! Found at 18:17
What? Another new published cache?! They don't normally get published at two different times in the day. Ooo its close to home again, but again I am not at home
The email came in that another new cache was published, which really shocked me. After my FTF earlier in the day on "GC9MMFQ Natasha's Hide." I was already in the geocaching mood. Forget the heat I am ready for more and as I am working on my multi month challenge I drove about 10km to work on another multi cache.
I was halfway through solving the GZ coordinates when the email came in. I had the internal debate, leave the multi half unfinished and attempt for another FTF, or stay finish the multi and maybe the FTF would be available later. But after getting the previous FTF in the day I had only ever gotten two FTF in one day once, and that was a part of a series. This would be two seperate FTFs in two seperate locations. I figured I had to try.
Another stressful drive to GZ, getting stuck at all the red lights. Another frantic checking of my phone to see if anyone had logged it. I parked at the nearest park lot. No cars..... could another FTF opportunity be upon me? As I headed over to GZ....no other people, no other cachers...my confidence grew. Once I arrived at GZ my searching was so sporadic, checking every little thing. I was so excited about a second FTF I had forgotten to check the D/T rating, the attributes or the size. However, after about 10 min. of not finding it I figure I should actually read the cache page. A good idea always I know lol. I knew I needed to calm down, read the cache page and lock into my geosenses. The next spot I check the cache was in hand.
I love this little walking track, have visited this one a few time before. It was a great little find, and my first double FTF day without the caches being in the same series! TFTC.
