Hi there coral.sea.cat, we found your cache Half Tide Beach Park today. Its day 19 of our geocaching trip to Mackay. We are definitely enjoying the country geocaches more than the city ones. So today were doing another rural cache run. On our first approach, we thought that construction works here would hamper our search, but the container was easily located away from the works Coordinate Accuracy: We found this cache near where our GPS said we should be looking. Cache Condition: Good. Regards Ian & Penny (Found and logged using Cachly).
Great part of the world. Great spot to pull up and have a treasure hunt with the kids.
We have been able to explore the area and take in all the sights and sounds of the city. Despite the humidity, the weather has been quite pleasant and we have enjoyed our stay. Here's one to find today.Thank you for placing the cache coral.sea.cat.
After QOGM 2023 in Longreach, TBU went on a round trip via Mount Isa, Burketown, Karumba, Ravenshoe, Atherton Tablelands down to Innisfail to Townsville. Now we are heading towards South back home, still refreshing our memories and collecting smileys. It was a nice variety of hides and we bumped into couple of cachers on the way. Thanks for this cache,Coral.sea.cat
After having spent couple of weeks up North in Queensland, we are now heading back home - but still looking for smileys! We found this cache and signed the log.Tftc
Nearly got blown away on such a windy day, it’s a beautiful spot found on my road trip Rockhampton to cairns tftc
Knew what the cache would likely be so was able to spot it from a distance. Thanks
Out this morning with a plan. Hay Point, Salonica Beach and Louisa Bay. It was hot and humid, Mr D was my driver and sat with the doggies while I did the searching, which is not much fun on your own. The thought of snakes and spiders always in the back of my mind as I enter these beach side areas. However, we did manage 11 out of 16 (yes, I know that is 5 DNFs, but I may go back again sometime.
Well, it is coffee time already, this was a great spot to stop, the little doggies could explore while we had our coffee and cache.
Thanks coral.sea.cat, like your style - so far!

Mackay to Sarina
Having an overnight stay to find some of the caches in the Sarina & Hay Point area.
This was a good way to tour the are and we found a good variety of caches some in places we had not visited before.
Thankyou coral.sea.cat for placing this cache.
After a bit of sight seeing we stopped here to make a find.
Wasn't worried by the red car parked nearby, but as we pulled up, it was noted the they seemed to have the logbook on the bonnet,
"You got the Cache?"
They replied "Yes"
Chatted event - didn't know about it, Mega- never heard about it.
Chatted caching for a bit
Cache returned, we headed off to the next one

Quick easy find. At the car signing the log when 2 cars pull up, "You got the cache" "yep". Love it when you come across fellow cachers
