Logs
Came back for some redemtion.Came here last time and couldnt find it for the life of me. It actually took ten seconds this time
This one was nice and easy, unlike some of the other ones in Port Kembla. There weren't too many hiding spots on the structure in question so just make sure to look methodically and you'll come across it. A tiny cache on a big structure that I wouldn't have actually realised was actually metal. Very quiet area despite being close to the courthouse. TFTC!
Well hello! Hid you a little bit to not be so obvious. Thanks for the hide!
Found with minniek and Team SHI.We joined a group of Canberra Cachers to tackle a whole bunch of caches around the Shellharbour/Port Kembla region over an ACT only long weekend. We signed our group as Team SHI (ShellHarbour Invasion) which consisted of minniek, Kittykatch, Joolay, contesta, ispoeda, Tankengine, dty73 and myself or if most had already found we signed our own names. I have already found most of the caches attempted this weekend, but I did manage a couple which along with the awesome company made it a great weekend's caching. Day 4. My next find of the day. A nice quick find here. Signed the log, replaced the cache as found, then continued on to the next one. Thanks KemblaKrew !!
Day 3: fitzy_1965 and I headed to the Lake Illawarra area to do some caching with friends for the Canberra long weekend. We signed our group as SHI (ShellHarbour Invasion) which consisted of Kittykatch, Joolay, contesta, ispoeda and me or if most had already found we signed our own names.Several more caches done together before we split up to make our own ways home.It was a great few days away and lots of caches found. Thanks to the CO's for placement.
My son found this one! After a sleep study and early morning in Wollongong. Mugglers were staring at us as he was so excited to find it all on his own.
My boyfriend (still a Muggle) found it before I could! We and Samac68 had just been at the Port Kembla Festival. Log was pretty full ( a tiny bit of room) but the log started to rip- its very fragile after lots of handling. Couldnt sign. Very happy to send a photo for proof. Will return to sign when log is replaced. Clever spot for a cache.
Paper log still has a small amount of space despite other logs saying its full . Its very fragile from lots of rolling and unrolling and isnt sign-able so needs replacing.
How the heck did I not see that the last time I was here? Log needs replacing, thanks.
#713. Having a nice day exploring the area. Found this one after a short search. TFTC!
1133 for the tribeOnce upon a time, long long ago I had a shot at taking out the FTF on this cache but I was not able to do so. The CO even kindly checked after I couldn't find it! Anyway that is ancient history now and today I was passing through with 5 min to spare after some laps at the wondrous Port Kembla Pool. Parked closeby and came in and found the little one. The logbook is full but the cache is in excellent condition. Scrawled R & T somewhere on the log and rehid the cache as found. TFTC KemblaKrew!
A quick find after waiting for a muggle parked very close to leave. No room to sign.
Not found. Went over the anchor thoroughly. Even checked a photo from previous find that showed the container so we knew what we were looking for. Also beware very dodgy characters leaving the court. Depending on day and time. Some pretty antisocial behaviour and bad language so maybe not suitable for young kids. Unless you want to show them how not to be.
Apparently i have already found this one had my name in the logbook when I have never found it any way found it on my 8 try today finally
Keeping the streak going, glad to see this one back in play. Lot of names for a fresh/replaced log.
Was able to come back and redeem a previous DNF, it’s so tiny!
P.S Forgot pen so here’s photo for proof.

Quick little find. There were a were spiders webs but I was able to use a stick to move them away
I'm after at least 6 finds today to appease the Calendar Caching Gods, but why stop at 6? Decided to head down to the Illawarra for a day of finds, but unfortunately I racked up a large number of DNFs as well. That certainly wasn't the idea! As a result, it was a much longer day than it should have been.
And I suspect about half of the DNFs I just simply missed.
Ah well, that's caching for you.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
And the DNFs keep on coming. At least I found the ants. So many ants!
Finally gave it up as I was being eaten alive!

Nice big Anchor, nasty little Nano! (Least favourite cache type). OCW Brewmaker. TFTC KemblaKrew
A lot of poking around for a quick find. Only to find the log is full. Signed as BM & EH and squeezed it back. Needs a replacement log urgently. TFTC
Having a good time picking up a few caches in the area while I have so time to kill. Surprisingly this one took me 5 mins to find. Thankfully it was at a time where traffic was light. Nice hide TFTC
Took a little bit to locate but got there in the end! Surrounded by ants so next finder should bring some mortien
Found with MrPython! There was a bunch of Ants sadly so didn't log but had fun looking around it was a tricky one! TFTC!
OCW GGCoconut and HJBanana. On this beautiful spring day, we have decided to journey south and enjoy hunting down some caches in the fresh air and sunshine around Shellharbour. We enjoyed checking out the structures at GZ as we searched. Thankfully GGCoconut located it quite quickly! TFTC!
