6 June 2024 11:03amIn the area for work, I thought I'd have a quick wander to this one. I didn't bother putting my shoes on because it wasn't too far (the numb toes when I got back to the car made me really wish I'd taken the time for shoes).Unfortunately even with a bit of looking around I couldn't find i5.
Found 17-2-24Out on an afternoon of Treasurer Hunting with Geowife Orcas & GeoBuddy SC.Quick Find.TFTC.Cheers Yankees02

Up on the downs with NobbysNuts to attend the GIFF showing at Clifton and after spending the night in Toowoomba we found a few caches before breakfast. This was first on the list and it didn't take long once we shifted to the right tree.TFTC Zlest

We are heading home to Logan Village after a fun time at qogm 23 Longreach. Decided to stay at Toowoomba for a few days geoing.. As we are staying just up the road ,this cache was our first for the day. Found cache broken and on the ground. To keep the cache in the game ,we have replaced it .All new ready to be found.
Found on the ground, someone left the cap off so the paper is all destroyed from the weather. Needs replacing
Unable to find it. We got there too late at night. Will come back sometimes during the day and look again.
Took the KG kids out to do some caching now the 12yo has a caching bag of tricks. Took a while but she deciphered the clues and came up with the goods!
Needs maintenance top does not screw on base log crumpled and getting damp in the rain
It does need maintenance done to it as paper looks wet and stuck inside cache
Found it with all the cousins and family. Fun afternoon and a good opportunity to run off some Easter chocolate energy!
Had a good look around for this one! ?? Looked in the logs for some hints... Wasn’t sure if I had the right tree or not... ?? Hunted every branch, nook and cranny... Just about to walk away and spotted the cache! ?? Can’t believe I didn’t see it sooner. Definitely a sneaky little tricky one! Had to dodge the muggles who live in the house immediately behind, they’d decided this afternoon was a good time for a backyard relaxation session. ??
Great find and flat ring for runs, bikes, roller skates anything rlly, cache paper is a bit wet tho and may need maintenance good find!!! ︎
As the others said, the thread is gone but still a fun find. First hunt with my four year old and he loved it!

I found this cache after a short search and as others have mentioned the lid does not stay on very well anymore.
Thanks for the cache.

Thanks Zlest. A neat micro cache. May need a little maintenance, possibly not water tight.
In Toowoomba to take advantage of the stock take sales in town. Made a few detours around town for these caches.
Lovely park. Pick a Paperbark tree! CITO gave me 30c today. Thanks Zlest

Headed out today to acquire the end of year souvenir only to now just discover there’s been a full week to get it rather then just the usual December 31…had I logged my finds from three days ago I would have know that . Oh well, souvenir is well & truly in the bag.
As others have mentioned the thread on the container is not great which meant the lid kept popping off. Got it to stay eventually. TFTC Zlest

Day 1 of my outback travels and the start of my Queensland Outback Geocaching Muster trip for 2022. While I had a few hours to kill and wait around before I had to pick up Triple Turmoil, I headed off to Mt. Peel and around Toowoomba for some easy cache pick ups and a few DNF’s I had previously. It was nice to be out and caching around this town again. The plan was to leave this afternoon and drive a little further, to stay at Miles for the night for readiness for a bigger day tomorrow. This was all in readiness for our continuation from last year’s event and a very successful team collaboration with Willis007 and Jacs Team.
So I started with a couple of easy caches in town and then went for a walk around Mt. Peel (grabbed the new challenge cache, a trad and the whereigo). I then headed into town to spend some time looking for a Library cache that was the bugbear of my last trip, (got it this time). I then continued for a few more great caches around town. Thank you for the caches and the entertainment around here, sorry for the generic log but I got around 30 caches here. I signed the logs on all and replaced all caches as found, thank you.
