Today we headed out for our last day on the Tasman Peninsula and had a few caches to attempt to clear up before we leave. We drove Beryl the Moho to Eaglehawk Neck and then headed out in the Jimny to try and get as many as we could. Some of the puzzles were too hard for my wee brain but other than a dnf at the dog multi we had much success. We have been super impressed with the caches on the peninsula they have really made us think outside the box. Our thanks to all the CO for placing and maintaining caches for us to find, much appreciated .Lovely another puzzle that even I can solve. Cache found in the first place I looked, love it when that happens! TFTC

It's been a hot minute since we did a geohunt, so today we've decided to tackle a few caches down eaglehawk neck way and make the most of the rare sunshine. This was our first stop and a quick find!Lovely quiet little spot

TFTC - nice puzzle, it made me smile!
I'm hereabouts having a few nights break down the peninsula with Mrs EPs.
We've had a great day, and just wanted to grab one cache for today, so I popped out to here and made a quick find, in the 2nd place I looked - obviously walked the wrong way around!

Thanks tassietan, for this caching experience.
Cheers, EPs.

@1550hrs

But hold on, there's a postscript - I got back to our accommodation and couldn't find my glasses. I remembered putting them down when I retrieved the cache - mustn't have picked them back up; D'oh!
So I quickly drove back, but they weren't there; which really surprised me. Was just about to leave, dejected, but decided to check the logbook, and sure enough, there was another finder after me. Must have only been 15 or so minutes apart.
I decided to message them and just as I sent it, I got a message from them - yay!
Glad they found my glasses and looked after them, so we organised for me to collect them once back in Hobart.
Thanks Earthbound Chief.

A quick find by the Chief in the late afternoon sun shone on the hill across the way.

We tried our usual routines to solve this puzzle and, after a short time, we had the coordinates. Today we went to look for this cache. Accurate coordinates led to a quick find of a well hidden cache. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks tassietan for a good puzzle and for the cache.

One of twenty-two caches found today with Zozetta in the Eaglehawk Neck area. We began the day with a find just outside of Murdunna, then continued down to Pirates Bay, Eaglehawk Neck, Doo Town and the Tasman Arch and Blowhole. We also found two more caches at Boomer Bay on the way home. An excellent day out with many high quality caches found. In total we had twenty-two finds and two DNFs.

I solved this puzzle quite a few months ago: last May I think. A fairly straightforward puzzle, but we hadn’t been able to get to the final until today. We began searching in the wrong place, but quickly realised that the cache couldn’t be there. We found a likely place nearby but the cache wasn’t there. Zozetta went to search another object further away and I went to follow when I spotted something suspicious which turned to be the cache. Nice to turn this into a smiley at last.

Thanks for the puzzle and cache tassietan!

We woke up early and it was a nice day in Hobart so we decided to head towards Port Arthur in hope of doing a couple of walks but it started drizzling so we put the walks on hold. However we had a few other caches on our list and this was one of them!

Had solved when it first came out and today was the day to find. So nice to have a find that was quick.

I had solved this puzzle some time ago and was keeping the find for a rainy day. Although it isn't raining today, I am running out of time for Signal points, so decided to add to my smiley collection when out and about on a maintenance run today.
An excellent puzzle, and a great spot for a cache . The cache itself is one of tassietan's lovely creations.
Thanks tassietan, deserves a favourite.

We had a great day today being out for 10 hours caching cleaning up the Peninsula, to be fair I think we have a couple more to pull in but you cant fit everything into one trip now can you, will just have to come back another time. Last cache of the day so after we found this in the fading light we had a cuppa coffee and a Penguin biscuit before we drove home, thanks for the hard work,

This week it was just myself and the goose heading out to find some caches down the Tasman Peninsula, some that had come out since we were down that way last and some that had been on the wish list for many years if not decades, the weather was just about perfect and we even made it back home before dinner in our respective homes. After getting fuel I picked goose up at 8:26 and I dropped him off almost 10 hours later, a good day out caching in my book.

Thanks for the cache.

I've never been along this road, never had a reason too, so this was new territory for me....in the fading light. Accurate coordinated led us straight to the cache and we made a quick find for which we were thankful. We had a cuppa and a Penguin biscuit before the trek home in the dark.
A great day out with SSR and a dozen finds. Looking forward to a hot shower followed by a nice red wine
Thanks tassietan

We decided to head down to Safety Cove to locate a few new caches that have appeared in the area since we were last there and this was one we found just on dark as we headed home. Another well constructed cache. Nice to tick off another solved puzzle. TFTC

Ended up driving close by to this one and after finding the cache managed to spot a shark (Baby) in the water. It swum right up to the rock I was standing on and cruised around for 10 minutes or so

With a bit of a build-up of caches since i was down here last, It was high time to come grab them.
This one was 1st cab off the rank.
Initially, i was overthinking this puzzle as i often do [B)] ha ha Big Grin but once that was corrected i had the green light on the checker [^] Sweet As!

Today, Tuesday the 12th of April 2022, i drove to the final and made the quick find in a lovely area with a nice view.
Nice cache container, another quality make Cool in a nice hiding spot.

SL at 10:28. The cache and contents are in A1 condition. Returned as found.

Thanks for the cache tassietan.
With one of the GeoGSP's off in 'doggy daycare' for the day (respite from his younger sister), I decided a day on 'the peninsula' would be a nice way to spend the day with the younger of the GeoGSP's.
After coffee in Sorell, this was our first port of call.
It was picture perfect at GZ, and I was able to make the find after a short search. Another tidy cache container.

Hi tassietan. thanks for the puzzle, I was lucky enough to solve this puzzle shortly after it was published but Old Saint had beaten me to the FTF. So today on a maintenance run down to Roaring Beach I popped in here to find another creative cache container and thankfully an easy hide. Will enjoy the rest of the series love these old jetties. Thanks for all your hides.
