Worked out the code although didnt really need to,the ship is a little weathered.Grabbed the TB will log it when I get home .TFTC
Day 6 of my slow road trip home to Gosford from the Gold Coast. After staying in Tamworth last night, I'm heading to Nundle this morning as it's a town I've never been to. From there, I'm not sure where I'll head yet.A straightforward find here. Nicely done Whitey ... it brought a smile to my face.
Reperio 07:45Day 4 of our tour of Tamworth/Armidale caching trip, and today, Master Vitruvius and I were able to focus on more of the cache closer to the Tamworth area. This was the first cache of the day, and what a beauty to start with. Another great letterbox cache. Heading south, there are a few letterbox caches to be found. A quick find was made here and my name added to the log. I left a TB to continue on its journey. With everything returned as found, I continued on my way. TFTC
Came along here with ilook4geo and opened the cache easily. It is fun to find a constructed cache. All is good here and log was signed. Thanks for the cache go to Whitey Wiskas.
Found some letterboxes and a few others for the day with goingplaces2. Log signed and all was replaced as found. TFTC. FP.
I have 3 questions . Were there any German Shepherds on the Ark?Only 2 rabbits went on board. How many came off? Some movies were magnificent. TFTC Whitey Wiskas
On a cache run in Tamworth picking up a few solved puzzles as well as some stray caches as we pass along the way. Nice quick find at GZ. With the cache in hand, we signed the log then replaced everything as found. Thanks for the cache Whitey Wiskas - have another FP.The following TBs came through for the mileage: Bob geoMinion, Dave geoMinion, Evil geoMinion, Jerry geoMinion, Larry geoMinion, Mary Hyde's Treasure, Stuart geoMinion, teamMerlin's 7 Deadly Ducks Tag (Lust), Vanlith The Youngling, Hidden Creatures Geocoin TB, teamMerlin's Football, Tribute - Snickers, Lasse Lssig, Monkey See, Monkey Do, 030 TB - Geo#ju, Tobis Nikolo, Chase is on the case, Berlin - Cacherhauptstadt Geocoin
Very cool cache. Letterbox hybrids are my favourite caches and this lived up to my expectations. Tftc. Favourite point from us.
Whitey Wiskas I found your cache Karoona on 21/10/2023, 3:30 pm. This is my find 6165 and find # 33 today. A quick and easy drive by. Very well done. Have a favourite point from me. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
I found this cache as I headed home to Adelaide after the QOGM events around Longreach. The plan was to be away for about a month. I travelled up to Longreach via Broken Hill, Cunnamulla, Charleville and Barcaldine, camping and finding caches of interest along the way. I am heading back home via Brisbane and the NSW coast to Sydney, then across to Adelaide. However my plans are pretty loose and subject to change, often on a whim! The weather so far has been good, albeit a little warm at times. I am hoping it stays good for the rest of the trip.I have had to be quite selective with the caches I have found as there are so many that I am passing. As a result I have mostly targeted non-traditional cache types, although I have also grabbed a few Trads opportunistically here and there. These Letterbox Hybrid caches looked interesting so I thought Id take the time to check as many of them out as I could in the time available. I was surprised by the creative letterboxes and the work that has gone into them. Thanks Whitey Wiskas for the cache, which has contributed to an interesting and enjoyable trip. And a favourite point from me for the effort that has gone into the cache.

That. Was. Awesome. Love the hide, love the way to get the code. Favourite worthy for sure and definitely worth the stop as we were heading back into town after a brilliant day at Nundle.
Another great letterbox cache, really loving the creativity in this region. Shame we didn't get time to complete more of the letterbox caches.
This one was easily spotted on approach, and appreciated, love the themes.
Thanks for the hide Whitey Wiskas.

Completed the other leg of my morning walk from our nearby campsite. Beautiful altar morning for a walk although the traffic was quite noisy along the road. Love the cache hide. Cache guardians weren't too keen on this job. . Tftc
The ants are a problem. I have put some ant poison and some more mothballs in it
Having arrived in Tamworth last night to visit with family, Blkthunder and I have a day in Tamworth and Walcha to cache and sightsee before returning to Brisbane tomorrow… there may have been more caching than sightseeing…
We’ve made a detour on the way back to our accommodation… this stretch of road helps with my 360 from home map… I both love and loathe Project-GC…
So the ants are back… I think the moth balls may have either angered them or given them super strength… BlkThunder took much amusement in my antics from the comfort of LeDeVine… There was some dancing, some swearing and a lot of hand flicking…

Unfortunately the ant problem remains - sprayed Bushman on outside to access lock but inside was even worse. They certainly love your wooden handy work Whitey Wiskas!
Repaired the break. Put some insect repellent in it to help with the ant problem.
This one needs some extra care, ants have invaded and it is impossible to access cache after unlocking
We never get 4 letterbox caches in a row so this is a real treat! The kids are loving it. TNLN TFTC
Thanks for this one hopefully we will never need to use a ark. All good with this unique cache
We were on our way to the Ark when I had a sneaking feeling we might need a code. Luckily it was a simple one. I guess Noah didn't want to go to all the trouble of making an Ark and then forget the code when it was time to get the animals in. Even though the lock was a little rusty it snapped open with ease.
A wonderful addition to this excellent series. TFTC Whitey. A few ants taking up residence.. it appears they haven't taken notice of the 'two only' rule...

Excellent cache - a nice surprise and not too taxing for a tired brain. Found with David343 TFTC
I was keen to see this latest creation so we scooted down the Nundle Road. My muggle sister was impressed with the design and took a pic for a geo-friend in Sydney. I figured out the code and unlocked the prize

It’s always a bit weird when you pull up in someone’s driveway, but also a bit disappointing when they don’t invite you in for tea and crumpets.
Now that I think about it, what the hell is a crumpet, and should I wish it upon my worst enemy? Can I still go into Woolies and order a six pack of crumpets and would the teenage staff even know what I’m asking for? It took me seven hours of driving to Tamworth to realise I don’t know what a crumpet is, but now I really want what he, she or it is. tftc

After getting rained out of most the caches we had planned for this mornings trip home, we decided to head out and get the 4 letterboxes around this area. Cool container!

On our way home from Walcha today, it was raining most of the day, so we didn't stop much, just to grab letterboxes and some GA caches mainly.
Another familiar boat, good to see maintenance ongoing..... the rock under it could just about be an EarthCache in its own right.... TFTC!

We have coomenced our journey towards Townsville Mega Event.
Our lunch break was at Walcha where we also found a new cache recently hidden there.
We then spent 2 nights at Uralla staying at a geocaching friends farm. A lot of new caches placed here.
Urall to Tamworth we stopped to find a few caches along the road.
Finally today we have made an overnight stop at the new CMCA camp at Gunnedah.
We discovered some new locations & found a variety of good caches.
Another impressive cache container from Whitey Wiskas, we have enjoyed the variety of boats that have been made.
Thankyou Whitey Wiskas for placing this cache.

Travelling to Tamworth from Coffs Harbour and imagine my surprise when I found no signatures on this log. Woo hoo.
Did there used to be a letterbox cache here before, because I feel like I’ve been here before?
