Up in Whangarei for a few days and today we picked up a lot of caches through walking around the river walkways and up Parihaki summit. This was found on an alternative route down to collect a few more caches! More horse here which I didnt enjoy TFTC
Found with Dali87 within our famous trip around New Zealand. Thanks for nice cache ....................................................................... TB Koumesovo geopivo DDEV7M
New log looks good. Threw in some foreign coins for any caching collectors out there. TFTC
Staying overnight at an Airbnb not very far away I took a wander up the road to capture a few caches before dinner.I seem to be playing a game of 'walk up the road' leap-frog with a muggle, but after stopping a wee while to 'admire' a 'view' I aimed for my target and was pleased to spot the cache staring right back at me.Now that doesn't often happenThanks again 0B80B8#4737PS. Log is soaked and could use a replacement
Found as we walked further towards the top - the clue definitely helped as we were looking in the wrong place to begin with. TFTC
A quick easy find once at GZ. Just be careful of all the prickly plants nearby. Collected the bug located inside. TFTC.
Our first geocaching adventure with our wee man in a backpack (10months) and our 4 year old and all the family present. We parked at the top headed down the Ross track down to the mine then up into Mackesy bush. Ohhhhh so many stairs, especially that track up to mackesy. But 4 year old managed all the walking so we are proud of her. Only 1 DNF today but it's a night cache so not going to log as DNF, and we managed to find one we have DNF twice yay..... thanks for all the hides. Divided up tracks to gain more finds and sent raptor to car. Raptors 5th find
A quick visit up to the top of Parihaka this morning before heading back home to Auckland. We stopped for a few trads on our way back down. No parking on this side, but one of us stayed in the car in case other traffic came along (none did) and the other made a reasonably quick find. TFTC
Chugging my way up the road now. I spotted a gap in the tree's, an appropriate distance from the 'snake', and although it didn't exactly lead me to the cache, I did spot it once I'd turned around. But then took a moment or two to re-spot it from a different angle.
Thanks for putting this here

A nice big bison to place a TB. I just loved the black corrugated snake, such imagination.
Enjoying the walk up the hill to collect this cache. Soon located once we entered the bush and looked back. TFTC
Parked up across the road for this one. Road was quite quiet today. Made a quick find. Signed and replaced. Off to the next one. TFTC
1754. 3:24 pm. It would have been a quicker find if I had read the title. TFT(headshake inducing)C.

Nette and I were in Whangarei for the weekend so we’re pleasantly surprised to get 2tf on the new caches up this road. We parked across the road and made a quick find. I’ve not noticed black manuka before so thanks for educating me.
Well I was already planning an ftf mission this morning to get yesterdays two hides. More excitement this morning when two more appeared. I'd geared my son to come with me. Then I'd drop him at school (hopefully on time) and head to work, again, hopefully on time.
We left home at 7am and as expected had a free run with the traffic at this hour. We drove up the mountain with the GPS on looking for parking spots. We carried on down and found a good park not too far from gz. Again lots of trees to search but it didn't take us too long as I guessed it was the same type of hide as the last. My second {FTF} at 7.29am. Pleased to see the blank log for my 199th first to find (I think). Another 100 to get my badge.
Thanks for this mornings fun
