Our family's first geocache! Was a great experience! Thank you. However, I suspect that the cache may need a little maintenance involving some glue. Cheers
I am on a very enjoyable holiday up in Townsville visiting the area and catching up with family. Tagged along with alphag_25 on some geocache adventures and have been able to complete many new geocaches. Lots of new places are being explored and heaps of amazing artwork. It certainly is a lot hotter in Townsville than Mackay! The Tanks Adlab series, Wherigos and other Adlabs are on our list to complete on our journey up here and also hope to pick up some of the remaining river caches that we could not find last time. We managed to go out in the boat with a sighting of one crocodile! Boat desperately needs a clean when alphag_25 and I get home! Thanks Townsville for our time spent here and the puzzle creators their intersting and challenging puzzles.
Another day in Townsville and managing to get some caches in too. After a bit of Tide planning and research made the way to the boat ramp with GEOPUNT. Visited the ramp a few days ago and assessed the access and the tidal access. Unless noted Found the cache in good condition. There are a lot more boats here and lots of other boats out on the water today as was yesterday with all the trailers in the car park when I scoped my attack. Hoping for no Crocs but refer to my other logs when I did see one in the Upper Ross River. Enjoying a caching holiday in Townsville with mackay_geocaching. Thanks to the COs for the puzzles that they have created and brain strain to solve them. Puzzles mostly been solved prior to this visit with alphag_25 and mackay_geocaching team effort. Brought the GEOPUNT up this time to tackle more of the T5 caches and Challenges on the water. Also prepared for the task with the Segway Scooter and Paddleboard. Merry Christmas and Happy Caching from Mackay.*Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*
Sure is a beautiful spot! Still sad seeing the lower banks washed away from the flooding. Tftc

Happy New Year. A slow start to our last day in Townsville after celebrations last night. Having spent some quality time visiting my mother in law at her aged care this afternoon, I grabbed this quick cache to maintain my mini holiday streak of finds.
Everything was in good order here. The car was used as a shield to protect our activities from the muggle eyes relaxing on the veranda with a beer just over yonder.
many thanks Byrnesy QLD

Day 18 of a 3 week holiday driving from Canberra to Townsville and back to attend the Mega. Today was my final day in Townsville before heading home via Brisbane to tick off a few more counties. I spent a couple of hours topping up my TSV find numbers to just over 400 before leaving. Cache soon found. TFTC.

TFTC Byrnesy_QLD Happy to find a GC for my daily. SL TNLN RAF
Sat down, admired GZ & the old boat ramp & the Ross River Mt Stuart views, until I was eaten alive… still itchy as I write this log.

Found on 12/4/22. I managed to look over it and when I went to look somewhere else miss 9 called out that she found it. Thank you
Up in the Ville selling sizzling snags for the mega, visited a fellow cachet and then popped down the river to grab this cache.
Pretty interesting that there was a boat ramp here and never new. Beware though, heavily guarded by tiny biting muggles.

When this was released at 11:57pm I thought I would have a chance of the FTF the following morning, but without a teleport machine I was no chance of beating Diver.
Today after an early finish I was able to make an instant find.
Thanks Byrnesy_QLD for creating and placing this for us to enjoy. Welcome to the other side of the game. Nice spot.

Wow, I figured the streak would be gone but there it is still alive. Thanks for this super late cache and [FTF] Nice spot indeed with a good view over the river and the mountain. Good choice, have a favourite point!
