After dropping my son at Paintball nearby I headed here for a wander through the bushland. Great place for a walk, only saw one other person while here. All hides found pretty quickly. TFTC
I saw that there was a nice day in between the showery ones so decided to have a go at these. Apologies for the generic log. All caches found in great condition unless otherwise stated. Thank you for the work that went into placing these. TFTC
SOMIOY is in great shape. Spot and Patch separated on the way to this baby; Spot doing the TO while Patch made the claim. This one nicely rounds off the middle of our Fourth Thousand. Five Hundred to go to reach the magic 4k
The geocaching plan for Taurus Six and I today was to head up to Metro to undertake a good walk while collecting a series of geocaches . We chose a cluster of caches that we were going to focus on in the Wellard area . As has become our tradition as we headed up the highway we stopped at the Crooked Carrot for a lovely brunch before continuing our journey . Once nearing our destination which was the Kwinana Loop Trail Banksia Woodland we were not seeing an obvious entrance so in the end we parked up and climbed the fence , once we did this we quickly spotted an entrance .We really enjoyed the walk , the bush was quite dry but beautiful nonetheless and there were several banksias just coming into flower . We were blessed with the amount of bird life around us and the odd lizard or too . We were very glad that it was lizards and not snakes that were around. We appreciate the two different geocachers who had placed these caches giving us a great excuse to visit this area. The caches were a really good variety of types and difficulties which addd to the adventure . All in all we collected 22 traditional caches in this area and only one dnf. We then collected one puzzle cache and one element of an Adventure Lab in the Mandurah area on the way back to Bunbury . Thanks for hiding and maintaining these caches We will give this one a favourite for all the ones that we have collected of yours today OOH YEH , we have really enjoyed this walk.
Another quick find here and this will be my last find in Aus for some time. Thanks for the hide OOH YEH. SL.
For the first time in quite a while I found the time to go caching for an afternoon. Decided to clear some caches that have been around for a while in the Wellard area.

Out for a spot of night caching with Leega on this beautiful night. We stopped to grab this one and it was a nice quick find. We added our names to your log and returned your cache back to its place of hiding. TFTC OOH YEH.
Making our way in the dark on a lovely night for a few caches. A quick find here. TYFTC.
Achilles, Briseis and baby Pyrrhus were out to make the most of (what they thought would be) good weather, but was a little hotter than expected. A quick loop of the jungle was an eventful one nonetheless, as Achilles was attacked by a massive minion of Arachne. Pyrrhus, as usual slept through the whole adventure carried by his mother.
One more in this series of treasure before our heroes turned back to their ship, as baby Pyrrhus was getting hot and sweaty.

*F2F* Yay! Happened to be out and about when this one showed up, jumped in the car and, because I always do things the hard way, took the wrong path and had to do some bush bashing! Watching out for nope ropes, I walked into a full spider web with a huge resident. Thank goodness my husband taught me about sheoaks. Cache quickly spotted, log signed and all returned as found TFTC
