The cache is in two pieces, but the log is good. There will be some nice apples here later. TFTC Sui_001.
Reperio 11:32Day 4 of our trip to Wagga Wagga, and Master Vitruvius and I headed out early this morning to round up a few more caches before heading for home. Our goal for the morning was to find the caches around Albert Lake, but not before going for a bush stroll for a couple. By mid morning we were headed for home stopping by and picking up a few along the way. I missed getting to Jugiong last caching trip, so we visited the series along the old road. Perfect day to be out and about.Gratias Sui_001As a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV
A beautiful sunny Spring day out-and-about picking up a string of caches all while targeting rope climbing caches. TFTC Sui_001!
A great day out to the north of CBR targeting some interesting caches. This was one of them. Thanks, Sui_001!
Out for a day of caching near and around Bookham. The hand has lost its fingers. TFTC
Cache # 11362 on 28 Jul 2024Out to Bookham on a very cold and windy morning with Aquilus1 and TikvaNZ to collect some caches that none of us had found (mostly). Decided to grab the ones along Bodkins Road, except for the first one which we will have to come back for with reinforcements. All the rest were pretty easy finds with a mix of containers and terrains. We tried to minimise our time outside the car, it was bitter outside! And of course it was still and blue skies in the bra! Will have to come back to get some more numbers another day! Quick find unless otherwise stated! Thank you Sui_001 for the cache and the fun!
#22463 @1035Out caching with Aquilus1 and AngelG on a bitterly cold morning. Cache quickly found. TFTC.
Suscoe headed out today to find some caches between Yass and Albury. It was a delightful day with lots of sunshine and a mild breeze. We saw lots of sheep and cows along with beautiful hills and lots of trucks heading bothways along the highway.Lots of interesting caches were found along the way. Thanks to Sui_001 for this hide.We were surprised and saddened by the rubbish and fencing wire just dumped along this road.
Geobash Easter Mega - Day #6 (Tuesday 2/4)For the last day of my trip, I decided on having a lazy start. Once I did get started, I packed up my stuff and left the motel room. I then headed over to the National Museum of Australia so I could see the Ancient Egypt exhibit. It was great and I learnt lots. While I was there, I also found a couple of ALs and a multi-cache. After having a delicious burger for lunch, I headed off to a solved mystery cache before starting my journey home. Along the way, I drove along two quite back roads to find the caches along them. Then I headed home. TB visit. If the cache wasnt signed as JohnoMawbs, it was signed as JM or as the tour group name. A big thanks to the CO for adding this cache to game for the Geocaching community to enjoy. TFTEs & TFTCs Continuing along the journey home and this cache was along the way. This was another quick find and my last find of the weekend. It has been a very enjoyable time at the Geobash Mega. TFTC
Oh no... someone shook this one a little too firmly and it is broken. The log and plastic bag were a soggy mess. We have placed some more paper and a new plastic bag in the container. *The generic bit*On our way to the GeoBash Mega in Canberra. We started geocaching just before the Easter Mega event in Rutherglen last year and will celebrate our 1000th find at this Mega. Thanks to the organisers, sponsors, volunteers and all the COs who make these events a great success.
I found the container at Ground Zero, but there was no log inside. Plenty of apples in the tree. And the remnants of a animal carcass as well. Thanks for the interesting cash locations.
TFTC Sui_001 your cache lend a hand - the hitchhiker that we found today. We are slowly making our way to the Canberra Geobash. We arrived in Jugiong mid-morning with the intention of only caching as far as Bookham. As it turned out we ended upon chasing caches to Bowning. No point in sitting around the Motorhome when there are plenty of caches to be found. An afternoon of frogs, turtles, snakes and a hand series up the old Hume highway. 42 finds for the day.Find Count: 19176
Found after expanding out cache found broken in half piece with lig on the ground, grabbed a few nice looking apples for the trip
Coords are slightly off and container is in 2 pieces but another successful fine for my leap day
Day out in Yass and surrounds. Cloudy and cool afternoon. Able to come away with 35 finds around the area today. Signed and replaced. Tftc.
Looking in the wrong spot but once we widened our search quickly found.Off in another adventure with Kittykatch. Day 1 Thanks for getting me out and about Sui_001
Beechworth Road Trip !I joined up with Joolay for a Xmas road trip to the Beechworth area. Found about 10m east of my gz. Hamd is s bit broken but log book is ok. Thanks for the hide Sui_001
Was travelling from Vic to Qld and decided to break the drive and do a few random caches and this was one of them, thanks for the smilie
I doubt this hitchhiker will be getting many rides with their broken hand, it needs some drastic surgery, thanks.
I am heading to Cape York in a month - I am flying up but a friend from Canberra is driving to Cairns and I am meeting him there got the last haul. He has offered to take some gear up, so after driving to Yass last night and collecting quite a few caches I headed to Canberra this morning to drop it off. Plenty of time for caches on the way and a nice little run down the old highway on the way home. This would have been easy a month or so ago when all the leaves hadnt grown. Container unfortunately is Broken but log all good here.TFTC Sui_001
Took the hint from Harrowang and widened our search, before finding it, my last in this series, for icybeetas and I on our way home from QOGM in Longreach, one day I hope to return with a very tall ladder or tree monkey to do the last of these.
It was great to get off the highway to make the find of this series. An enjoyable driving and caching experience. Thank you for placing and maintaining this cache for our challenge and enjoyment. This cache was broken into two pieces but the log was still dry.
We had to widen our search to locate this one and unfortunately that hitchhiking thumb has been damaged by the windy weather. The log is intact and able to be signed though, which we did at 3.15pm #10,228 TFTC Sui_001
On the way to Jugiong for lunch, took the old highway for the opportunity to clear up a few remaining caches in this series.
All attempted were found, some after a bit of a hunt, and generally in good condition. Thanks for placing and maintaining this series Sui_001.

We are heading up the coast to avoid the coldest of the winter weather here in Victoria.
After doing the nearby climb, we were happy to settle for this easy terrain. The bonus was picking a bag of apples to stew up.
Thanks Sui for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

I decided to collect a few caches on the way to Wollongong today. I looked at this series and despite having the ladder in the boot, I thought I had better not collect any high ones today while on my own. Sorry for the generic log on some of these finds.

We formulated a plan month ago to meet up with alansee, mclookers, maccamob micaparamedi, moonb1, muzza and pprass to try our luck at some challenges and also any other series around.Well this was a very interesting series, most were easy to spot but that’s where it ended. We thought we had the tools required but if it were not for the kind CO lending a hand there would be no where near as many smilies on the map.
We were all quite impressed with the effort that has gone into the containers and hides on this series and are leaving a favourite point to reflect the fact.
Our thanks once more Sui_001 for all the effort you put into these hides and containers.
To save room in the log books we signed as Vic1

We were barking up the wrong tree for a while, then decided to widen our search. We got a quick refresher on hitchhiking before heading off to the next one. FP awarded. TFTC!
We decided to grab a couple of caches before the close of 2022. We aimed to find most of the caches on the Benangaroo road and then made our way to the Endangered Species Power Trail. We did a bit of planning beforehand as we have two young ones in the car and therefore time is somewhat limited before they start complaining. We were also aiming to reach 365 caches for the year and we managed to reach our goal. We found most of the caches on our list and enjoyed the mostly quiet road. Thanks to all who created these caches for us to find!

Albury to Jugiong, have camped at the sports grounds
After setting up took a run down the side track next to the highway, there was such a variety of cache containers found , some very impressive handy work using the plastic printer. Also various DT ratings.
Some of the higher ones we knew our ladder we not reach so we continued on.
Some took longer to find than expected but we are happy with what we did find.
Thanks for placing your cache.

Spending a few days on the road with Wilbert as we travel to and from the Whittlesea Mega event.
Having a great time finding an array of different types and D/T rated caches.
Thanks to all the CO’s for hiding your particular cache.
Day 4 and it’s home time, but not before we make a few stops along the highway.
My apologies for the boiler style log.

On our way home from the Whittlesea Mega, we detoured to grab a few trads and letterboxes along this section of the old hwy. Gotta hand it to you, I'd give my right hand to find this one. TFTC
While heading south with ilook4geo we decided to take a detour off the highway and have some fun finding the caches along this stretch of road. Some we left for another time and some of the logs are saturated, so they could not be signed. The rest were OK. Thanks go to Sui_001 for placing this cache.
Picked out the easier ones along this old road to collect with goingplaces2. It was a good run and we have some left for a future visit. TFTC.
Just out for a Drive in town to catch up on my caching after the crazy weather, so this was on my list to cache, found and placed back where it belong TFTC Sui_001
Off for a couple of days caching with BettyBoo3747 and the geo-doggies.
Out through Gundagai and onto Jugiong.
A lovely sunny day today but we could see where there had been heaps of rain in the area.
This meant that a lot of the caches were full of water and could do with some TLC.
He would have to be very good to pickup a ride on this road! It was very quiet today.
Thanks, Robmc.

#19577. Robmc and I decided to have a couple of days away and we decided the Jugiong area might be the place to go. Unfortunately with so much rain in the area recently it meant that both the land and nearly all of the caches were wet and in need of maintenance checkups.
Finished with the Challenge caches for today and now making our way back to Jugiong. The 3D containers although pretty amazing, unfortunately have still suffered from water damage along with the normal types of containers.
These containers have certainly lasted well over the years - just a pity they aren't waterproof.
Thanks Sui_001

In the area, and made some time to grab a few caches.
Most caches found in good condition. Signed and replaced.
A favourite point added, for the container. Well done.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Sui_001, for us and others to find.

At last there was a partial change in the weather today. Still very cold, but no rain and the wind has dropped off so we took the opportunity to do a loop from Harden down through Bookham and Jugiong and do some caching.
There were a variety of hides and differing terrains, some easy and some beyond our TOTTs capabilities. At least one we had to walk away from because it was too wet and cold for wading.
A nice lunch at Jugiong rounded out a well spent day.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Sui_001.

After having a walk and coffee with my Walking Group, I pondered on how to spend the rest of this beautiful sunny day. I love driving in the country so decided that was the way to go. I knew geofriends had recently found caches around Jugiong so I researched that area. Even though we often travel that way it is usually with the van in tow which understandably discourages Pa from caching along the way. Why not I thought? So after loading up Monty, my GPSr, I headed off.
Yes I can see the general area and luckily there was a geotrail that took me even closer to GZ. How do big fellas like the CO manage to get into some of the places they obviously must. Or do they have robots to place the caches? Anyway, the fruit is still not ripe but it did remind me that I had some scrummy fruit in my car which I proceeded to eat. TFTC Sui_001 SL

**Today:**
I sussed out this road on the way back from Wagga with Sui_001 recently, as he was driving down the highway I discovered it on the map and we were very excited as we drove down it. This is the sort of road that geocachers dream of! Mostly abandoned and only very few properties along it's entire length! We made our way slowly down, pointing out potential spots and having a moment!
I was so excited that when these got published I decided I had to come and do them straight away! So back up to Yass once more, this time fitzy_1965 & minniek were also here (for the 2nd day in a row for them!), as we also placed a couple more with the CO along the way. They were kind enough to join me in finding these ones as well, despite only finding them the day before! Thanks guys!

A very cool set of apple trees here! Not quite ripe enough to try, maybe soon though!
Started searching at the wrong tree but luckily Fitzy had found it yesterday so pointed me in the right direction.
My phone read: **S34 48.595 E148 27.951**
That was just a quick reading so take it with a grain of salt, if you need it.
Thanks Sui! Tough reach into the bush but another awesome themed hide

Fitzy_1965 and I decided to head off on a day’s caching with albida33 and, for some part, Sui_001.
We were picked up at Yass and then headed out to the furthest cache from home with our sights set on Jugiong. Then headed home via the old Hume and a slight detour to the newer caches above Yass.
It was a great day of fun and sunshine with some highlights being the 3D creations we found and a fun attempt to place a cache with Sui_001. Interesting to see how he worked.
All caches were found quickly and easily unless otherwise mentioned. Signed as MK, F65 & A33 or variations thereof.

As Sui has been busy putting out new caches south of Yass, I joined MinnieK and Fitzy_1965 on a mission to visit as many old and new caches south of Yass as we could. I targeted a few caches I missed on previous trips before joining up with the others and going to Jugiong. then came the series of amazingly 3D printed caches along the old Hume highway in the company of the owner. Always lots of fun. After a difficult attempted cache placement we continued on with more Darkside Dan caches around Bowning and west of Yass.
Thanks for the cache Sui_001

26,963. Found with minniek and albida33 during a Sunday caching run out to Jugiong and north of Bowning.
With a lot of new caches being published out this way, a plan was hatched for the three of us to try to clean out the area - and we made a valiant attempt ! We dropped our car and met up with albida at a familiar location, then hit the road down to Jugiong. After finishing in Jugiong it was then on to these neat 3D Printed caches along the old highway along with the CO. Found after we search both objects. It would be great to be here when the apples are ripe ! Signed the log (either full names or as F65 MK A33), replaced the cache as found, then headed off to the next one.
Thanks Sui_001 !! Fav Point for the fun and the container !
