Heading out for a Sunday drive. Just picking up a cache or two on my way past. TFTC
It's our second trip to Marlborough in a couple of weeks but this time we found most of what was available. We decided on a round trip this time and arrived at our first cache via SH63 rather than SH6.A quick find here then on our way again.Thank you PaoloB72.
Our last venture over the hill proved not much of a success as we underestimated the amount of caches on offer and didn't even clear half of what was on offer. With a good weather forecast today a plan was made and we decided to approach through the Wairau Valley and pick up some stragglers on the way. With 36 caches bagged including two adventure labs we're happy with our achievements having left only some because we run out of time. This find proves we haven't ventured this far up the Valley for a long time.Fixed it today with a quick find.Thank you PaoloB72
Knocking off the caches quite quickly now. All are easy finds and all in good condition. Parked up very near cache and was a quick retrieval, log signed and replaced as found. tftc#9769
Driving today from Blenheim to Nelson we took a loop via highway 1 to 63 and number 6, a nice tour through the country and so many caches. We stopped here and there with our muggle friends who were patient and just enjoyed our smiles when we found a cacheLike this one Tftc
Note 24 Jan 2024, This was the first song that the Foo Fighters played at their Christchurch concert tonight. Legends.

RG72 and I were heading to Brightwater and we decided to go the Tophouse route. It’s a little longer, but better scenery and takes the same time due to the 100km/h stretches.
We stopped off for a couple of caches that I have driven past many a time previously, and this was the first.
No problems with finding this one. I had never bothered to find the halfway point before but good to know where it is. TFTC PaoloB.

Heading to Blenheim for a Bridge weekend. Taking the scenic route to pick up all the new caches along the Wairau Valley.
Poor parking heading east bound and then as I was about to cross back to the car, a Ute decided to pass a van between me and where I parked. Whoosh.

Looking forward to doing this one. I made a tribute cache for Taylor in Christchurch. On Hawkins Rd of course!
We had been in the North Island for a couple of weeks finishing the PWGT tour and finding a few other caches that help us to fulfill a few challenges we are working on.
We were in Wellington when there was a flurry of new caches in the top of the south. We felt sure they would all be found before we got to the south island, but we were not bothered as we had already got our ftf for this month.
When we got off the ferry we went and retrieved our ducky cache that had been archived, we will have to find somewhere else to place it. So then we headed up the valley. We couldn't help ourselves but to stop and see if this one had been found by the time we drove past on our way home this afternoon, it was 1-30 by the time we were here. We stopped and had a look and were a bit surprised to see a sparkly new clean log. We do wonder what the nearby house will think with random vehicles stopping outside their place, as we will be the first of many.
It certainly has been a weekend to remember people who have passed.
Thanks for placing this cache and thank you for the {FTF} smiley.
