Logs
Several trees within the park have been found to be infested with borers. DPIRD has areas fenced off,and will be inspecting, pruning or removing infected vegetation over the next week or so.
Had high hopes of finding this one & it was the highlight of my day. TFTC D-cell
WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 64 - Swan Valley Perth Day 9. I was hoping a Sunday in some inner suburbs would make for some smooth caching. I started in Subiaco and I had a great morning. I saw some interesting places and nice parks. In the middle of the day I did the Labs at the big hospital and enjoyed seeing the huge area and Bridge. I then headed off to Victoria Park. Whilst there were some very special caches here, some were too special for me and I just left a few and spent way too long at one. I spent a bit of time in Guildford on the way home checking out another drinking hole before heading home to watch F1 and cook dinner.I moved on to Victoria park and my day changed around. I started here and was fearful already given my problems in another cache on one of these trees. I spent way too long here before I changed the direction I was looking, and noticed something ever so slightly worth checking, and it was the cache. wow. Thanks for the cache DCell48123.13 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & 2009 5th Ann Compass Rose Gold A#138**Albida**
Out with Guiness12 and the Geo Dog Whacked my head walking around . What a muppet. And then I thought what cache does he do. And there it was. Nice one. Great camo!!!!!!
Out and about on the WA Day long weekend with AB73. TFTC AB73 with the quick find
A couple hugging nearby but they ignored our feet crunching on the fallen leaves of the tree. Cache was found after thinking of possible locations and only checking them. We then sat and watched a bit of baseball while here and relaxing on a park bench.
Trobat! Encontrado!Planning a running day following some cacher alongside the river. Good weather and good energy for hunt some caches in my way. Was a great day and some caches were signed today, one of them is this one:A little far from my main way I decide try a piece of Luck to these great and hard caches. One of them was DNF but this concrete one was spoted in 3 seconds. Great camouflagued! Awesome, and far from muggles, kids and angry animals! Enjoyed these kind of containers. I Will try luck to the others of the same owner. Now I know are great camos. Fav point added here. Moltes grcies. Muchas gracias.
Finally a quick DCell find. Not to detract from the actual camo but managed a quick grab here. TFTC
Kyzabra had 3 hours to kill in the area so we teamed up to knock off a few caches, this being one of them. A beautiful day to be out collecting smiles Kyzabra for the find after I mentioned an idea... fav point ________________Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache DCell you help make the game what it is today, cheers AlliedOz
Last minute run to VicPark as the the youngest had training for work. A shout out to the crew and Allied_Oz heard the call and joined me for a couple of ours caching waiting for geo-kid to finish. Moved from where my phone was taking me to make the creative find. Some credit to Allied for the suggestion. Many thanks to DCell for placing and maintaining Healer II. I was here at 4:18pm on Tuesday and this is my find 11065.
After one lap around GZ to survey what I might be up against, it turned out to be the first place I tried. That doesn't normally happen to me when it comes to DCell hides. Love the trees here - so majestic! TFTC, DCell!
Loved this. Dropped by as we head through Perth collecting unfound LGAs and this was a fantastic camo. Adding a FP. Tftc
Tftc, thankyou for the maintenance dcell, you're hides are great.
Nice to turn the smiley today in the spot I knew it should've been

Doing a dcell run and met with a frown today.
Based on previous logs I'm pretty sure I found where it was supposed to be, a certain perfect hole had my cache senses tingling but nothing in it.
Whether it was the home of the original healer or if healer II had gone missing unsure

Walked in from the city and starting to get dark. Took a lot of searching with so many possible hiding spots but I am on a roll tonight. 6 from 6! Thanks.
Had nothing to give me a “heads up”, which I needed, so did it hintless. Found it. Oh. My. Goodness. Nice camo. I’m on a mission to find 16 caches today, so 8 down, 8 to go! Number 610 for me.
Out on bike ride this morning and keen to pick up some caches. Another great camo job here TFTC
Second attempt. My gosh, what a struggle this was Thankfully, the geobf snagged it. Very clever! Tftc!
Patch was over this way a few days ago and tried her luck here but had none. Spot was given the task this morning and as luck would have it found it in seconds. All in great shape here. Thanks for some brilliant hides DCell.
Was in Vic Park for a meeting this morning so took the opportunity to pick up a few caches in the area. By chance it turns out all 8 were from the same CO... so thanks for this afternoon's entertainment DCell Not sure how, but I went straight to this one - even though it's another great camo hide! 7th DCell hide on the trot must be rubbing off on me. Have another fave point No problems here today - TFTC
I lived around here as a child and climbed all these massive fig trees! Thank for the memories, thankful I didn’t need to climb! Favourite from me! Tftc
Find 2 of 18 with no DNFs on a beautiful bike ride heading out from Burswood into Vic Park and Kensington and back via East Vic Park. Today's entertainment was mostly provided by DCell and their excellent inventions.
We knew this wasn't a standard fig tree hide, but it still took a lap or two before it was spotted.
TFTC DCell!

Stopped nearby for some drinks and seeing this cache was only a few hundred meters away popped around the corner.
Once we parked up we got about to searching all the usual spots but in the end it was SirFancy who spied the cache in a unusual location for the host.

Arranged with SirFancy to head to the football tonight and managed to duck out from home early to grab some caches before heading to the stadium.
After sitting through a very one sided game eased the pain by grabbing more caches before heading home.
A day of ups and downs ended with 9 finds, 11 adventure labs and 2 DNF’s.

I added my name to the log at 21:34 on 15/4/2022.

Thanks to an inconspicuous previous log... we made a quick find here. Great camo. Another fave point TFTC
The better half and I decided to do this cache today and found the area reasonably deserted. Took a while but I came up with the find of the cache. Log signed and cache returned as it was found.
Thanks DCell for placing this cache for us to find.

Whoo hoo my 8000th find! Will admit to PAF for this one. My idea of how the cache was hidden was way off, so I could have been here forever. Very tricky hide. Fave point for the challenge, and for my milestone TFTC
Is was having a casual Thursday arvo nap when all these DCell caches were published. I woke up and had a few missed calls, eventually agreeing to go out after dinner.
Managed to snag a couple of FTFs - and ran into olthomas whilst in the field finding the caches with Cravo10, lachlan177 and Leg5.
Thanks DCell - always enjoy your caches.
