Second cache find of the day on this nice flat walkway up to the waterfall. I parked at the I-site and walked along to this one. The title gave a nice clue and I soon spotted this nice camoed hide. TFTC.
Thanks, Kan0e....Really enjoyed your cool hide here! While I was looking in trees, Net61 found this clever cache!Favorite Point
No pen and didn’t want to give it away so photo proof thanks to the kamo guides
In the area today with Mrs stik-a-crane and junior cacher for some RnR nearby in Ruakaka.... and decide on a cycle ride trying to dodge the rain showers.... Mrs stik-a-crane located this one from the cache title..... fav.point given for this hide.

TFTC Found it pretty quick was Spoglet (3) was taking off his shoes. Cache itself would not open
Found this nifty little one after a red herring across the path. The micro is stuck shut. Unable to open.
Found by two of the junior travelbugs while out with the Guides. Sorry for the late logging, I've just got a list of what they all found. TFTC.
Came back today to uplift the JCT cache with proximity issues and had to grab this tricky little once co-ords had us on the wrong side of the path had it quickly in hand once we swapped sides
Out and about with the kids getting the caches along this walkway. Got to GZ and were looking on the wrong side - quickly changed and the cache was found. Saw what a previous cacher had seen - at first we thought it was a Weka as well until mum appeared very close by it.... a juvenile pheasant, growing quite nicely. Signed and replaced cache - TFTC
Yah, a quick and easy find this evening. Second to find too. I'm on my way to a Toosday event to celebrate 22.2.22. I was at work just a kilometer from here today but it was just too hot to attempt this after work. Besides the traffic would be dreadful at 4pm turing in and out of this road.
I've been along this walkway before collecting caches but it's certainly been a few years since I was here. The kauris are certainly looking lovely. Thanks for the neat hide

Had just got back in after working outside and I heard the phone signal a new message about a new cache in Whg. Well, it was a few kms away, but dinner could wait, so I jumped in the cache mobile and headed south.
I had an idea what I might be looking for, especially given there was no hint on the page, but when I got to GZ, the scene didn't really match what I was expecting, so I began to doubt myself. And just then, two belligerent early teens came slowly along the path on their bikes, so I continued on walking and only turned around once they were gone.
Back at GZ, I started searching for options other than what I initially thought, but still no luck. By now the GPS had settled at 2 metres, so a more thorough inspection around that area turned up what I had first thought about. And yes the log was still blank, so pleased to sign off for FTF # 278 at 8:15 pm. A nicely camo'd hide deserving of a FP from me, especially as I also got to see a weka or rail clicking away in the streambed beside GZ. Unusual to see one of these in town. TFTC
