13:26hrs - not what I thought. I was so fixated on a particular type of cache, that i missed it many times. Then i saw a previous log and realised the shape. This made me a little more thorough, and I located it. TFTC.
11:26hrs - i forgot my gloves today. I was not willing to put my bare hands in lots of webby places . Yikes another DNF. Clearly my caching skills are broken . I will be back when I'm more focused
Puzzle solved several months ago. Better visit the area again. After half a day at work and before joining my muggle teen at a Y12 exhibition, some quick finds this afternoon. Thanks Booo Booo for sharing this cache for everyone to enjoy.
Between Steeba, The Rats, and myself, it is over three months since we've all been home at the same time. So with us all back in the same place at the same time, it was the perfect reason to head out caching for a day. A cold and windy Sunday in western Sydney, aiming for a few series that we hadn't yet found. We found a heap of caches, of which this was one. As always the journey is better than the destination, and the banter made the journey.Cheers
Out and about today with The Rats and Hoojar around Western Sydney tackling a number of solved puzzles, multis and whatever else we could find along the way.TFTC!
A nice quick loop around Luddenham finding a handful of solved puzzlesThanks Booo Booo for the cache
Heading to Penrith for the day, seen this cache just off the main road so we made a quick detour and found the cache in the likely stop. TFTC

Signed as CDI - Canberra Day Invasion. isopeda, barb2e, Kittykatch, albida33, fitzy_1965, Joolay, MinnieK, Contesta, Smittengranny. Day three of the long weekend (Canberra Day) of caching. We had solved the puzzles in the weeks and months before this trip, ALs, multis and some of the Wherigos were done at location of course.
Sorry about the generic logs - logging after days of crazy driving and navigating with not much time between the caches.

30,084. Found during an invasion of the 'Bargo up to Penrith' region on the Canberra Day long weekend with a great bunch of Cachers.
With the Canberra Day long weekend upon us, a number of Canberra region Cachers performed an invasion of the Bargo up to Penrith area. Canberra Day Invasion 2023 (signed as CDI23) consisted of minniek, Joolay, Kittykatch, isopeda, barb2e, albida33, smittengranny, Contesta and myself. Day 2. An early-ish start soon had us on the road grabbing more caches. This was one of many pre-solved puzzles/wherigos in preparation for this trip, and a quick find at GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cache as found, then headed off to the next one on the list.
Thanks Booo Booo !!

Day 2 of our Canberra Day invasion saw us start early in Bargo and finish in Penrith for the night.
I was down with a migraine for most of the morning but after the good drugs, I was much better by the end of the day when I could contribute a bit more.
We spent the day picking up trads, multis, solved puzzles & wherigos along with the odd AL thrown in for good measure.
All caches found quickly and easily unless otherwise mentioned.

Picton & Penrith Canberra Day weekend Invasion. Day 3. For the next chapter of this trip there were two farewells and an early start fro breakfast in Picton before we got underway. Today the group was made up of Fitzy_1965, MinnieK, Joolay, Kitty Katch, Barb2e, Isopeda, Smitten Granny and Contesta. We still had a plenty of caches to do and we got underway on a warming day. The group signed CDI23 the same as yesterday. In addition to all the caches we had planned for the day, we also had to get to Penrith in time for dinner. We did a mixture of roadside traditional caches and the GFA series. We ended the day with caches around Warragamba. Another long fun day caching in this region.
As we reached Wallacia, the caches became mostly part of the GFA series and we did a bit of a loop to visit as many of them as possible. We managed a break in Luddenham then finished the loop via Mulgoa.
Thanks for the cache Booo Booo

Second in today's GFA quest. When I arrived here Roadwork signs and a contraflow were in place, but no roadwork was occurring. The workers must have gone to the pie shop. That made it easy for me to park up and make a quick find.
A lovely puzzle to solve, and then a short distance to drive to GZ. At the moment there are roadworks in the area, however, we parked the car nearby and walked to GZ, where we made a quick find.
Thanks Booo Booo for this great series of puzzles, geoart and hides.

Shared the find here with goingplaces2 and am happy to colour in another of this series. TFTC.
Found a few more caches in the area and were happy to sign the log together with iloook4geo. Thanks for this cache placement go to BoooBooo.
The puzzle was a quick solve .
This was the second attempt to collect this ,along with the other one further down the road. Like many places in the area lots of road works are being done. Fortunately, today no works being carried out today . Located the hide in no time thanks for the hint, thou I did expect it in the usual spot . I only noticed it by accident in a different sort of container in an unexpected spot. TFTC Booo Booo

Thanks to all the Booo's for making my day... I have been solving a lot of their puzzles and today was the day for a caching raid on them . Thanks also to the wonderful SueDan83's for chauffeuring and giving me such a wonderful day when I needed it... your generosity warms my soul and has helped me immensely. Oh and I also got some of Sue's Cherryripe biscuits and got to use Dan's "squid catching" pole... woohoo!... fantastic day. Sorry for the generic logs but it was a long day... 53 finds, 4 DNF's and surprisingly 2 FTF's. So a HUGE thanks to all the CO's for giving back to this wonderful game.
We are on another short (four day) caching holiday in Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains, staying for three nights in a park cabin at the Ingenia Nepean River BIG4 Holiday Park at Emu Plains. Planning to collect some of the solved GFA puzzle caches around Luddenham and Wallacia, then visiting the Blue Mountains from Springwood to Wentworth Falls (over two days) for numerous Adventure Labs and other targeted caches. This was our 3rd find of the day (day 1), and 3rd find of the holiday.
This one was next, but we had to take the long way around to reach it due to roadworks blocking our most direct route, but it was a nice quick find once at GZ. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. Thanks Booo Booo for the puzzle & cache.

OCW frazeydaze. Our target today was to find the caches in the CO's GFA Series that we solved recently. In all we found sixteen imaginative caches, most of which were home made. Thanks to the generous hints all caches were quickly found. All caches and logs were found in good condition.

I am terribly behind in my logging. It's getting close to five months since I regularly reported on the caches I've found. YIKES! Well, at least I'm currently only 3 months behind.
To be honest, while I still find searching for caches fun, I'm finding logging less so. But I have to log to get me stats and souvenirs, so...
In this time only the Adventure Labs found and my First2Finds have been written up - don't want people racing out when it's already been snaffled.
But I've been busy finally getting ready to move into our new house - now in and I'm still coming to terms with the extra room/rooms!
But I did still try to find time to cache on the days that my 2022 goal of 16 finds per caching day demanded I find something. In fact, for the most part my modus operandi has been to actually aim for 20. So far I've only failed on that a few times, and only by 1 find. Amazingly I'm on track for 19 finds per day, but somehow I expect that will eventually prove too hard as I have to travel a good distance if I want more than a cache a day.
Anyway. thanks to all the CO's who are getting short shrift from my generic logs. I hope to eventually get back to them and flesh them out, but no promises.
I've found some fun Traditionals and solved some interesting, but not impossible puzzles. And Multis and other cache types have been grabbed where possible.
###END OF GENERIC ABJECT GROVELLING SECTION###
Out to Luddenham and Warragamba for some calendar finds today. Plenty of solved puzzles were just waiting to be found!
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Any cache specific comments will be added here. Don't hold your breath, though.

After attending the Geocaching NSW event, a small group of geocahcing enthusiasts headed out west for a selection of caches around Liddenham.
I teamed up with Wilbert67 and Meritonnn for a drive around Liddenham for GFA1 to GFA 10, mingled with a few traditionals.

Today is about adventure. Geocaching NSW is organising an event at the western Sydney parklands and you can go up the trees after that. Found a few caches along the way getting there, did the new caches around the event and picked up another few on the way home. Great day and all caches found easily.

After the GCNSW event at Western Sydney Parklands, a number of us decided to head over to Luddenham way to grab the GFA series of caches. Our convey of geo-mobiles soon made a beeline for the bakery where we had a tasty lunch before splitting up into smaller groups. I joined Its_Dozzie and Wilbert67 and off we went. Nicely hidden.
