This week I'm Perth for a business trip. As an avid geocacher, coming from as far as Belgium, it was a good opportunity to get my third Australian state in the list. So I did some proper planning, and in spit of the killer jet-lag, on Sunday afternoon, I went for a geo-walk down town.I really enjoyed the city and the caches I found .. I enjoyed less the ones that I didn't Thanks for placing and maintaining the caches ..and showing me this beautiful city !!

Interesting history and the church is still in good condition. I caught the bus into the city to go to another church and had time to fill in, so I decided to do this cache as it was close by. A quick find which was great as I've had a few 'did not finds' in the last couple of days! Tftc

WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 59 - Swan Valley Perth Day 4. My outing today was a train ride into the City from Guildford. Very nice trains, only a bit crowded in the morning. It was a clear, sunny but quite cold morning and most of the day. It made walking around the city very pleasant. I managed quite a few challenging caches, a nice multi around some amazing art and two sets of Labs. I fund a nice cafe for Breakfast and was back on the train home by early afternoon on a virtually empty train. A great day out, and I hope to try it again one day next week.I had been working sone Labs, but found myself here, so just had to have a quick look. Happily it was there, and for one of these, the log came out easily. Thanks for the cache Barco48021.5 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & 2011 Chinese Dragon 2 A#203**Albida**
Found this one at 07:50 while on a pre-brekky walk this morning. A relatively quick one after a squiz at the hint. TNLNSL, although our BYO pen geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks Barco.
A nice little church, thanks for being me thereThanks Barco for Hidden History - St John's#6169
We spent several hours exploring the city while tackling some Multis and Adventure Labs. Plenty of walking and stress involved trying to juggle everything at once, which probably wasnt the best option in the end.We grabbed the Adventure Lab here and decided to grab this cache too, although It took several minutes for the coords to settle just a tad to help us in point a suitable spot and after a quick search where we expected it to be the cache was in hand. Thanks for bringing us here.#4361 - TFTC
Being a Sunday, we thought it would be a good day to walk around and explore the city of Perth. Perhaps less people around, but that turned out to be wrong after we saw so many people, literally thousands who had completed an organised run or walk this morning. We spent quite a few hours just meandering and looking at the history, often using Adventure Labs to guide us along our way. What a beautiful and tiny church near GZ. We stopped to make the find here and then continued our walk. Thanks Barco Domsky
Found it , very sneaky. On the way back to our accommodation. I left the group and snapped up this one. Tftc

Hello Perth!
With a week off work, I flew over to Western Australian for an adventure and to celebrate my birthday.
It was fun to explore the CBD and learn more about the history and area through finding caches.
Thanks Barco for pointing out this teeny church.

On a walk around the city after dinner, certainly the time to cache unhindered. Took a couple of minutes to find, but cache is there safe and sound. No actions needed. Last cache of the evening!
While I wandered off to do a part of an AL hubby looked for this cache.
He had to wait untill I returned with a pen to sign the log.
This was the traditional cache we did in the city. The rest were ALs or virtuals.
Thanks Barco for placing this cache.

Finding a few caches in the center of town before flying home later in the week
Very well hidden. I missed it on the first pass, but got it on the second. A helpful muggle saw me consulting my electronics between the two, and asked me if I was needed directions. I tried to explain geocaching, but I don't think I made a convert. She did seem reassured that I knew exactly where I was. TFTC!

Gee I timed this one poorly as the students came flooding out school but managed to sign the logsheet and return the cache to its spot undetected.
