Made this harder than it should have been. Not under Thanks Alisnan for Round & round we go#6232
I am down under for the very first time. Visiting Australia has always been a dream of mine, and I cannot believe it has come true. Australia's nature and wildlife really captivated me. Over three weeks, I saw many wonderful beaches, sunsets, animals such as , and I found great geocaches. My tour guide was mostly geocaching, and through it, I discovered many beautiful places I wouldnt have seen without our great hobby. I mainly stayed in Brisbane but also visited other gorgeous places such as Noosa Heads and Springbrook. I spent a few days on the Gold Coast and Moreton Island, and I went to New South Wales to have visited a second state in Australia. During my stay, the winter and early spring in Queensland were very warm, the sun shone every single day, and I did not see a single drop of rain. My time down under was so beautiful and unforgettable. Australia is such a stunning country! Two days ago, I arrived in Brisbane and today I explored the city for the second time. I really like this city and I discovered beautiful places. I also looked for many geocaches like this one. At GZ I found the cache easily. After signing the log I put the container back as found. Thank you for this geocache and hi to the CO says Mr. J. Cacher from the other side of the world
Astounded that this was the first spot I checked. Gotta get lucky every now and then I guess.
Searched the bridge for about 20m. Finally realised to check the wall next to the bridge. Found the cache. Tftc.
Thanks for this quick find to finish my day. This is an R for my spell April challenge.
It is 1:30 am in the morning and I drive from Toowoomba to Brisbane airport every day for work. Mondays, I drive a little truck and am able to access little streets to find geocaches when I am a little ahead of schedule. A quick detour off of the normal route and I am soon parked up at the end of a Surburban street. Once I got out of the truck and saw the general gz area I thought, 'I only have 5 mins here'. After a short search I found the cache and was able to add my name to the list. Thanks for the cache.
Early start this morning to attend the event with the tardy mice. Now for some caching.TFTCache alisnan
Semi retirement now allows me to do early morning Event through the week so today's super early start took me to Tardy Mouse Coffee with Hatzofff and RoddyC. Event over and off to cache on the Northside of Brisbane since we don't come here often. This didn't take too long before Hatzofff had the cache in hand and we we signing the log before replacing as found. TFTC
We had an early mousy coffee event over northside, so an opportunity to organise some unfound caches.Good one. Quickly found. Log signed and cache replaced as found at 12:36 PM on December 14, 2023. TFTC, alisnan
After leaving Suncorp, on way to The Barracks, I may have gotten off track, but there is a cache nearby where I am, this was it, so as I have trouble going past any Green spots, or Blue unhappy faces, I did what all geocachers do, look for, and find the cache, put my stamp sign on log, and replaced hide as found, all is in good condition today Alisnan, thanks for placing the hide
Inbound to the city for a catch up with friends, I was running a little early, so decided to detour for a cache or two. I attempted the multi near the stadium, but got muggles out, so ventured down the road to this one. Nice and quiet around the area, but I wasn't sure what level I needed to be on to secure the find. As I zeroed in on GZ, I spotted a likely hiding option and on reaching in, I put my hand on the cache in the first place I tried. That is not a common occurrence I can tell you... I quickly added my name to the log and tucked the cache back in place before I was unexpectedly approached by one of those muggle folk. All done, I had killed enough time, so to the CBD it was.Cheers Alisnan.
Late Tuesday night and I realised I had a gap day, so I decided that it was a good time to take the dog for a walk. Well a walk after a little drive that is. I did try a cache at Kelvin Grove before attempting this one. I parked in the dead end section and we commenced our search. No one around this evening so I probably didnt need the walking the dog alibi. I found the cache quite quickly and used the nearby railing to sign the log sheet. All is dry with this log book. Replaced the cache as found and we were on our way again. Thanks very much for this cache placement Alisnan. Cheers
Out finding a few caches with CuriousQuest. This one was quickly located and the log signed. TFTC
Out and about with Selva Girls today. A nice quick find at GZ. Log signed and replaced as found. TFTC
The CO could have made this much harder if they had wanted! I have never been here before, thanks for the excuse to explore.
In the city with Barb. Always time for a cache or two.
Reminds me of one closer to home. Nice quick find.

alisnan I found your cache Round & round we go on 30/4/2023, 4:10 pm. This is my find 5155 and find # 14 today. Found it after a brief search. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Completed the nearby AL, so headed here for a quick walk up, spot, retrieve, sign replace. Tftc
Had to take the bridge to get to the cache - although we later discovered we could park pretty close to GZ. Found fairly quickly.
Found a spot to park and moseyed up to GZ where we made me find. All good. TFTC
Methodically worked my way along the wall until I got to the section where I found it. We parked in the side street so no going round and round today. Thanks alisnan
A lovely but hot Sunday afternoon spent in the general area collecting caches and completing ALs, my trusty geopup happy to be out and about.
Cache was quickly found, log signed and all replaced as found.
Thanks alisnan for the cache.

Dropped my daughter at her first rehearsal at the Brisbane Arts Theatre today. She has been going to watch shows at this theatre for years and is so excited to finally be performing up on stage. Then I headed out to do my thing - find all the geocaches in the area. Got to the GZ here and looked around quickly. Where could it be? There? Yep. Wow, that was quick. TFTC!
Tftc Alisnan, in this part of Brisbane for a very short time so a drive to the nearby caches is called for
No probs finding this, not where we thought it would be tho

Always forget about this neat little urban bend.
Found the cache in the first spot.
There was already a little swag inside so took nothing and left a path tag.
Thanks for this and all the other new caches you’ve left in the area.

kolour and I were able to get together again today, and after we took the walk out to A Cursed Pistol, we decided to find a few caches that we both needed.
One just for me, seeing as we were going right past. It's surprisingly quiet given the major road right nearby. Cache was in the first spot I looked! TFTC, alisnan.

Out for a little spin on the bike.

My children went to Petrie Terrace school many years ago yet I didn’t walk around these nearby streets. With great coordinates, I put my hand on the cache first go. Thanks for the cache and bringing me back to this area.
Thought this was gonna take a while, but we thought outside the box and found it pretty quick tftc
This evening during my commute back home, I thought I would take a slightly different route passing by a couple of geocaches in Normanby. There was no Suncorp Stadium game this evening, which allowed me some solo tie to search for the various geocaches without getting surprised by rugby muggles.
This cache gave me the opportunity to ride my back nearby to Ithaca Pool, and I hadn't checked out this area before (other than finding GC10DDD Ithacache but I had accessed that cache from Given Terrace down the stairwell. There were a few people using the skate park given the nice weather on a Friday evening, and I soon arrived at this circular ramp. I had an initial search around where I thought it would be, and despite a few nice hiding areas, I then started to expand my search in the area. I had left my phone on my bike thinking I knew better, so after grabbing that and following my phone to a GZ of 0-1 m, I soon found the cache in another equally terrific hiding place. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks alisnan for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Thanks for good coordinates to make an easy find. Tftc and greetings from Cairns
This morning I awoke early and decided the make the most of my time before work. I’ve been targeting the finding of a hindered or more caches per month this year and as I’m heading away and not sure how many I’ll find in the first few days of our trip I had another nine caches to find before con on Saturday. Found this one quiet quickly. Eight more to go.
After grabbing a cache up the road we decided to collect one more before heading home. GPS accurate for this one which helped narrow things down. TFTC!

On uber-duty tonight - so with a couple hours to kill in the area figured time to knock off a few more of these newer caches in this area. Quick find here inthe first place I put my hand.
Thanks alisnan for entertaining me at this location.

Back for another shot at it.
I remember being right here many years ago, arriving minutes after the publication of the cache up on the bridge, and being astonished to see two other cachers walking down from claiming the FTF. They had been driving right past. Oh well…
Today, the painters were long gone and the cache was found without much drama.
TFTC where all is fine.

Really happy to find a group of new caches in the Paddington/ Petrie Terrace area! I decided for Good Friday I’d try for 6. This was the third cache and on the edge of Paddington. I ride to work each day and sometimes circle up this fantastic ramp and over the bridge. GPS took me wishing 50cm of the cache and I literally reached out and grabbed it! Thanks Alisnan for placing this cache.
Just as well it wasn’t green or on the round and round or the painters would have found it today!
Great views from the bridge

Look like they’re repainting the whole thing today. Oh well, I’ll return another time.
With a houseguest staying with us at the moment my caching is a little curtailed…. But having dropped the partner at work I had just enough time to pop over the river and have a look here…
With my head on almost constant swivel looking for approaching muggles it was my fingers that found the cache….
Tftc… I don’t think I got busted…

Sunday afternoon was a good time to check it out as there were no muggles in sight and I had found a close parking spot.
A check of a number of hiding spots before I put my hand on the cache.

Found with Zapp12 as walking past on the way home from work. He actually found this one which is odd as I normally find them and he claims them all as easy finds. TFTC
A third and final find for the day.
From memory I have found a cache around here before.
Still dry after all the rain.
Thank you for hiding this geocache alisnan

After work i popped in here to pick up this smiley. There was one park left close by and near GZ i first spotted a great big wasp nest but luckily when i looked at my compass it was well out of the way. It was then not long before i spotted this cache. I did ride over this bridge last week when finding another cache nearby . Handy little bridge. Thanks for taking me here and for placing this cache here for us to enjoy
*FTF*
Quick find. It’s actually a nice spot here if you can block out the traffic noise on the other side of the wall. I remember there used to be a cache right in the middle of the bridge, above Hale St but I guess it must’ve been archived.
Thanks for the cache and the trackable

OH My, this is the third time in three days I have been to this area, lol. I saw this come out last night and after dropping the kids at school I went for a drive over to collect this one and a couple others in the area.
I have set myself a personal challenge and this helps me continue on with that. This was a good hide and the hint helped, but there is a lot of places it could be so I started at the beginning and just felt around. It was not long before I found it and noticed a familiar stamp already in there. Well that makes me STF (second to find) lol. Thanks for the hide and I signed the log, replaced as found and went on to my next one for the day.
