Out for the day with Mycro Man doing some Christmas Shopping. Stopped by here and spend some money at Harvey Norman on the way back. Mycro Man spotted this one from a few meters away. Thanks for the cache.
I was in Lower Hutt this afternoon and wanted to pick up a cache whilst there. Id tried another one nearby but couldnt make sense of it! Got to this one and took a moment or two to figure out where I needed to be looking. After that it was a reasonably quick find. #7971. TFTC.
A nice quick find, walked over the bridge to get to GZ. Thanks for placing your cache. Ms_KR and I are heading South and home again. Today we cruised around Lower Hutt waiting for the ferry checkin time. There are a few white caps on the harbour, hoping for a quiet crossing.Occassionally signed MK+KR on cache logs, and apologies for the generic logs.Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches.

This was a last minute addition to my list of caches, but it was very close to where I had lunch, so I had to find it. Great hiding spot. TFTC.
After coffee with L and C I headed back out this way, a nice easy find here and soon located.After a couple of nights in barracks at TRE I was ready to head back up the line to Manawatu to log my NS finds and get back into a 'normal' rhythm. First though I'd said I'd meet up with my daughter and her partner for a morning coffee and I had some nearby caching options beckoning. Seemed to be a bit of a train theme today; Some lost stations of the Hutt, a Sidetracked themed one, some tickets please puzzles and a Haywards interchange. Not intentional, just the way they were selected on the phone. Nothing like the numbers of last few days but still some great experiences and fun. Thanks to all COs.
#14,945. A good walk along the riverbank to Melling Link in Hutt Central, Lower Hutt. Fortunately, the GZ was all quiet at the time of our visit. Relatively quick find. The cache, which was a micro rather than a small, was in good condition, all nice and dry inside. Did a reccy earlier in the day and came back to find it this evening when it was quieter!
I'm back in Wellington for the long weekend!! I arrived at 7am on the overnight Intercity from Auckland, where I'm living at the moment, and almost as soon as I got to my grandparents' house, my aunt's dog Mocha (who we're dogsitting this weekend) was begging for a walk, so I grabbed the lead and treats and off we went. 
It ended up being a run rather than a walk but it was just what we both needed after being cooped up.Mocha was mostly deciding where we went but I made sure we went past a few geocaches including this one. It was an easy find and Mocha was very patient while I signed it (as 'Lumin & Mocha') and placed it back.Thank you for the cache! A nice start to my visit!(#2160)

#2669. A trip to Lower Hutt gave me a reason to finally seek vengeance for my DNF on this cache, which I'd previously looked for unsuccessfully on 28/2/2022, two days after publication. Nice to change blue to yellow.Tftc Dragons22.

A quick find once I followed the coordinates. I decided I knew where it was so didn't check the location on arrival, once I turned on navigate I easily had it in hand!
Rattll and I are in Lower Hutt on a showery day. We approached GZ from Melling Bridge, only to find a construction worker practically sitting on the hide having his lunch. We kept going, heading towards Queensgate. Returning about 40 min later, we found GZ clear, so were able to make a quick search to find the cache. All good, tftc!
Out for a days caching in the Lower Hutt area, with matagouri.As per the title, we walked along the riverbank, to find a couple of muggles sitting at GZ. So, we continued on to do another cache and picked it up on the way back, when the muggles had moved on. We checked a number of options before making the find.Thanks for putting this here
We walked across the bridge from where we were parked at Melling rather than along the river bank. There was some event further along so parking was a mission and there was also a long line of traffic on the bridge. The log was fine from our perspective. TFTC # 19,825
In the area with woolwood9 so thought we should visit a few caches!

Out this way and found myself with some time to kill. Only one thing to do ... find a cache to go towards the Wheel of Challenge. The hint made for a quick find, retrieval was easy. TFTC 
#12,600. I popped over to Lower Hutt at lunchtime today as I needed a few cache finds and things were busy this evening. Parked some distance away and went for a wander along the river trail. At GZ I spotted the hiding place with some telltale signs familiar to cachers. But the container was well wedged in there and took some dexterity to get it out with my fat fingers at least. Signed the logbook and left the cache less wedged but still covered with natural camo. Thanks Dragons22 for hiding it here.

After lunch and on my way back to the car I had a look for this cache. Two wrong places checked before the right spot was easily found - although getting the cache was a bit tricky.

Odd little hide - my main issue was grabbing it after locating the most likely spot (Fbeg bs n Cevatyrf pna fvghngvba jvgu zl ovt unaqf). Had a nice walk today around Lower Hutt finding caches. Tftc!
An early morning visit in an attempt to try and find this one without worrying about muggles. There were some about but none passing me by in this spot so was free to search and I made a quick find of the cache. Signed and replaced. All godo here, and TFTC.

What a wet day that was brightened by geocaching. A bit of an error initially when we looked at the wrong hint object but Flowerydaze soon had the correct one identified. TFTC Dragons22.
I took a look here in March but there had already been several DNFs and it turned out the cache was missing.
I had the right idea then and found the cache quickly this time. However on the previous visit the hide item had a lot of water in it so this might happen again if we get much rain.

We had such a good time yesterday in and around Lower Hutt that we decided to go back over again today for another crack.
Cache #11 today. Parked as close as we could and made the short stroll to GZ. Quite a few hint items to choose from however spotted the necessary one pretty much straight away. Especially liked the use of the rock for the cache note!

A bit of a mixed morning in Lower Hutt this morning, a DNF, then we started heading towards one then found it had a reviewer note, another DNF, then yaaayyy a QEF here to make up for the previous frustrations. A well spotted hiding place. Thanks for ensuring we have happy memories of our rather brief outing this morning.
