Staying in Koroit, we visited Warrnambool. I was keen to do this virtual cache, but it was blowing g a gale and was hot, and Muggle Husband was not thrilled. After lunch, it had cooled down, so a return visit was made, and the information was collected.
TFTC the cache, this one took us a while. Its a very busy intersection so please take care
Horn and gehschei visited the dirty angel today. Thanks for the short history lesson and the quick confirmation of the answers!
Answers sent and approved. Respect.Cleaning up Victoria with gridge98. We are on a mission this week. Completing twenty finds in Mexican local government areas is the challenge. Another find with the correct criteria. It is in Victoria and we have not accumalated twenty finds in this local government area.Today was the day to find this cache. Today is Moon's day the fourteenth day of the octavus month of the Roman calendar in the wonderful year of twenty twenty four. We found your cache container and added some inky stuff to the paper sheet or note pad you have supplied for a log book or scroll. The cache container and log book or scroll were in good condition. It was a bit cooler today. It was so windy today. A few showers. With the log signed and the cache replaced it was time to leave. Onwards to the next cache. Woot, that is not to far.I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. Just arrived and great to see a cache just a couple of hundred metres away from my hotel, and one that reflects this history of the town.Message sent with answers, and photo attached. Thanks for placing this virtual cache and bringing me here.
Thought today being Vietnam Veterans Day would be a good day to finally do this virtual, seeming part required a visit to a memorial dedicated to them. All flags are flying at half mast as a mark of respect. The RSL are holding a service at the memorial later today.Thank you to all Vietnam Veterans for your service and sacrifice
I had heard about this statue before, and so was interested to visit it. All I can say is what a bunch of dirty people there must be in this town!
Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state of WA on a SA caching foray. Spending a few days in Warrnambool to grab some local finds. Great location and impressive monument. Thanks for the cacheLNCU
Travelling with richlink on our Annual Caravan Geocaching road trip, using geocaching as our guide. Thanks for the Virtual cache. LNCU.
A nice park and a good tribute. Pity I was not here a few weeks previous for the ANZAC Service.
Found this with gridge98 on our road trip to Victoria. We took the great ocean road to Warrnambool, then to Ballarat and Halls Gap. Fantastic trip away over 5 days. Thanks for the cache! fav point!
We came here on the right day with the Anzac ceremony flowers still in place, an interesting piece of history herecourtneyrose_ and I headed away to Victoria for a 5 day trip for me to partake in the Ballarat Marathon. Along the way we made our way to the great ocean road to explore the area, after both of us had not been there for many years. We then headed to Ballarat for 2 nights before heading to Halls Gap for a scenic experience for the night before making our way back to home to Adelaide. Thanks for the cache.
On our couple of days stay here at Warrnambool for the school holidays, we came here as one of our first stops of exploring Warrnambool.
We were in this vicinity yesterday watching the St Kilda v Richmond game and I suspected there might be a cache nearby but by the time the game finished it was too late to look.Back today and after taking the required photo we wandered the short distance to get the answers to the questions which have been sent to the CO.Thanks for an easy virtual Wollaston.
We were in Portland for a few days visiting dad and thought that we would break up the monopoly and head to Warrnambool to find some caches. This one was of interest to us as we had found a previous cache highlighting this AngelParking was at a premium so dad stayed in the car while we did the walking. We collected the required information with out too much trouble and they have been sent off to the CO.We then had to take Dad for a short drive to show him why this is the Dirty Angel. Many thanks Wollaston for bringing us back to this area.
Today we will leave South Australia and enter Victoria. Stopped first at the border for some pictures and then continued towards Portland and later Warnambool. Again a lot of fun things to see along the route - and we're quite lucky with the weather, 18 degrees and sun-cloud mix. After dinner nearby while Simo was waiting in a line to pay for it, Hinni quickly went over to this nearby virtual. Collected the answers and took the required picture. Thanks and kind regards from Switzerland, Hinni&Simo
#14,494. I have come over to Australia to attend the Great Leap Forward Mega event and travelling around with geocaching buddy Infoferret. We are now making our way east to Melbourne but staying at Geelong tonight. The target today is a series of challenge caches but virtuals, earthcaches and adlabs are always of interest and we are sprinkling in some traditionals and multis to boost the number of counties for various challenges. Stayed overnight in the lovely town of Waarnambool which I last visited in 2002. Before we hit the road we are doing some local caches.IF has sent the requested answers to this one off to the CO on 12 March on both our behalf. Had some issues reading one of the numbers as the sun glare was strong on the reflective surface. A nice memorial but yes I see what you mean. Maybe it should be called the horny angel. Thanks Wollaston for bringing us here and revealing the local folklore.
Thanks to Wollaston for this virtual. We enjoyed our wander. We have stopped by here many times over the years and had heard about the Angel's habits. There were lots of people in town this morning.
In Australia with GSEL and a fair few other NZ cachers, having a lot of fun, and trying to find as many interesting caches as we can today, of which this is one. Many, many, thanks Wollaston for setting this cache up. Your work is truly appreciated by this crazy Kiwi! TFTC.GSEL and I wandered around the various locations, gathering the information needed, which has now been sent through to the Cache owner.I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.
Visited this location after dinner nearby. It was rather breezy up here so we did not hang around. Answers sent and pic taken. Mrs BLB was a bit slow on the uptake in realising why the angel got it's name - DOH! Lol!! Tftc
Called past here to make the observations after camping out at Lake Leake for the night, heading south-east towards our next destination at Johannah Beach along the Great Ocean Road. Stopped off in Warrnambool to search for a few caches on our way along the coastline. Thanks for the Virtual cache Wollaston!
Find # 26 776This cache: Answer sent, for both eterg and me, and before i even had hit "send" - at least that how it seemed! - i got "that will do..." from co!A nice place, a nice virtual, and immedetialy responce = FP in my book!Thank you!MAIN LOG MONDAY MARCH 4TH 2024AUSTRALIA TOUR - DAY 6eterg and me - stensbye - are visiting all the way from Norway, first of all to attend the Mega-event in Adelaide on Leap day!Wich we did!We also attended several other events, and found some old caches, some virtuals, earthcaches, Labs, and whatever that came in our way, if we had the time.We met a lot of warm, welcoming people, who came to us to speak, giving us alot of tips, and help! This Mega-event in Adelaide, and the surrounding events, more Geocachers has come to speak to me/uson these few events, than all other events together! Almost 300 so far!Not counting excisting geocaching-friends that is!So cudos to all participants and co/eo! Well done!!That is now two days history, and today was time to make new history!Teres a lot of old caches here in Australia, so i picked those who filled the holes in etergs hidden month/Jasmer-calendar,wich i think and hope shes happy about!Today we got to Ballarat, from Mt Gambier, about 200 km before Melbourne, from Adelaide, and yet again we tried the "Golden Ocean Road",wich supposed to be nice.Well, we are from Norway, so it dindt impress us. At all. But today we got a view over the ocean for a while. We hoped to get to Melbourne today, but that plan fell apart, so we try again tomorrow. From Ballarat were heading the other direction, for about 25 km, for yet another old cache, before we give a shot at Melbourne. If youre cache is receiving this log, that means we visited it, found it,signed it - unless if it was a Virtual ofcourse - as TA = Team Avensis, wich was eterg and me, and replaced it!Thank you all for all the caches!Greetings from Norway!TA = Team Avensis = eterg and stensbye
Travelling with stensbye. We will stay two weeks in Australia. After four days in Adelaide we are now on the way to Melbourne and we had a stop here. Thank you for this virtuell cache.
As a once in a lifetime holiday, this year we are traveling for 7 weeks to Vietnam, Bali, Australia and New Zealand. In Australia we meet Ellen Sch and MrVon sr and Ingsve to visit these last two countries, so here we cache together. We signed the log with N4. Now we have solved many caches so we have a large number of solved coordinates. But we are interested in all types of caches, so if you receive a log, it means that we have visited your cache. We haven't quite decided where we're going, but we'll probably let the weather decide for us. We want warmth because in Norway it is now freezing. We will stay for about 2 weeks in Australia and 2 weeks in New Zealand and we will end the trip with the Mega event in Adeleide on 29 February. So thank you very much to all of you who make it possible for us to travel around finding caches. On March 6, we set course for Norway again. There are extremely nice people everywhere and we are welcomed, we thank you very much. Thanks to our cache friends for good company on the trip. Now has Ellen Sch, MrVon sr and Insve started on their jurney home to Norway so we now sign logs with our nick.
#19336 - 7:06:00 AM; Day six of "The Great Leap Forward" road trip and the last leg of the journey back home to Canberra after spending the night in Warnambool. Started the day early to allow for a bit more caching time as I head along the highway. A quieter day today with seven finds and plenty of kilometers travelled. All caches were found in good order and where appropriate, were returned as found once the log was signed. I had this one on the 'to do' list before leaving town and I wasn't disappointed. A fave here for the local interest! Answers sent to the CO who gave the OK. Apologies for the largely generic logs TFTC Wollaston
Out on a geocache trip with Ellen Sch and ingsve on holiday in Australia, and today it was this area that was prioritized If nothing else is mentioned, we found the cache at good coordinates and it was fine To save space in the log, we often log in with the nickname N3 Many thanks to CO for laying out and maintaining this Greetings from Norway TFTCUte p en geocache-tur med Ellen Sch og ingsve p ferien i Australia og idag var det dette omrdet som ble prioritert Hvis ikke annet er nevnt s fant vi cachen p gode koordinater og den hadde det braFor spare plass i loggen logger vi ofte med nick N3Tusen takk til Til CO for utlegg og vedlikehold av denne Hilsen fra Norge TFTC
Cachehilsen fra Ellen Sch, NorgeMe and MrVon sr have come down to Australia and New Zealand, -an old dream has finally come to an end. Team Eika and Ingsve have also traveled with us on this trip.We have been traveling cross-country for a month, and the goal is to end up in Adeleide and mega-event on the leap year. We have especially looked for old caches, to fill jasmer'n, for a couple of pieces, and for the other two of us who have started to think about reviewing more. The vast majority of them showed up at their places, sometimes we had to search a bit, but we were usually lucky in the end. There were also some DNFs.We have mostly logged in with the common nickname N3 (ingsve, Von sr. and Ellen Sch), but our own nicknames are also used.A big thank you to all you CO's for laying out and maintaining your caches. Without their work, we would never have been able to make a living with this hobby.Always nice to have a new smiley face on the map.Cache greetings from Ellen Sch, Norway
EnglishWe are six Norwegians on a trip to Australia and New Zealand. We arrived in Melbourne at the beginning of February and are traveling home after the mega event in Adelaide. Everybody loves a Dirty Angel. Cool idea for a Virtual Cache. Loci612 sent the answers to the CO. My photos of the Dirty Angel have been included with my log. Found during my trip to South Australia for the MEGA.
Greetings from Seattle! I'm down under for the first time with jtcoffee to attend the Great Leap Forward in Adelaide. While here, we're naturally trying to pack in as many "bonus" activities as possible, including (but not limited to) the following: ??? Log our find finds in the southern hemisphere ????? Find Australia's oldest, [GC3E](https://coord.info/GC3E) Lane Cove & the world's **First** Earthcache, [GCHFT2](https://coord.info/GCHFT2) ??? Experience Taylor Swift's Eras Tour in Sydney ?? Drive the Great Ocean Road ????Tackle a challenge cache requiring 31 Earthcaches, and 31 Virtuals in 31 days ([GC32TBZ](https://coord.info/GC32TBZ) and [GC32TC2](https://coord.info/GC32TC2)) ?? ???? Visit the Lord of the Rings filming locations in New Zealand ??This was our second find of the day and after grabbing the multi nearby, we headed to the Dirty Angel. If applicable, answers have been sent in (or will be soon) by my co-pilot, Jessie. Thanks for placing this one and thus contributing to our amazing adventure in Oz! ??
Greetings from Seattle! ??I am lucky enough to attend the Great Leap Forward Mega-Event in Adelaide with my fellow Lackey and best geo-buddy giacaches, and we hit the road to take the scenic route to get there. ?? Today we'll finally be arriving in Adelaide, heading north from Warrnambool. The goals were to get as many LGAs as we could and see how many fun spots we could find along the way.We were keen on finding a bunch of Virtual Caches for this trip since that would help with a challenge I signed years ago, so we certainly had to stop by. It was early enough that we had the place to ourselves and there was minimal traffic so getting the info was pretty easy. Cheers to your Virtual Reward, and thanks for adding to this great adventure down under!
We stopped here on way to mega,,had to see the dirty angel..lol..janjorjack sent in Our answers..thks for the fun
Day 4 in Australia and it was a road trip day. Chooknchunk,Jtee and I were off to the coast and. Working our way towards the Mega. Wow. What a lovely country. The goal for me was the many amazing earthcaches and some cool looking ones nearby. We have found the cachers around here super friendly and helpful. Thanks for the smile
6 months ago, during a frenzy, we said to ourselves "why not going to the mega in Adelaide for the leapday". From scratch we moved on to preparing an 18-day project in Australia. Our objectives are simple, visit a small part of this immense continent while validating a few caches. There are so many caches (impossible to do everything) that we will select. Our plan will allow us to visit Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Mount Gambier and finish in Adelaide for the famous Mega.During our stay we will log PestiHoot for Pestinette and Blackhoot. Today, we take the great road sea to go to Mount Gambier. Thanks for the virtual cacheThanks for the cache and the discovery of beautiful or original spots
**Today:**Found with DSDToday we decided to both visit the Great Ocean Road for the first time! ?? This wasn't originally on the plan for this trip, but our route changed slightly due to fires and we were too close to the coast here to miss it! We started caching in Port Campbell and ended our day in Mount Gambier, where I also crossed the SA border for the first time as well! A hugely productive and incredible day of amazing sights and plenty of new places visited. ---**This Cache:**Loved this, a quick virtual, but also several waypoints that took us to interesting locations all within close proximity to each other! Lots to see and read! Enjoyed WP4 with the inspiration behind the cache name and the inside local joke, great for travellers who wouldnt have a clue otherwise, thanks for that Answers have been sent to the CO & my photo uploaded to this log, TFTC
Day #2 Leaping Forward AdventuresAfter leaving my dinner event in town and high tailing it across to Colac for the night, today was a journey to eventually cross the SA border, at some point. How many stops will there be? .There was some maintenance work going on in the drains nearby today but everything was accessible. A short stroll showed me the sights and revealed the information needed. Thanks Wollaston for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy. ----------------------------------------------------------The Ballarat GeoTour ends on 4 March 2024! Be sure to find all the caches and earn the souvenir before the tour is archived. The [Farewell Ballarat GeoTour Event - GCAFQ8B](https://coord.info/GCAFQ8B) is on 18 February 2024.Are you ready to nominate in the 2023 Victorian Cache of the Year Awards? A pretty straight forward virtual just happened to be where I was walking this morning so I had to stop and get the smiley face!!Early morning meant there was hardly any traffic so I could just wander around and do what I needed to do.Answers have been sent to the CO. Thanks for the virtual
On a little adventure drive with Boston my geohound to Port Augusta via Geelong up the Great Ocean Road for my Dad's 80th birthday and this virtual was on my list to get. Such a nice place to visit and thankyou for this little bit of history and bringing me here.
January 14, 2024 12:41 PMAt least virtuals don't get muggled. Answers sent, TFTC.
I collected this virtual as I was wandering around town. I wasn't game to get on the roundabout and get the photo, so this one from a distance is good enough. Cheers for the cache and the laughs!!
This is a wonderful tribute to all those who have served to keep us safe. I enjoyed walkingaround and reading all the names and stories. Thanks for sharing.
The planned day started out as going caving in lava caves but since the tracks going in to the caves were that wet/muddy i couldn't get the 4x4 in there without damage. So the day changed to getting 20 finds in the 2 closest Victorian LGA's. This was one of those finds. I needed 100 virtual caches for a challenge in the A.C.T. We came and walked from WP to WP getting the answers. I can see now why the virtual got it's name. A fav point for the reason why. Found with Mogni. I think this is the most changed trip in the planning stage that i have ever been on. The " original trip " was supposed to start on the 31st of dec but at the start of December life changed and the trip was now starting on the 26th of December and all accommodation that had booked cancelled and now see what else is free on the earlier dates. A major readjust of plans and got 1/2 the trip booked before the next curve ball came in to alter the plans again. More adjusting the plans again and i realized i could host 2 CITO's in 2 different LGA's in Victoria. What we do to qualify for Victorian challenge caches. Also i got my 20, 000 cache over in Victoria in this trip. It was decided in the end that the 4x4 was going to be the vehicle for this trip that way we could go and target all the caches that you never get, the ones down the sandy/rocky/dirt and forestry roads/tracks. We left Adelaide and headed to Casterton for a couple of days, then to Budj Bim National Park ( and saw 5 koalas in the camp ground high up in the trees ), then over Heywood, a night in Mount Gambier plus there attended the 3rd CITO of the trip before sending a few nights in Millicent and then finally home. Over 250 caches found plus 86 lab caches. Mogni also got her 11th D/T loop. I also got 3 more Victorian LGA's up to 20 finds minimum for another Victorian challenge cache. If the cache was broken/eaten/smashed it was replaced with a new container and if the log sheet was wet it was replaced and if the log was full or almost full extra log sheets were added to the cache.
An amusing virtual, always good-----------------------------------------------------------------------------Found on a quick trip around Victoria to mop up all of the counties I was missing. Had my new swag so stayed in caravan parks so I could sleep while the car charged. Was at almost 100% charge every morning, and the nights camping cost about the same as a full charge at a supercharger anyway.
It makes so much sense now! So many comments, so not going too! I take back everything I've ever said about numbers off a power pole, there is a point. Thanks for the virtual and for highlighting this location. It's also a nice location with good views too.
Out and about in town visiting a few market so thought I'd grab this cache. Also another day ticked off the calendar. Thanks for the Virtual Cache Wollaston
Weve treated ourselves to 2 nights in a caravan park with a Black Friday deal. Today is day 2 we had a nice little tour around town and collected 19 caches, tried to get to 20 but ended the day with 2 x dnf .We had a super day and managed to get all our city chores done between caches.Always good to visit a nice War Memorial and remember those that made the ultimate sacrifice.Still chuckling now about that dirty Angel .TFTC Wollaston
Im in town for a conference so a quick cache or two was in order on the way to the dinner event. Great views up here. A lovely town - love the sea air! Selfie added and answers sent. Thanks for the fun and adventure!
We always enjoy a virtual that shares a little bit of insight into the local area. This one had us chuckling at the final waypoint. Thanks for placing.
On the way to the Great Ocean Road hold for a short stop to look at The Dirty Angel and to take a photo. Thank you for showing this place. Greetings from Germany

Enjoyed the tour then and enjoyed it again today lol. Thanks Wollaston for bringing me here and contributing to this great game for others to enjoy. Happy trails, Deanside
Another virtual find here in Warrnambool, thank you for taking us out herePika 29/10/23
Something special or unusual goes here:We played frogger with the early morning traffic and attended the way-points to gather the information and photo required. Yes the reason for the Dirty Angel was apparent. Answers sent to the CO and logged in anticipation. The Generic Bit:Both Bri and Sal are on the road for a holiday. [^] Holiday - Not a caching trip. This means if we are stopping for a rest, lunch, dinner or to see something whilst on holiday and there just happens to be a cache nearby then maybe Bri can go and try to find it. Maybe. Day 15 : Today was the penultimate day of our Holiday. Today we left Warrnambool and made our way back into S.A. Only as far as Robe though for our last overnight stop. After a day of little caching yesterday we managed to make a few stops for finds on the way today. We also managed a few Adventure Labs **SAs Leap Year Event GCA1DNA - keep the date free - 29th February 2024. - BOING*****Thanks Wollaston for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. *** Logs prepared and published through GSAK.
The weather was perfect, clear blue sky with a gentle breeze. We walked through the serene parks all the way up to the soldiers memorial, and paid our tribute to those served their country with unwavering courage. We also found it hilarious about the Dirty Angel. It is just too hard to ignore it when walking up from Merri St.
Out for an early morning stroll, this virtual was on my to do list. So so wrong with why she is called the Dirty Angel. once i saw it, l couldn't unsee it... typical Aussie humour lol.
This one visited during our stay in Warrnambool. Greetings from the Netherlands .
As I approached the angel, looking for a carpark (plenty to choose from), I am glad one of the little turmoils noticed the soldier statue of who we needed a photo with. I seem to have mucked up all the answers at every point. In my notes, I have deleted the year of the plaque in my finger happy delete button of extra unforced information. Wp 3 didn't seem to have a "bronze" plaque. Wp4 the ID number seems to only have 3 numbers.... but I totally get the point of why we need to come to the light as a Waypoint, so number becomes irrelevant Thank you for the local knowledge.
**First off, I just wanted to say congratulations for this cache being nominated for the 2022 Cache of the Year Awards for Best "Other" Cache! Well done!**I had the goal last year to find as many of the COTYA nominees as I could and I had an absolute blast exploring new areas and finding some amazing caches that I would have never known about if it wasn't for the nominee list.So with the [2022 Victorian COTYA Nominees List](https://www.geocaching.com/plan/lists/BMC8QYR?sort=name&sortOrder=asc&skip=0&take=20) getting released I decided that I once again wanted to make it a goal to try and find as many of the nominee caches as I could. The snuggle muggle and I decided to make the most of the warm weather this weekend by taking a road trip along the [Great Ocean Road](https://visitgreatoceanroad.org.au/) ultimately ending up in [Warrnambool](https://visitwarrnambool.com.au/), stopping mostly for Virtuals, Earthcaches, and Oldies along the way.So with this one being both a Virtual and a COTYA nominee, it was quickly added to the must do list. This one was our first stop on Day 2 of the weekend trip. We enjoyed reading up about the history of the area and after paying our respects we made quick work of the various Waypoints. However, a muggle was parked right in front of [Waypoint 4](https://www.geocaching.com/seek/wpt.aspx?WID=3eb4c896-3fd4-40fd-8427-83f9889d95d1&RefID=a49c5be8-0585-48cf-b2f4-b5ca438e6b3e&RefDS=1), so we did have to wait a little bit for them to clear off so we could obtain the required information.A big thanks goes to [Wollaston](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=e981789e-68f4-4101-8fa6-369ff48c06fa&wid=a49c5be8-0585-48cf-b2f4-b5ca438e6b3e&ds=2) for bringing us out here today and for all the fun. I think this Virtual was a great way to remember those who gave so much for us to live the lifes we do. TFTC.**Cache Maintenance Status**All of the signage at the various Waypoints were very legible and the information was easily obtained.
Im catching up on logging caches Ive got in my saved list. We visited Warrnambool on our way to the Great Victorian Cache Crawl. This was on the Cache of the Year nominees for 2022. Caches on this list were top priority for the trip, so this one was I insisted on doing while we were there. What a complicated Virtual Cache it was , but I found some interesting things in the RSL vicinity. Thanks for leading us there.

I had a number of goals for this weekend. This is day number two. I left Ballarat at 5:00am and made my way to Warrnambool, Colac, Geelong and then home. Around 1,000km over two days and I'm knackered.
Two very interesting Virtuals here. Answers submitted and awaiting approval.
**Thank-you to Wollaston for placing this geocache**

While visiting Warrnambool for the day with my Mum, I thought I’d collect the answers for this virtual. What a great view she would have if she had been facing the other way.

In Warrnambool for the annual 3hr free time, which is closer to 2hr once the drop off has been completed.
In my teens we would drive around the roundabout laying across the back seat to see the angel.
Thanks for the cache Virtual Wollaston

I have seen Dave Hughes talk about this one and can see what he means! Brier stop visiting Warrnambool City Council and stopped to do this virtual before heading home. Thanks.
In Koroit for a few days visiting friends. A quick trip into town late afternoon due to early start tomorrow. Answers have been sent. I'd heard a lot about this one at the Ballarat event yesterday, so I just had to visit today!! Many thanks
We’re on our way to Adelaide from Melbourne in a very convoluted way!! We needed to collect some info for a WIG in Warrnambool and needed to visit Mount Gambier’s LimeFM so that determined the route to Adelaide this year. It was just starting to rain when we arrived at GZ so it was a bit cold and wet whilst we gathered the info. This was our only chance though as we had a friend to visit and then we were off to Mount Gambier. Photo taken and info gathered we retreated to the warmth and dry of the car.

A Quick trip to the 'bool to grab a few necessities and a cache.

Hello Wollaston thank you for the cache
As both my boys were in the services I do appreciate a war memorial.
It was a cold and windy day but we did manage to find the information required.
This was one of many caches found on our way back home from Newcastle seeing our grand children.

Your geocache has been nominated for the Best “Other” Cache award in the 2022 Victorian Cache of the Year Awards. The “Other” category includes Letterbox, Virtual, Wherigo’s and Earthcaches.
With your nomination, your geocache has been placed in a geocaching.com [list](https://coord.info/BMC8QYR) with all other nominees so that the community can more easily find the nominated geocaches. Trying to catch up with some late logs.
Found this cache while staying in the area. Attended the dawn service and grabbed the info that was needed for this virtual while here mingling with the crowds.
Remember in my younger years, doing 'laps' of the main st, around the dirty angle. The price of fuel, it's probably no longer a thing.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for us to find.

Like beauty, dirtiness is in the eye of the beholder. I’m lucky to know some lewdness loving locals, who’ve shared the dirty angles of the angel. I’m likeminded enough to appreciate it. Thanks Wollaston for giving me another eyeful.
Lovely autumn day in Warrnambool. Decided on a whim to travel from the otways by train, who can resist the really cheap fares! This is my first find after 2 unsuccessful Multis, when walking up from the station. The day was to continue with quite a few DNFs so I'm glad I got this one and a few other finds before heading back home. Photo and answers submitted for a bumpy train.
In town to enjoy my new hobby( geocaching now 2nd) golf, and thought I'd immerse in some local history. Thanks for this virtual.
Down in Warrnambool with Mrs JTreeTrack2 for the day. Great to be able to come and get this virtual cache. I think the sculptor was resting on his laurels when he carved this one.
Thanks for the cache Wollaston

I visited this Virtual cache on a day spent targeting some caches of interest between Port MacDonnell and Warnambool.
Thanks Wollaston for the Virtual cache.

Interesting little area to check out and amazing views here too. Had no idea how it got its name so that was a laugh! Thanks for the interesting virtual while visiting the area with the kids and pacman.
Day 17 of our Australia Tour 2023, travelling from Peterborough to Warrnambool. We visited this place after we had arrived in good time.
Now we know why...
Thanks!

We needed a walk before dinner to build up an appetite, between way points. Wazza9 sent the answers to CO, for both of us. When I went to log the cache, the photo wasn't on my phone. So after a lovely dinner at the RSL I had to get another photo. a very good virtual, congratulations on getting one. Thanks to Wollaston.
We had two nights in Warrnambool, which in reality meant one total and full day to explore this area. Definitely not enough time, but we spent the day out and about enjoying this area and the nearby surrounds.
We would love to come back on a future trip to explore this area further.
Of course, seeing this virtual placed in such a beautiful location was enticing, and so we made this a priority on our adventure.
The view from GZ is beautiful down to the water below, but from a certain way point is also equally intriguing? The CO has definitely highlighted this dirty angel from a variety of waypoints and we admired her from all of the given locations.
A FP for the chuckle and the war history here.
Nice one Wollaston in all ways!

TFTC,
Caching our way through some new LGA's as we make our way to this years National Riley Rally in Tasmania.
And today we added 3 LGA's to our totals after travelling 166 Miles (about 260 km's). The Geocoin in my photo with the Soldier tells you that wazza9 caching since 28 February 2010.
A great virtual, added a favourite and visited trackables.

While passing through Warrnambool this afternoon, we visited this virtual cache. Data was collected and answers have been sent to the CO. The required photo is included with this log. Thanks Wollaston for an interesting virtual cache.
Day 2 of my road trip through the south west of Victoria... Colac to Warrnambool... with plans to find lots of caches along the way to help with a collection of different challenges I am working on... and generally have a great time!
Warrnambool at last... but my caching day was far from over. My target while I was here was to find at least 12 caches withing the City of Warrnambool to tick off one more LGA for the *12 Circuits of Victoria Challenge*. After dinner in the RSL, I decided to go out and get the remaining few caches I needed before it got dark... and where better to start that this Virtual.
Thanks **Wollaston** for putting it together.

Touring around the town of Warrnambool today in the wet and windy weather, not stopping us from grabbing some caches. Enjoyed the stroll around this area. Impressive memorials to remember those fallen. Answers sent to CO and cheers for the virtual.
