Reperio 13:45Day 4 of our NSW south eastern caching tour, and Master Vitruvius and I travelled from Batemans Bay to Eden. The biggest factor of our travels today was the wind. Often blowing so hard it was a challenge to both get the log signed and hang onto zip lock bags. The journey along the coast was fantastic. With rain threatening to arrive early the next day, we aimed to get as much done as we could, and so concentrated our effort on ticking off the caches along Bengello Beach and then continued down the coast. Found most of the caches we searched for, so it was a great day out. This was the first time I had been to Bermagui, and as such, these pool. Being such a beautiful day, the pools were quite busy, and so we quickly snapped a photo before heading back up to the car park. Lovely spot.Gratias Delta Response TeamAs a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV

We were lucky to even see the pool today as the water was so rough. We took a number of photos over the 5 minutes of no rain that we had. Unfortunately, none of them are very good. We look forward to coming back and actually utilising the the pools. . . . . hopefully they will be blue. Geoturtle37's photo is for both of us. Thanks for bringing us here with this cache.

06-Apr-24
I didn't think there would be much blue here today and there was none. Not in the sky, nowhere. The thought of swimming at the moment is rather daunting as the waves are pounding the coast here. We had about 5 minutes of only light drizzle so grabbed a few photos before we had to quickly get back to the car. Thanks for bringing us to this what we believe would be a beautiful location. We look forward to coming back when the weather is better.

This location was a bonus surprise on our trip from Lakes Entrance, VIC to Narooma, NSW today. The Sapphire Coast is stunning without a doubt, but this was the highlight for us. We stopped in Bermagui for a break and just loved it. Then I spied this virtual on the map. Being lovers of rockpools, we had to check it out. Wow!! Everything about this place was awesome. The cliff, the crystal clear natural pools, the blue lap pool, and especially watching the seals . Loved it!!

On a trip south to the southern lands to pick up on the trail of a Golden Dragon. With new clues in hand we are now tracking northwards and whilst in the area this evening we drive up to the pool to get this cache. The sea was like a washing machine with wind on our visit, but we grabbed the photo from above. 10-Oct-23
It was a windy day when we visited the Blue Pools on a trip to the south coast - certainly not enticing gore a swim (and if the water temperature was like the beach the day before the ice had just thawed from the surface). We saw sea-eagles flying above and lots of seals around the corner (out the wind). Thought I got my ride in the corner but the angles dont look like they worked out.TFTC Delta Response Team (been a while gif a photo only Virtual)

#12745 13:25For the October long weekend a plan was hatched to stay in Tathra for a few days of geocaching, sightseeing and relaxing together with Brewmaker, Cryptic8, AUbeasty, Ziggiau, Team Canary and Its_Dozzie.A great spot for lunch which we shared with the seals playing in the waves.TFTC

OCW EverestHigh. Beautiful location for a swim or completing a virtual cache. Nice and sunny today. There were seals sun baking on the rocks and many more floating in the water just soaking in the sun's warmth. Very tempting to go for a swim, but we had more caching to do. Worth an FP. Smile TFTVC Delta Response Team! Smile

01-Oct-23
A real bucket list item to swim here. The water was cold on the day but very very pleasant and easy to acclimatise too (even for someone who isn't really a fan of cold water). I'd love to be able to tick off a visit to all ocean pools in NSW, but that may be the next additions to the bucket list.

01-Oct-23
This was a lovely spot to visit. Judging by the number of seals hanging around the rocks bay, it is a popular location. Thanks for highlighting this place. TFTV

We are heading to Canberra to catch up with friends for a couple of days caching and we decided to leave early and take the more scenic route and grab a few caches along the way.

We are mainly concentrating on Ad Labs, virtual's and earth caches as they don't give us muggle problems.

We were here for a couple of points of the nearby ad lab on a cool but nice sunny day and we weren't going to go passed this virtual. We were quite surprised by what we found here, it is quite an interesting area indeed. We really didn't htink it was warm enough to be swimming as some people did.
The mandatory picture is attached below and as a bonus we did get to see some dolphins and a whale breaching before we left but too quick to get photos of.

Thanks Dale Response Team for showing us this area,

I've been here a number of times over the years. This weekend I was camped 'nearby' (half an hour away in Cobargo) with my Scouts. I got up early this morning to come here for a photo. I wanted to stay for sunrise, but I needed to be back in camp for 7am when the Scouts would be up.

Always a beautiful location, looked amazing in the pre dawn glow.

Cheers

Lovely sunset at the Blue Pools and the water was too tempting to not jump in for a quick dip. Very refreshing!

06-May-23
Exploring Bermagui today, we made our way here and snapped the required pic to fulfill the logging requirements for this virtual. Couldn't be tempted to take a dip. Too cold today, even for Tasmanians.

The Discworld runs on magic! This magic is stronger in some places than others after the Mage Wars. Some places are clearly affected - you can tell by the impossible Blue of the water.

CaptainVimes and I are on a driving holiday from Melbourne to Canberra this week. The water was a little too cold for a swim but that didn't stop some. Thanks for the fun Delta Response Team

F(H)ound It! #3785 @ 3:40 PM

Photo attached of us at a familiar swimming spot (MW is the good looking one with the Sapphire coloured hair).

I used to ride my bike 8 km into town for supplies before the Tathra Bermi Rd was fully tarred. This was the first stop so that my dog and I could cool down before shopping. Alas, no dogs allowed these days, which is fair as Bermi is a very dog-friendly town.

Thanks for an awesome virtual, Delta Response Team

Hi Delta Response Team

We were here today on our NSW coast leg of our ‘Around Australia’ trip.
We set off back at the start of 2021 expecting to go around Australia in 12 months - here we are still going in 2023 with about 1/3 of the island left to lap.
My (Geo Mum) personal Favourite experience: Too many to choose, Finding Gold and Opal high up there, working on a CQ cattle station was awesome too.
Favourite location: Gibb River Road/ Kimberley closely followed by Nhulunbuy/ Arnhem Land.
Best paid activity: Horizontal falls
Best free activity: Kings Canyon Rim Walk, Matt Wright putting us up for free in one of his helicopters was pretty awesome. (Let’s not talk about his current situation )
Most interesting location. Arnhem Land
What you have learnt: I wish I had something insightful to put in here, if I though really hard about it perhaps I do but I gues the most practical things I learnt are: Mango sap burns, midges are xxxx’s and dog beds are a versatile alternative to real furniture.
Miss the most: Family & Friends, closely followed by my garden and my chooks.
Look forward to the most: The Whitsundays
Regrets? Worrying so much and not heading off years ago!

*Sorry for the copy and paste log but I’m notorious for getting behind with logs and fluffing them up.

Wow what a cool location. Unfortunately we didn’t have enough time to go for a swim but going down and touching the water was worth it.

Day 6 of Courtneyrose_ and I’s trip from Adelaide to Sydney, today we headed from Cooma to Batemans Bay via Bega. After caching around Cooma in the morning before our event it was Was interesting to go from country highlands to the coast after being inland for the whole trip.

Thanks for the cache
