What a great rock. Bit hard to really look with muggles around. No joy for us sadly.
Unfortunately half of the team needed to stay behind to look after sick friends in Western Australia and the other half needed to head home for a doctors appointment. I joined forces with Papi4506 and Geoturle37 at Maralinga and we have travelling home via the Anne Beadell Highway and Oodnadatta Track picking up whatever caches we came across.
We had quite a good look around GZ but it was just starting to rain and that may have taken the edge off our search so we really hope that it is still there and it was just us today
Thanks Spaceinvader9

With half the team heading home via Maralinga and the AnneBeadell the other half remained in Geraldton to help out sick friends
I am now travelling south with Geoturtle37 and Papi4506 picking up some random caches on our way home
We spotted this one while we're doing a stage of the adventure lab and head to stop and try our lack. Happily early morning there were not too many muggles around and this 1 turned into a nice easy find . It's been quite a few years since we've been to Whyalla and unfortunately this is just a fleeting visit. We can't believe how the foreshore has changed over those year, definitely for the better.
Once adding our names to the log we continued on with the rest of the adventure lab. Many thanksSpaceinvader9 for setting this one up, we'll be back to finish the series another day

Muggles everywhere including many watching from cafe. D rating probably needs to be higher with muggle factor and CO says it's tricky. Looked briefly.
It was still their a few days ago when I walked passed and checked just a tricky one

This geocacher reported that this geocache should be archived. A community volunteer reviewer has been notified.
Had a quick look around. Did not find. A few too many people to continue looking without being obvious
Wet and raining conditions so no people around aloud me to have a good look but still came away empty handed. I think it may be gone. Could be wrong though

Only 1 BIG rock, searched for awhile, but no luck, have a feeling the cache may have gone walkies (like #2) ...
I started the day at the foreshore and wandered around for a fair bit of the morning. There were a few people wandering around the foreshore however there were sufficient gaps to grab the cache. TFTC.
Found this one a few weeks ago but didn't have anything with me to sign the log. Came back today suitably equipped but the cache is no where to be found. CO please check.
Heute haben wir rund um Port Augusta und Whyalla einige Caches gefunden. Danke fürs herführen an die schönen Orte. Liebe Grüsse aus der Schweiz, CMJost

We found a mint tin with a paper log, so not sure if this is the original or a throw-down. TfTC
Another quick find. Hopefully this doesn't go missing in any rubbish clean up

Heading over to tackle a few days on Eyre Peninsula with Mattycat and Perfect Di, Day 1 had us picking a few up in town, starting with a walk along the foreshore, quick find on this one today even found #4 as a FTF but this seems to have disappeared off the system

Met up with the froghoppin couple and with Purrfect Di and Jack to clean some of the colourful little marks from the geomap. A good chance to find some new ones and redeem a few old dnfs too.
Another one here that had gone missing last time we visited Whyalla. Seeing some maintenance done had us planning a return and a quick find was made today. The cache does seem to have shrunk though now, and a bit tinnier than the original listing
Spaceinvader9 we thank you for locating and maintaining the cache on our ever growing SA geo-map

Driving around - searching, spotting strange items and signing cache logs using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Whereyougo, Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S21u, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or often with just a guyess or plain old dumb luck
Plenty of the luck stuff actually !!!
*All the online logs are composed and published with GSAK of course.*

Danger! Caching is a very hazardous activity!
Look out for sand, mud, snakes, surprise cliffs, roos, wombats, things falling from trees, bulldust, and floods, and try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins and don't fall off your ladder...
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- and do watch out for bugs !!! . [xx(]
Make Travel Bugs the Only bugs you share and pass on (Covid cancels caching!)
Keep a safe distance - cache the countryside
Heaps good of all those placing quality caches out and about around the country areas,
in sensible safe places especially! - it keeps our game fun, and interesting
Much appreciate you reading all this extra addition to the log word count! There's a challenge somewhere out there, apparently! You win a virtual smiley for the effort and getting to the end of the log Maybe if I worked out where I could do it and go back to normal logs again ! If you find the challenge let me know and we can put an end to these long logs !!!

Unusual foreshore here. Tide way out.
On way home to Vic after holidays in SA.

Quick find
A little fiddly to get out of the tin, but a nice quick one while I'm in town
In the area doing an Adventure lab, and a bit of time to find this one, only just enabled. Foreshore looks pretty good these days. Tftc
Looks like they are high muggle areas. Such new caches gone missing already. Thanks for trying. Maybe re evaluate where they need to go
Looks like many have searched here. Bushes all frazzled! A sandy place to hide, but nothing visible may need a check up please!!!
Will return!
Will return!
No luck for us either and we had a good look. May have been Muggled.

Searched everywhere for this one on Monday the 1st but no luck, maybe it’s been muggled?
After some overnight rain, it turned out to be a quite nice day with a blue sky appearing, less chilly and windy. Enjoyed the views along the foreshore - first time we have visited them although we have been to Whyalla in 2019. Made a quick find with iluvtrekking. Great little food van nearby too! Thanks Spaceinvader9
Found with richlink today while caching around Whyalla enjoying the improved weather.
We has a lovely walk along the beach front, thanks for the cache Spaceinvader9.

A nice quick find on a calm but overcast night. Plenty of people around again tonight even with the cold. Just had to wait between walkers and cars to make the sneaky grab and sign. TFTC
Found while visiting Whyalla for a few days with Team Waldron and TeamAstro, with the aim of finding as many caches as possible in Whyalla and surrounds. Day 1 saw us travel up from Adelaide and tour the very scenic coastline around Port Bonython and Point Lowly. On Day 2 we headed out to the Fill In The Gaps (FITG) series, then to Iron Knob and back via the First To Find Power Trail (FTF PT) series. On Day 3 we cached in and around the City of Whyalla, and on Day 4 we made our way out to Whyalla Conservation Park before heading for home. Thanks for the cache Spaceinvader9!
Away for a few days with Featherwaite and Team Astro.
The plan was to get all the whyalla caches as well as the FTF series and the FITG caches.
Nearly got them all, just a few left for next time.

Lovely morning to stroll and suck in the oxygen.
A fun find with Team Waldron and FeatherWaite on a trip from Adelaide to Whyalla and “around”.
Thanks Spaceinvader9 and clear skies from TeamAstro. ️ Cache the planet!
